After 10 years of fertility treatments, countless failed IVF cyclces and four heartbreaking miscarriages (all at around five weeks), my brother phoned me tonight to tell me that he was sitting on his sofa looking at a scan picture of a little tiny being with a strong heartbeat at seven weeks! Its early days but all the signs are good and this is the furthest they have ever come. I am just sending a heartfelt plea for all of you, whatever your beliefs, to send a little prayer or positive thought that this little baby makes it. I really really believe it makes a difference. We've been praying hard ever since the IVF cycle and I dreamt they had a little girl! They will be wonderful parents. So please send a thought of strength and life and hope and love and whatever else to help this most precious little person make it safely into the world.

She is indescribebly beautiful.i love her tiny wrinkly feet and her little button nose.
you can see the utter adoration in Katie and Tone's eyes and at first i thought she is the image of Tone, but then the three of them together...she is just a little bit of each and a whole lot of beautiful individual Neve..thankyou for sharing the pictures, im so happy for you all

I'm new to mumsnet this being the first thread I've read and the first post I've written. I've been so touched by your story (and the love that surrounds it) that I hope you don't mind me saying at this late stage how truly happy I am for Mum, Dad, Grans, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and all the virtual relatives too.
Most of all Neve I am happy for you, welcome to this big wonderful world, filled with so much love... more still to come than even you have encountered on your amazing journey. Neve you truly are a little miracle (BIG Miracle!).
Mum and Dad enjoy her, I'm currently planning my ds's first birthday and believe it or not, it gets so much better yet! each day will be more miraculous than the last...
I wish the happy family all the joy in the world.
Now i'm off to bed (a little later than planned) after I've cleaned all the mascara off my cheeks. XXX

You are a beautiful girl and will no doub't grow in to a gorgeous young lady! I've seen the pictures and they say the camara never lies!

Have a very happy life sweetiepie, I've no doub't that you will, surrounded as you are by parents, family and friends who love you so much!

You are truly amazing people, an inspiration to us all. You have kept going despite all your heartache, and have acheived your goal - holding your so very precious loved one in your arms. You deserve all the hapiness in the world and now you can begin to receive it, with Neve at your side.

Melbournemum - you are also a truly amaxing person - the love you have for your BD and Sil is admirable - if everyone had a family like yours the world would be even more of a wonderful place.

beautiful, just beautiful...I'm sitting with tears streaming down and plopping onto my own darling daughter's sleeping head..she's a whole 4 weeks old now! Oh, Neve...welcome to the world, baby girl! What a joyful story, the photos are stunning and this has truly been the happiest ending and brightest beginning I think MN has ever seen.

Congratulations! This thread is truely amazing and the best ending to any story ever! All I can say is (apart from my own precious DDs) Neve is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen.

How gorgeous to wake up to all these lovely messages and to see that our precious baby Neve is a discussion of the day! its just so special.
AuntySensible and Clemster/DonnyLass I don't know how the CAT thing works but would it be possible to have a way to contact you?

My two ds are on the rampage this morning (emptying the toy box as I type and bringing in each discovery to plonk down on the keyboard!) so my mission of sharing all the gorgeous details of Neve might have to wait a few hours! My dh got to meet her last night as he was in Sydney on a business trip which is sooooooooo lovely.
