Yes I have finally started this thread. A bit apprehensive though as I'm still getting period pains.

I have worked out that baby number 2 should be due on 7 August.

Anyone else joining me??

hi sweetkitty - really glad your scan went well, wow 1:6000 that's great , mine odds went from 1:110 to 1:911 which I thought was pretty good but...guess I am just alot older than you from that!
Hope the bleeding has stopped, I am now 12 weeks 3 days and havn't bled for 3 days - hurray. Next big event - booking appointment on 10/2.

dinosaur · 02/02/2004 10:55

It's gone very quiet on here - hopefully that means no news is good news in everybody's case!

I'm feeling a bit paranoid because having put on a few pounds in the early weeks, I don't seem to be gaining any more weight at the moment - even though I'm eating like a horse! But have other pg symptoms (heartburn, nosebleeds, sore boobs) so hopefully everything's okay.

Hi I didn't want to be posting all the messages. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow. Still don't feel pregnant and am waiting for the tiredness to go and the "glowing" to start. I don't know how you lot with toddlers cope with being pregnant and shattered constantly and having toddlers running around. You are supermums! Still no bump but am sure the baby has pushed the flab layer out, embarrassed as people are saying wow you're showing so I just agree rather than say no that's just flab!

M2T · 03/02/2004 11:57

Hiya - I'm 14wks on Friday and I don't feel pregnant at all! Its a bit worrying though. Like Dino I haven't put on anymore weight and I thought after 12 wks I would really notice the bump grow.

Aww M2T - didn't mean to get you fretting an' all!

I think we need to get in the yurt, do some deep breathing, think some positive thoughts, and quite possibly eat a few bars of wholesome organic chocolate - what do you reckon ?

sibble · 03/02/2004 19:13

Hi there - 13 weeks and 1 day, 'blank blank' bleeding started again yesterday - fresh blood again - at least have stopped panicking about it and was good excuse not to hoover and mop the bathromms etc....
But good news - only got up to the toilet once last night - hurray - has been every hour for past I don't know how long - feel refreshed and almost human this morning. So much so that I am going to brave the local coffee shop with some friends (smells have been too much up until now). Maybe things are on the up (think very big smiley).
Also is DS's 4th birthday tomorrow - hormones mean keep crying about it but we made and he decorated the greenest cake you have ever seen yesterday to take to nursery today literally covered in sweets - not really fitting with the healthy eating policy but is nut, egg and dairy free for those with allergies!!!!!! just not too good for those sensitive to food colourings!!! (why can't I do smileys)

M2T · 04/02/2004 08:52

Dino - Don't worry, it's not you that's got me worried.... I'm just being neurotic!

Sibble - I'm now only up once a night too!! WAHEY! And I managed a whole cup of coffee this morning..... to wash down my breakfast of prawn cocktail crisps of course.

How are we all today ladies?

Do you know, I could almost have sworn I felt some movements yesterday? Am I being daft - I'm only just over 14 weeks? I can't for the life of me remember when I started feeling them last time, although I know it was quite early.

M2T · 04/02/2004 15:22

Dino - Spooky!! I was just thinking the same thing. About half an hour ago I swore I felt a flutter, but thought "surely not this early!".

I was 17 wks last time. So maybe it is. Hope so!

I thought I noticed it yesterday when I had a cup of tea in the afternoon - so I'm off for a cuppa now - will report back shortly

dinosaur · 04/02/2004 22:31

I got interrupted so many times whilst having my tea, that I didn't really have a chance to think about baby movements! In fact, I got interrupted so many times, I didn't even have the chance to go and get a biccie to dunk in it...grrr...work eh!

HAPPYFACE · 04/02/2004 23:15

HELLO, THOUGHT I'D JOIN IN DUE 26/8 SO ONLY 11 WKS NOW 12WK SCAN 13/2 HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE YET EVEN PUT OFF COMING ON HERE! I HAVE DD 2YS2MTHS BUT HAD PREGNANCY BEFORE HER TERMINATED BECAUSE OF SO MANY PROBLEMS SHOWN UP AT 12WK SCAN. IT WAS WELL PLANNED AND I WAS ONLY 26YO, THEY SAID PROBABLY ONE OFF BUT YOU ARE SO SCARED AFTER SOMETHING LIKE THAT. STILL BIT MORE POSITIVE THIS TIME SINCE ALREADY HAVE PERFECT DD!

M2T · 05/02/2004 08:41

Dino - I felt it again at teatime so I think it is the baby moving!! WOWOWOWOWOW.. Seems even more real now.

Happyface - What a worry for you, but like you say it must be SOOOOO rare. Good luck with the scan and CONGRATULATIONS!

Hi every1. Sorry havent been on the thread for a while, i was having problem connecting.
Anyhow, had my 12 wk scan on Wed 4th. Everything went okay (only forgot to take my maternity records ). I even saw the baby move. i don't know which part of it was moving but i think it may have been the legs .
My 20wk scan is in April. Feels like along time away. If felt really weird seing the baby, cos lasttime i wasn't given the opportunity as there was nothing there.

Quackers · 06/02/2004 09:13

M2T, I have been dismissing early movements for a couple of weeks as I thought it was impossible! However they have just got stronger and stronger so I know what I felt at 13 weeks were flutters! Now at 15 I could feel it coming through my tummy last night!!! I didn't feel DD until 22 weeks but this one is a lively one!!!! Trust yourself!!

dinosaur · 06/02/2004 10:39

I'm convinced I'm feeling movements! Felt them several times yesterday!

My dad was staying with us last weekend, and in the mornings the DSs invaded his room to jump on the bed, and I could overhear DS1 telling Granda: "Do you know, there's a baby in mummy's tummy! It's going to come out in August!" Sweet eh? Has everyone else told their older children now?

M2T · 06/02/2004 13:15

Excellent Quacks... I really hope it isn't my imagination. I haven't felt anything today, but then I haven't stopped to think!

Dino - My ds told the cashier in the corner shop the other day! He patted his own tummy and said:
"I know!! There's a baby in Mummy's tummy!"

I asked him if he wanted Mummy to bring home a baby boy or a baby girl. He thought for ages then said he wanted a "Baby Bel"!! (the mini cheese for those who don't know what that is).

aww thats so cute m2t

you lot are so lucky feeling movements - I've felt nothing yet, still feel very unpregnant. Suppose it's cos it's my first and I still have stomach muscles left (for a short while)!

Quackers · 06/02/2004 13:37

Cute!!!
I only really feel it in the evenings when I'm sat down. They say you can feel them really early though with 2nd babies!! Just didn't expect it to be this early!!!
I eat ice cream or drink tea and I really get some action!! Not that sort (unfortunately)!!

sweetkitty · 08/02/2004 22:23

Question for you ladies - for about 5 days I've been getting pain in my lower back especially in my tail bone when I sit down. It's better in the morning but gets worse in the evening. I'm only 14+4 weeks so should I be getting pain like this? Is it just back ache or is it pregnancy related? I'm not even showing yet!

tillymint · 09/02/2004 09:01

Hi, just poppped in from Sept o4, sounds like SPD. I,ve got it too, at 11weeks+. Does your pubic joint ache a bit too?, feel bruised?

sweetkitty · 09/02/2004 09:11

ouch I hope it's not! This morning it only hurts when I go to sit on it but I know it'll get worse as the day goes on.

dinosaur · 09/02/2004 16:20

no advice I'm afraid sweetkitty but lots of sympathy
