slink Shock at your exp, what a bugger!
Can he not see your neat little bump. wow 2 stone, i haven't dared weigh myself, gonna do it today now though. yeh we shoudl gain weight more now, we are gaining around a lb a week half of that is baby, makes me wonder if i'll ever lose the other half.
Glad your squits are going and that you managed to get to the docs yesterday, take it easy and save your energy.

Oinker - we're all with you today, holding your hand, please don't feel alone. our friendship will keep you safe. Good Luck (Wink got a good feeling still)

HellKat · 25/04/2006 09:05

Morning all.
Oinker-{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} as Dids said, we're all here with you hunny. Will be sending out as many positive vibes as I can muster up. If it's all well but they have no clue as to where the bleeding's coming from, get them to check the lining surrounding babba. Mine was 10x thicker than normal. Mw's, nurses and the consultant had never seen anything like it before. My womb had buried lo and the lining was shed like an awfully heavy af until it went back to normal. I'm so hoping this is the case with you. Love, best wishes, happy thoughts being to you darling xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

petunia · 25/04/2006 09:26

Morning all,
oinker- thinking of you today. Got everything crossed for you.

I'm off to the hospital! Don't think it's anything to worry about but I think some leaked waters last night and a bit more this morning. Thought it best to get it all checked out.

HellKat · 25/04/2006 09:32

Omg Pet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo excited lol. Best of luck chick, I hope it is!!!
Roll on 20 more weeks for me Wink

Wills · 25/04/2006 09:36

Oinker - Thinking of you loads honey. Remember we're here rain or shine - that's the point of this thread honey.

Pet - OOOOOHHHHHHH

Arabica · 25/04/2006 09:42

Good luck Oinker and Petunia!
Cori and Slink, and anyone else, are we meeting 12.30 Covent Garden tube? I'll be wearing a pink coat and coated in plaster dust from our building work!

mygirllolipop · 25/04/2006 10:03

Oooooooooh Pet - could this be it?
I remeber DH had an interview at LRI and it was nightmare parking. It was on my birthday and I was pg with DD3, complete nightmare!
Oinker - thinking about you right now honey.

DD3 decided to tip her pushchair over and get a fat lip from the handle bar yesterday. There was blood everywhere coming out of her nose and mouth. So had to call DH home from work to take us to A&E, she got cleaned up and she's torn the piece of skin that joins the lip to the gum. funny thing was she fell asleep afterwards (which they said they weren't worried about) so I walked into A&E with a blood stained jumper and an unconscious looking baby. It meant we got seen quick! We were only there an hour. The swelling went down after a few hours altho it is still a little swollen, and now there's like a bruise/friction burn under her nose. Bless her little heart!

slinkstah · 25/04/2006 10:22

oinker- thinking of you today.
pet- whoo could be the start:)
mygirl- aw poor dd3 bless her

arabica and cori - 12.30 at covent garden sounds good to me. i will be wearing a brown coat. i won't be eating though as i am avoiding squits. i will have to leave by 2.30 latest to get back in time for skids. hope thats all ok.

HellKat · 25/04/2006 10:26

Mygirl- Ds2's done this twice now. The second time he did it there was loads more blood (mouth wounds always bleed loads) and his front tooth was knocked. His poor gum after was all bruised. All because he was running with his dummy in. Touch wood, he has'nt done it for a few months. Hope she feels better soon.

oinker · 25/04/2006 11:38

I'm back......... Smile

All is well. Saw beanies heart beating sooooooooo fast. Smile I can't stop crying.
The cause of brown d/c is me m/c my beanies twin.Sad They pointed it out to me on the scan.Sad I can only hope that this one is going to be OK.
I have to go back in next week for a further scan. They will scan and blood test me every week.

Thanks for all your support. This week has been a nightmare for me. You guys have kept me sane and positive. THANKS. x

desperatehousewife · 25/04/2006 11:50

oh my god, congratulations Oinker - I am so so so so SO happy that there is a heartbeat.

Will take you some time to get your head round the loss of the twin though I guess.

How many weeks are you? Did you know you had twins?

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

SnowBoo · 25/04/2006 11:50

I'm so pleased for you oinker but sad too.
Just take it easy now. My friend had the same problem, bled lots, thought she'd lost her baby but it turned out to be the twin that she m/c. She has a beautiful little baby boy now and is sooo in love! Big hugs to you.

mygirllolipop · 25/04/2006 11:52

Oinker Grin!
Sad about losing a twin but Grin that you are still pg!

Wills · 25/04/2006 12:53

Oh oinker, sad about the twin but over the moon about the other one. Did they give any reason for the loss of one? I'm sooooo glad you're still pregnant honey.

oinker · 25/04/2006 13:33

I was too stunned to ask any questions. Shock
I will get all the relevant info and picture next week.
My calculations make it 8+2, but I think I may be wrong. I am probably about 7+2 or thereabouts.

I have calmed down now. DH is on his way home. He was so shocked when I called him. He should be home in the next half hour or so. Smile

Thanks for all the support. You guys have been great. Smile

HellKat · 25/04/2006 14:37

Oinker- See we knew it! Grin
So Sad for you about the twin but absolutely ecstatic that you're still pg. Alot of women that lose a twin go on to have a healthy babba so you get resting hun. So, so, so pleased for you & dh.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

wools · 25/04/2006 14:54

Oinker - I'm so pleased for you - you must have felt so emotional though. What a day, to realise your baby was okay but also to learn that you were carrying twins and one of them didn't make it.

mygirllolipop · 25/04/2006 15:14

Oinker - so glad Dh is coming home and can do all the housework for you while you rest. And you absolutely deserve our support and this good news!

slinkstah · 25/04/2006 16:19

oinker- saw your news on my phone whilst on the tube on way to meetup and nearly jumped up and down on the picadilli line! i was unable to reply because this thread is far too long for my phone to cope with!
i am so happy for you. its strange to be pleased because you have just mc the twin but also so pleased that there is a beanie there and a heartbeat was found. how do you feel about it all? are you still in shock?
i bet by next week you will have 100's of questions to ask the drs lol
rest up and celebrate {{{{hugs}}}}

meetup was good it was great meeting you cori and arabica:)

slinkstah · 25/04/2006 16:23

ooops forgot to say, please someone start a new thread so my phone doesn't crash whilst loading the million messages lol
maybe oinker should start it as a good luck thing:)

also anyone heard from petunia? do ya reckon they kept her in?

twocatsonthebed · 25/04/2006 17:58

oinker - that's bittersweet news, but also still fantastic. And don't they say that the risk of miscarriage is much reduced once you've seen the heartbeat? It sounds like you're going to be in good hands now, too.

mygirl - hope DD3 is better now,

and I shall be on the edge of my seat waiting to see if this is it for petunia?! Or at least the edge of my bed - I made the mistake of going into work for almost a full day and am now knackered...

cori · 25/04/2006 18:00

Oinker, its great news your still pregnant. Bittersweet loosing a twin, but still a positive sign. By the way I didnt know you used to be Peepee, ( I had wondered what had happened to you)

Slink and Arabica, it was lovely to meet up today. I had a little wander around Neals Yard afterwards and treated myself and DH to some nice smelly stuff ( why should baby get all the presents Smile)
About a new thread, I know this one is huge now but lets just wait until one of us has graduated to baby land.

OP posts:
petunia · 25/04/2006 18:56

oinker- so pleased that you're OK but Sad about the twin.

Well, I'm still here. I went in and a midwife had a good look over and thinks that it was wee (if it was my waters she says there would have been a lot more soaking through a pad etc). So it's probably all down to weak pelvic muscles, especially as I coughed just before this leak. I think that the baby has moved down though because I'm feeling more pressure in my bottom. So I'm back feeling BlushBlush again although DH said it was better to get it checked out.

What has upset me is that afterwards I had to listen to my Mum going on about how much work she had to do at home (she couldn't get home because my Dad had gone off to do a few hours work) and that my Dad wasn't sure that he could cope with DDs on his own if I had to go in on one of the nights she works, and then later my Dad about what days it would be convenient to him for me to give birth! Like I can choose any of these things. After listening to that all afternoon, feel like going off and having a good cry now!

oinker · 25/04/2006 19:36

Cori,

I did wonder whether you realsied it was me. One of the SKIDS sussed my password etc and logged on to mn. She confronted me, asking if I was pregnant...So i said no and changed my name.

I was so shocked and still am at the news.
It's so strange getting this far!! Fingers crossed it carries on. Only 30 or so weeks to go!!! Grin

Slink... I started a new thread. I have no idea how to link it to this so someone else will have to. I can't do all that Hi Tech stuff. I can't beleive u check out mn on your phone. I wonder if I can do it on mine?

Glad u lot had a good lunch. Where did you go?

When you all start hatching we will have to arrange a meet on the A40 somewhere! Grin There are some lovely cafs along the road. Wink
