bleeding and cramping - not good is it. : - (

I had a little bit of brown blood before I went to bed last night but just went to the toilet and there is quite a lot of bright red blood - I have a crampy tummy too. I am about 7 weeks pg. It is not looking good is it.

when i had that i got an emergency appt with doc who sent me to get scanned straight away.
i had had a missed miscarriage but as everyone says, most people are ok. the only way to find out is a scan.
i had to wait ages for the scan however. this was the bit that killed me. dh and i sat there crying!

Thinking of you Schneebly. Just to say I bled more with my DD, than the pg I m/c, so hoping and praying that everything is ok.

I'd probably just go straight down to casualty Schneebly - you'll just get referred to hospital from the doc I should imagine anyway.

Thing is I live 11 miles from hospital in town and have no car until DH finishes work but he is finishing early afternoon today - there are no buses until 2.30pm now. My GP's is a 2 mile walk and I would have to take my 2 DSs with me so I am not sure that is an option either.

Oh schneebly . I had bleeding with ds, very similar to a normal period for 2 months running - fingers crossed for you.

btw, if you have a scan, it may be an internal one. Doesn't hurt or anything but just wanted you to be aware this may happen.

I would. Weekends aren't good for getting scans IME - best if you know more today.

I am in Kintyre, Scotland. DH works on a remote golf course and now he appears to be out of signal on his phone which happens on parts of the course - I will keep trying.

Am starting to feel really now because I can't get DH on the phone.

Can you ring a landline at the club house and ask them to get hold of him?

thinking of you schneebly..Fingers crossed for you. I know it's not to but you need to lie down and relax. Think positive thoughts. Try dh and the epu again but chill.

You need to do all you can to help baba stay in there.

I had bleeding and awful cramping with this pg (now 24 weeks) until about week 12. I've had 4 m/cs so thought I knew the symptoms and was gobsmacked when I had early scan and all ok. Good luck - it is a really horrible thing to go through and I hope you have a good result from the EPU.
