My gorgeous lttle Aidan was (finally) born at 6.29 am on Monay 17th November, weighing in at 3.7 k.

I'll bore you all with the details on the 'birth announcements'.

Oh brilliant Monkey, I am pleased to hear from you. Congratulations! No, nothing doing here but ds goes to his dad's this evening for the weekend so I've got it in my head that I'm having this one tonight or tomorrow sometime. Have to collect ds at 3.30 and hope I can hang on til ex dh comes to get him at about 8pm ish tonight...Let's hope I'm right, thanks for the good luck, will post as soon as it's over! Rhubarb, hope they got your blood OK and your iron levels are ok. You must be 37 weeks now, nearly there!

WWW - how are you?

Hi Rhubarb, I'm 3 days overdue and peed off and have had enough. I know it's only 3 days but I sort of didn't expect it to be, plus MIL and mother have both used the word Induce, which annoyed me, I mean it is ONLY 3 days! I alternate between terrified and confident. Really want it over with. Pupuce, am having the odd glass of wine and sex but still nothing doing yet. Am really, really hoping it'll be tonight. At this rate I'll be so relieved to go into labour I might forget to be scared

I've just searched for your posts www - after being here at 4am yesterday, then no word, I was beginning to think something was happening. It will hapen soon enoough - don't worry. Have you tried lots of nipple twiddling?

A nice long walk, WWW. Waiting is hell, isn't it! I was 7 days overdue w/ DD and was induced. I thought I'd go crazy. Good luck!!!

Hello everyone. Now its nearly the end of Nov and still only 4 babies!! hope it happens really soon www, I know if I so much as get to my due date (looking increasingly likely) I will be in a total panic about the I-word so can relate to how you're feeling.
Two weeks ago I thought it was all very imminent but seems to have settled down again now. It's ds's birthday on Friday, and now we are so close to it I hope it stays put until next week! Alternating between excited impatience and terrified denial

How are the newborns? Please someone start the thread!!!

I might just be next - booked in for my c-sec on Thursday morning - aggghhhh

WWW, hopefully it's happening now. Elliott, didn't realize you were coming up so soon. And Grommit, I'm envious that you actually have the date. I would prefer that to all the waiting, but then again, didn't really like being induced as I was last time. . . .

Nah, still here. Sex, pineapple, glass of wine and a float about in my birthing pool are my things to try tonight. Grommit, I sincerely hope I beat you but if not, good luck for Thursday. Elliott, know the feeling - every time ds goes to school I think COME ON THEN! and everytime I'm in the car on the way to collect him I think "No, hang on at least until his bedtime" so I hope it happens before the party or after. When are you due again? We're so close to the end of Nov and it really doesn't seem like many babies does it? Good luck to everyone on this thread.
