Morning all.
Slink- Sounds like she needs a slap tbh. I'm rhesus neg and have been pumped full of anti-d loads before lol.Luckily did'nt need it after the birth of ds2 because he's neg aswell!
Oinker- Ohhhh it's so good you've still got symptoms hun. Lovely gp by the sounds of it too!

It's been 2 days since my horrendous, agonizing back pain's gone yippey Only thing I can think of is lo's moved. It's heavenly being able to walk Grin Making the very most of it just incase it kicks in again Wink

Have a great day all! x

HellKat · 22/04/2006 09:00

Cori- Hazy here so it's either going to be sunny later or chuck it down, any case it's warm lol!

oinker · 22/04/2006 10:20

Good morning mumsnetters!!!

Still got p/g symptoms. But still got the brown gunky stuff too. Shock Roll on tueday.

This next bit may make some of you feel a bit icky so DO NOT READ.........

Went for a p, wiped found brown gunky stuff, checked pan and saw that the brown gunky stuff was stuck to side of pan and noticed some chunky bits floating. This bit is gross... be warned. Got some tissue and scooped up the floaty bits. They were shaped like....ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
how do I explain this.....ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..
right imagine a tiny peice of broken biscuit.. except roundish. I touched it and it crumbled away... How bizarre is that????? FREAKY Sorry if it is TMI.
Told DH who just stared at me and said' I was a thing!!!!' He is so nasty. Grin He than rushed out of the bedroom.

HellKat · 22/04/2006 10:27

Weird hun. Only thing I left in the pan, so to speak, was huge clots. When I had my missed mc, I did'nt pass anything at all (except for that icky stringy/thready d/c stuff). Hmmmmmmm. Wonder if you've got same thing I did. my body produced way too much lining with this pg and therefore had an extra heavy, extra long period to get rid of it. Sure enough once the lining went back to normal, the bleeding stopped.
If you were in the States now, you'd be asked to keep a sample of that "stuff" to take in to your ob/gyn. Wish they'd do that here. Make life alot easier.
I'm stumped what it could be hun.

slinkstah · 22/04/2006 11:56

its sunny:) gonna go somewhere good today! dunno where yet.

cori - i can meet any day too:)

oinker- stumped me too, but i know how strange things can get down there- ive sometimes wondered if i am really humanGrin

hk- i have caught your back pain! since baby became breech i have been walking like an overdue pg woman!

5 weeks 3 days to stitch removal:) (*whispered - and a much needed orgasm too!Blush)

petunia · 22/04/2006 14:49

Afternoon all,
Yes, still here and now 39+1!

oinker- Must be good that you're not bleeding. Perhaps be nice for you to know on Tuesday what's going on more than anything. Hope you're taking it easy and resting.

My conjunctivitis has come back. My eyes are sooooo sore. Went to Boots to see if they could give me some eye drops and when the lady went to check, she said that she couldn't sell them to me because of me being pregnant. So it looks like I've got to spend the weekend bathing them and then it's off to the Drs first thing on Monday.

Hope everyone else is well.

HellKat · 22/04/2006 15:23

Wow Pet not long now!!! God I'm so over excited about meeting this little one lol. I have to stop thinking of how quickly the time's going otherwise I end up like a kid knowing it's going somewhere special Grin

I'm being a lazy mare today. Sat here, pottering around, drooling over dp. he's out in the garden in a vest strimming the lawn & cutting a tree. Lol sat here like a lovesick puppy thinking "Phwooarrrrrrrrrrrr". MMMMMMMMM.
Deffo pg hormones back in full force Wink.
Hope everyone's having a fab weekend.
Pet- sorry your eye's still bad. Surely there's wash that you can use for it. I know bathing it in warm water's meant to ease it slightly (plus they do that with newborns). Have a google on the net and see if there is anything else.
SLink- Ohhhhh I pity you hun! My backache came back earlier (thankfully not as bad as before). Dirty moo thinking about orgasms Wink lol. Got to be the warm weather too. I felt as frisky as a fridge (literally) recently but yesterday and today........ lol.

petunia · 22/04/2006 15:56

Hadn't thought about googling! By the looks of things, bathing is the only thing I can do and watch that I don't keep touching them- difficult when they itch!
Grin Wipe up that drool! Now why don't I feel like that? Oh I know, it's because I'm the size of a house!

HellKat · 22/04/2006 16:00

Lol up until now I've felt so crappy, fat, in pain etc but now I've got a very big, very rounded bump plus not having any pain the last couple of days, it's all helping lol. Oh yeah and I put fake tan everywhere (so everywhere looks passable instead of pasty white and covered in old stretchmarks lol )Wink

mygirllolipop · 22/04/2006 18:24

slink - I'm sorry I didn't realise you meant now re the anti-d, makes me more furious with the MW! I will email a list of useful websites when I find it but got stotting headache atm. not got yr email yet as came on here first! counting down to an orgasm eh? don't blame you.
oinker - roll on tue so that you know one way or the other. haven't got a clue about yr d/c tho.

twocatsonthebed · 22/04/2006 19:19

hello everyone,

a lot to catch up with!

oinker, wish I knew the answer, but all I know is that when I had my missed miscarriage it wasn't anything like that (clots more like liver, if we're still on the TMI here). I hope they can tell you something sensible on Tue... And if your dr signs you off, I would perhaps go for it. I'm signed off work at the moment, as feeling so shitty, really wasn't sure if I could without feeling guilty, but he said to me 'imagine how you'd feel if something went wrong'.

petunia - don't have any suggestions re the eyes, but hope it's getting better.

Slink- the las thing anyone needs is MWs like that - makes you wonder why that they get out of their work.

and HK - lol at those hormones. Still nice to know that they're going to more than just make me feel like death warmed up - something to look forward to at least!

My news is that I went for a nuchal scan on Fri - didn't say in advance in case I jinxed it (!) but all is well and despite being 40, I have the risks of a 31 year old, 1 in almost 600. So now I might almost believe in this pregnancy. Next step, telling everyone, although I don't think I've got the strength for it at the moment...

desperatehousewife · 22/04/2006 19:23

twocats, that's fantastic news about your nuchal. Well done!

cori · 22/04/2006 22:11

Ok, I am thinking Tuesday may be the best day for me.
I think I might pop into the hospital on Monday and ask to be monitored. Babies movement has slowed down considerably( I know this is normal at this stage) but I think paranoia is about to hit an all time high as it is exactly one year ago on Monday that I had the scan that revealed last baby had died. Am so close to my date, but need that last bit of reassurance.

Petunia, you need antibiotics for those eyes. The last thing you need when having a new born is conjunctivitis , imagine how easily it can be spread.

OP posts:
Arabica · 23/04/2006 00:00

Petunia, that sounds so nasty. Just in case you haven't seen it, here's \link{http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/articles/article.aspx?articleId=110&sectionId=6276\conjunctivitis info} from NHS online.
Tuesday's fine for me, Cori. I hope all goes well on Monday. I can totally understand your concern & am sure hospital will too. We seem to have sorted things out with our neighbours (phewwww!) and surprise surprise, am now feeling the baby move much more than in past couple of days!
Re bad backs, I have a strained sacro-iliac joint, which chiropractor says is a 'common pregnancy injury'. Which I found really insulting--can't I have an interesting or rare pregnancy injury?

HellKat · 23/04/2006 10:16

Morning all.
Twocats- Great news!!!!! Well done! You young thing you Wink. My other mc's (not missed ones) were like how you described, liver chuinks, heavy bright red blood & pain.
Cori- It's a mega worry I know. Now that I'm no longer worrying about mc I keep finding other stuff to worry about. Guess it's totally normal.

Hope everyone has a great day. x

oinker · 23/04/2006 10:23

Good morning ladies.....

Feeling Ok this morning. No d/c or any other perculiar matter falling out any of my orifices. Saying that, I did have a curry last night.. Shock Grin.

It's really drizzly here today... How horrible. Yesterday was lovely, got the sunburn to proove it. Smile

Hope your all feeling loads better today....

Slink, DON'T THINK ABOUT IT...... Go to church or something to get your mind of it. Grin

Did anyone else still get p/g symptoms after they had m/c?

twocatsonthebed · 23/04/2006 11:18

morning all!

Glad things are settling down oinker. I think the fact you've still got symptoms has got to be hopeful; when I miscarried, they went away very quickly (and I got a whole set of other ones instead, like raging headaches and extreme hormonal tearfulness).

Arabica - glad life with the neighbours has settled down. Do you have a kitchen yet?

Hope everyone else is OK. Drizzling here too, so can't even go and inspect the allotment!

mygirllolipop · 23/04/2006 12:51

Oinker- I had no symptoms at all the pg I mc'd.
Had booking in appointment this am. All was fine. Was told tho that the NHS no longer tells you the sex of the baby unless you book a seperate scan and pay £50. You could also go private to find out too. So investigating that atm.

petunia · 23/04/2006 14:09

Afternoon all,
Eyes are a lot better today. They're not red or watering at all so hopefully there won't be a visit to the Drs tomorrow. I will keep bathing them though. Being very busy today, DH and I are moving furniture round. Don't anyone say, "nesting!"

oinker- fingers crossed if you're still getting pg symptoms. Looking back on the pg I m/c, the symptoms went away about 10 days-2wks before the bleeding started. I just didn't feel pg any more.
mygirl- slightly Shock that you have to pay to find out the sex. Do you get a refund if they get it wrong?

Hope everyone else is having a nice afternoon.

mygirllolipop · 23/04/2006 15:50

Petunia - LOL! So do you think you are gonna have baby soon? Or do you still think you will be waiting ages?
Hope everyone else is well. Wonder if it's just my NHS trust that wont tell sex or if it's all, plus it must only be recent change as I found out with DD3.

petunia · 23/04/2006 16:13

The official due date that the midwife is going by is this Friday, but that's by scan (they seem to do dates by scan more now than when I had DDs) but by LMP, my due date would be this Wednesday. So having gone a wk over with DDs, I'm thinking it's going to be the Wednesday after next.

wools · 23/04/2006 17:46

Congratulatations Twocats on your nuchal - that's a great result - you must be delighted.

Glad to hear Oinker that the d/c has stopped and you still have your symptoms - I have high hopes for you.

Petunia, wow you are so close now - how exciting!

oinker · 23/04/2006 19:52

Mygirl...Glad all went well.

Is it me. Am I being thick? Isn't sunday a strange day to have your appointment on? What NHS trust are you with...
I agree with Petunia...Will they give you your money back should they get it wrong?
STRANGE

What a shitty day today... It has been horrible here in London. Let's hope it improves over the week. I have to hide away indoors to make sure my mother and sister do not spot me. GREAT. I haven't told them anything. I really can't be doing with the stress. At least if the weathers good I can sit in the garden and read. Smile

Arabica · 23/04/2006 19:53

Petunia, glad the eyes are getting better! When I had conjunctivitis I had some herbal ointment with goldenseal in it, but it was years ago so it could be something else entirely!
2cats, No--we won't have a kitchen for another week, but we might have a bathroom in next 3 days, fingers crossed. Borrowed someone's flat for the w/e and it was great to have baths, showers and do some clothes washing. They're quite useful things, kitchens!
Oinker, I never had symptoms or discharge of any kind when I had a missed m/c. I had to have the ERPC done afterwards and still had sore boobs and nausea for a couple of days afterwards. Thinking of you.
