I had a little bit of brown blood before I went to bed last night but just went to the toilet and there is quite a lot of bright red blood - I have a crampy tummy too. I am about 7 weeks pg. It is not looking good is it.

Oh no shneebly, I've just found this thread. I'm so sorry to hear about this. Thinking of you all this weekend.

hey schneebly, how are you feeling today? Been thinking about you.

schneebly · 20/08/2006 08:38

a bit better I think - I just had a relaxing day yesterday with DH. We stayed in and watched a comedy dvd and curled up together. My dad took DS1 out for the day and we just took it easy all day. I had a couple of lovely phone calls from my 2 friends who knew about the pg and they are both coming home to visit me soon which is nice. Thank you for thinking of me.

that's good - distraction techniques work for me. Lose yourself in a good book, especially a funny one (I love Bill Bryson!), watch silly films...anything to take your mind off it for a least a little while will help you rest and relax.

Take care x

hi schneebly. only just seen this thread. so sorry you're going through this. you worried me a little with your description of the pain. if you are worried try to get to an EPU to rule out an ectopic - having had both an ep and m/cs i always worry when i hear about pain in pg loss. sending you much love and strength xxx

Gwu · 20/08/2006 12:26

schneebly, have just read your thread and it makes me feel so sad (I've had 3 miscarraiges). Even if things don't work out, I do hope you'll feel emotionally ok about it all eventually.

Thinking of you schneebly.

weewilliewinkie · 21/08/2006 08:30

oh pet, this is awful for you. I know how you feel, I really do. You just need this to be over with and then you can get on with coming to terms with it and coping. And you will cope, even if it sometimes doesn't feel like it.

I remember dh taking me to the hospital on the morning of my d&c. I hadn't really slept either and I just felt like I was watching myself from a distance. It was surreal and hellish. But once that day was over I was able to grieve and rant and weep and slowly I started to be able to see the light at the end of that dark tunnel. It will come for you too, I promise.

Be kind to yourself. I'm always around if you need to talk. x

Seems the MoFo's are out in force today. I'm thinking of you too Schneebly. xx

schneebly · 21/08/2006 15:14

Thanks MoFos' and everyone else. I had blood taken this afternoon and the midwife was lovely- I will get more taken on Wednesday and should have the results by Friday but she wasn't too positive. She did say, however, that some women bleed in pg and the baby is okay and some lose a twin early on. I don't believe this is what has happened to me as I just didn't feel quite 'right' from early on really and never got a very dark positive line on tests. I think DH is getting his hopes up though which I wish he wouldn't do. He is now convinced that I was carrying twins and lost one of them (there are twins in the family) I have just accepted the worst case scenario because that is what I believe and if things are okay then I will get a lovely surprise but I doubt that will happen. Thanks again for all your support - it has been amazing.
