Anyone else 39+ weeks?

I'm due on Sunday and thought it'd be nice to see if anyone else is due soon?

How are you all feeling? This will be my second and we've been told it's a girl. If anyone's around and fancies a moan chat about this last stretch, step forward!!

Oh are you too? Haha...we must be mad but I feel I have to! Also don't want to hang about too long as I'm old enough at 35 now!! Eek! How old/young are you?
Can't believe you have to sit in and wait. Really hope they're there at 12!! X

I know I'd feel so mean on an only child. My brother is my best bud so I couldn't imagine my child not having that.

I'm 25 so I suppose I could still wait a few more years but I would like the children close in age.

Apparently I have to wait until 4 because I don't have a set appointment. She said "she may ring you when she's on her way or she may just call in before she finishes work at 4" so I've gotta stay in all day. Brilliant.

Yea I want to have another one in about 2 years as well! At least next time we will have distraction from our little ones! This is just a drag at the mo!

I'm also 25 but I don't want a big age gap either, always said I was going to have 3 but definitely not now doing this twice will be enough for me haha!!

Any news from your midwife Coney?

Oh you're both so lovely and young!! I've got 10 years on you both so can't afford to hang around really...

Hope your midwife has been now coney...let us know how you get on! I'm off out for a walk as got restless legs!

Nope. I have a feeling noone is going to turn up. If that's the case I'll have no option to call triage and ask what the hell is going on. I'm feeling a but irrational and hormonal to say the least haha.

It wasn't just his size coney, no one knew about that until he was out! He had managed to get b2b and facing the wrong way during labour that was discovered until I was checked at 10cm, combined with weight made it clear he was never getting around that u-bend!

Oh Coney... :( can't believe you're still waiting. Definitely ring them as it's important! I would be feeling the same way.

Oh Dulcet. What a naughty sausage you have doing that during labour!! Poor you at 10cm dilated too. So glad all is OK now. Do you have a name yet? Sorry if 100 people have already asked you that!

Oh poor you Dulcet, doesn't sound a pleasant experience! Yes Coney I wouldn't be getting livid by now, you can't be expected just to hang around on the off chance that sheay turn up I would def keep trying with triage and you should get through soon. Mine are pretty good round here they try and get u in straight away.

She turned up and was the nicest lady ever. I'm 1cm dilated but cervix still at the back. She explained everything to me all the jargon written in my notes and was so supportive of me not being induced. Had a good cry...For no reason and feeling a bit more.positive now

Oh so glad you had lovely lady Coney...that's a relief. 1cm dilated is better than nothing right could she say when she thinks it might happen and how long they'll leave it before wanting to book induction?

No she just said that a lot has changed since my last sweep which is good and they will leave me be as long as the baby is okay. Fingers crossed

Thanks!! Positive vibes your way too!! Try not to worry about baby being back to back, he could still turn couldn't he? Plus Midwives are well trained in dealing with it too!

Yeah he or she could turn in labour we shall see. Been for an epic walk qnd now I can't move haha x

Hi lostsouls... Yes booked in for Tuesday when I'll be 41+6 so will be more than ready! Just hope he comes before then!

Unfortunately lostsouls nothing is moving along at the moment! Very emotional this evening though dunno if that could be a sign? Got my sweep 2moro though.

No signs just a tiny tiny bit of what i pressume is my plug and a bit of cramping. Been on my ball and leaning over trying to flip baby too definitely ready for bed now!

I have a scan on Monday and all I can think about is them tripping up and telling me the gender! Can you imagine haha.

Aww laura I'm weepy most days I cried after my sweep because it was such a wierd thing to have done.

Laura, what Coney said...I cry a bit mostly every day now because I am just too uncomfortable and emotional!

We're nearly there ladies, just got to remember that to keep us positive and going...

I'm in absolute agony with my pelvis I think the baby must have shifted down which is a good thing I guess. Still no signs after my sweep though and I feel like I've done 10000 squats my thighs are so sore! Wierd!

Sorry for the moan haha. Hope everyone else is good!

Morning!! Same as usual for me...no signs! I've resigned myself to the fact I will be induced Tuesday...:( which probably means no lovely MLU for me unless pessary works first go!! A bit down about it but out of my hands and so fed up now, I just want baby here and can wait no longer.
Oh Coney...sorry you're in pain. Might be good sign if baby has dropped down even morrle though but take it easy today! X
