I'm due on Sunday and thought it'd be nice to see if anyone else is due soon?

How are you all feeling? This will be my second and we've been told it's a girl. If anyone's around and fancies a moan chat about this last stretch, step forward!!

Hi lost souls...one day over is still annoying though! I wish they didn't give you a EDD as I stupidly thought he would come by then!! Here I am, nearly 10 days later... Still waiting! Someone at work told me I'd be 2 weeks late as I'm a FTM...and i laughed at them!! Oh dear...

And clara I told people I was convinced I'd be early...proper kicking myself now.

I think in France they give an estimated month of delivery. I reckon that would be better!!

Yeah, I heard that too...41 weeks is considered full term isn't it over there..so let's pretend we're in France so really we are just 2 days over ha ha!! I do hope he appears over weekend!! Never have I wanted a stomach cramp so much!!! Not had even a niggle of one!! Whereabouts are you Coney by the way?

My husband said the same thing about in France only yday as he works with a French girl and she said to him about it! Makes much more sense that what we get!!

Loads of people kept telling me I would be early - convinced me of it in fact. No such luck! Think the French have got it right.
Having said that, I thought they had my dates out by a week and I wasn't due until 23rd so I should have stuck with that!
Keep getting cramps, tiny bits of a show etc but it hasn't amounted to anything yet & has been happening for over a week now :(
Nice bumps ladies, you will no doubt miss them when they are gone (although will be loving newborn cuddles instead).

Woken up still pregnant too!! Feeling miserable already, going to get up and go to the next sale to see if there's any bargains left haha! Was really hoping I might get some movement before having a sweep done 2moro but doesn't look that way.

I have my sweep today I'm dreading it. Have fun at the sale!

Good luck at your sweep coney. Don't dread it - keep relaxed and practice your breathing. It might bring you your baby!

Good luck with your sweep I hope it works for you! My MIL said she had a sweep lunch time and by the evening had had the baby so there is hope!! Will be thinking of you!

Yes there is always hope with a sweep...feel bad about not having a sweep but it is what it is now...bump is sooooo itchy today!!!

Don't feel bad about it clara you made that decision for a reason and if your body isn't ready they wont work anyway! Yeah it's nice here too today don't know if I can manage another walk though as my pelvis is like someone has a hot poker in it!!

Morning all! Just a checking in to say that I had a baby boy yesterday morning at 41+1. It was nearly 31hrs from waters breaking to delivery so pretty tiring but entirely worth it.

First half was amazing and managed to get to fully dilated with just water and gas and air but few unexpected things at the end led to failed forceps attempt and EMCS. Seriously though, it wasn't as bad as it sounds and feel chipped about it. We are both in hospital for a few days now but hoping to be home Monday maybe.

Oh, and he was 10lb 1oz!

You will all get there - you won't be pregnant forever!

Thanks coney... Sorry your pelvis is bad. I know the feeling... I had bad slight SPD in early pregnancy.

Ooh dulcet!! Congratulations :) so glad to hear your news, I'm glad all is OK although a lengthy labour and what a weight too!! Eek. Hope you're OK anyway and bet you can't wait to get home! Xx

Ah dulcet congratulations!! I'm glad you and your boy are okay! I pressume you needed forceps because of his size? I think I'm heading for a whopper too if I'm honest! Hope your time in hospital is okay.

Yeah clara I was on crutches 20 weeks or so and couldn't stand up. Seeing a chiropractor helped loads but I'm struggling now especially when babies head became eager!!

I'm still waiting for a call off community midwife I think I'll give it till 12 and ring and find out what's going on. Says it my notes "sweep scheduled for saturday 25th July" which is definitely not what she said to me and by that time ill be 17 days over!

Oh no Coney... Definitely call them and find out! Poor you with SPD, sounded horrendous if you were on crutches! Poor thing. This pregnancy malarkey isn't easy is it?! Let us know what happens with sweep...I hope it goes well this time! X

They forgot to book my appointment...which means they forgot to book me in for my monitoring on Monday too. Luckily the community midwife around here is a family friend and checked the schedule for me today and realised I wasn't on it so rung me and said she would try and sort it.

She did say though that the monitoring won't be booked now until Monday morning. I'm sick of then getting it all wrong. Fed up now!

I'm going to go to a food festival to get out and about today as much as I can't be bothered!!

Clara pregnancy definitely isn't easy!! Much more stressful than I ever imagined!

Coney I would give midwife a cal just in case they have got wrong date as well, sounds like mine mad yours are pretty useless!!

Oh Coney...how annoying is that? So bad really? I hope they sort it for you...last thing you need to be worrying about on top of everything else!! Keep us posted.

Laura...I know! I didn't realise how stressful it would be either...and I want to do it all over again in a couple of years! I think I must be mad, but I don't want an only child!

I'm gonna be wanting to do it all over again for that reason too clara god help us all! Haha.
