I had a little bit of brown blood before I went to bed last night but just went to the toilet and there is quite a lot of bright red blood - I have a crampy tummy too. I am about 7 weeks pg. It is not looking good is it.

oh schneebly
don't know what to say either, so sorry the waiting goes on - it's the worst bit

lanismum · 21/08/2006 16:17

been thinking of you all day, so sorry you are still having to wait for a definate answer

suejonez · 21/08/2006 16:19

Have you got plenty to keep you busy, Schneebly?

lucy5 · 21/08/2006 16:32

Just seen this, so sorry.

schneebly · 21/08/2006 16:36

Sue - was trying to get busy organising things for the start of my degree. Called to get start times for my Indiction 'day' next Monday (a 5 hour drive away) and was told that induction would take 4 days!! Why the hell couldn't they have mentioned this earlier! I am not a 17yr old with no responsibilities fgs! DH can't take that week off work as they have a big golf competition on and when the woman told me on the phone that I had to be there for the 4 days I burst out crying I really want to do this but don't see how I can manage to go away for 4 days! Am feeling and

is there no way they can postone your induction days? would that help at all?

weewilliewinkie · 21/08/2006 16:51

you need to call her back and fully explain your situation. There must be a way for you to do the induction without having to be there for 4 days! That sounds a bit extreme - I remember induction days only really being an afternoon!

Anyway, hope you're feeling alright. Sorry you still have to wait till Friday.

suejonez · 21/08/2006 16:53

I agree with weewilliewinkie, it is absolutely not appropriate for you to haul yourself off for 4 days at the moment. Ring them and explain, if the person you spoke to can;t be flexible, try someone else.

schneebly · 21/08/2006 17:57

They say it is the same days for all those on my course and can't change them - imperative that I be there because my course is online and they have to give me a lot of info in advance and training on how to use the online classrooms etc. I am severely pissed off. DH says he can arrange things so that I can go but really don't need all the hassle and being away from my family at this point in time! I really really want to do this course though.

deffinately worth explaining your situation i am sure they have policies in place for situations like yours?

weewilliewinkie · 22/08/2006 14:50

how's things today scneebly? Did you get any joy from your induction people?

Hope you're bearing up. Take care..x

FoghornLeghorn · 22/08/2006 15:50

Schneebly, I hadn't seen this before now.
Fingers crossed you get some good news on Friday

suejonez · 22/08/2006 23:33

I think you are going to get more bloods taken tomorrow Schneebly, good luck.

What have you decided to do about your induction?

schneebly · 23/08/2006 07:40

Thanks everyone - just seen this. I am getting more blood taken today and will know what the results of mondays was. I have a busy day ahead - DS1'S first day at nursery , blood tests, granny visits and playgroup this afternoon for DS2. As for the induction - I am going and everything is sorted out for it. I am still a bit apprehensive about being away from my family next week but it might be a good distraction. I think I am coping well with things because I have fantastic support from my family and friend as well as on here. Thank you everyone.

schneebly · 23/08/2006 18:30

Got more blood taken today and got Mondays results - not good Hormone levels already very low - what they would be if I was 4-5 weeks pg (and on the low end of the scale even then)and not 7+. Midwife is not holding out much hope and neither am I. I think my baby is gone.

so sorry Scneebly, I was really hoping you would hear something more positive today. I suppose at least now you know what's going on. This is a horrible time for you, wishing you lots of strength and love for you to get through it.

xx

JackieNo · 23/08/2006 20:07

So sorry to hear this Schneebly - thinking of you.

Beauregard · 23/08/2006 20:13

Very sorry to hear your news schneebly
{{{big hugs}}}

BudaBabe · 23/08/2006 20:14

Oh Schneebly - how sad for you.

shhhh · 23/08/2006 20:16

Sorry but I remember what a horrible time this is..sadly the pain never goes away.

Glad you are getting the support you need. Remember that you will go through all kinds of emotions over the next months/years. It's all normal and there is help. I found conselling a great help and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Sometimes when even my dh couldn't help me....
I found great comfort in planting a rose bush in memory and in fact only told dh about this recently 2.5 years later.

I so hope your fears are not confirmed but if you need a chat etc then please do CAT me. xxx
