Friz, can't believe that you are still in normal clothes (even if it is only 1 pair!) Mine had all gone by the time I was about 12 weeks, Mind you, I was eating like a horse!

Rom, glad the stick seems to be helping. I bet you smell nice anyway. Anyone put in an offer over the weekend?

Nemo, your day out sounds fab, so glad Adam enjoyed it. Thanks for the Brownie (now sitting here with virtual choccy all round my mouth!!)

Well rubbish sleep for me for 3 days now so I'm having a catch up day at home. I'm so tired I don't think it's safe for me to get in the car so have knocked work on the head and planning on staying in my PJs for most of the day.

george32 · 03/10/2005 10:23

Oh bo***cks.
Sorry, ignore that, don't tell Kangel that it's me.
Thank god I'm not at work. No brain here at all today. This changing name lark is obviously too complicated for me
So annoyed with myself for that.

Nemo666 · 03/10/2005 10:25

pmsl george..i did think it was either you or dq..lmao

george32 · 03/10/2005 10:26

Is there anyway of getting the name changed on the message that you know of Nemo?
I'm such a dunce this morning.

munz · 03/10/2005 10:29

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 10:38

DH was at docs this morning and been told light duties for 7 days, he's at physio right now so hoping they sign him off because i just cant cope AT ALL right now.... im in too much pain. Cant sleep properly, because turning is like a military operation, and with Jess teething, neither of us are very happy!

Hoep all ok with the rest of you.... Munz, was it a good weekend? You were very quiet xxx

Frizbe · 03/10/2005 11:12

Ta for the tea Munz, had a nice oat and raisen bicky to go with it!

George Lol!

I think I'm sticking to Xmas names myself! well got lots of nice sleep last night, so am much happier today! so far fighting fit, downstairs hoovered, two loads of washing done already, with another one in, dreading how much that's going to go up with another child in the house! my life as a drudge..... have written out dd's birthday invites, so now just have a whole days worth of work to get thru! which is why I'm obviously on here avoiding it

Hi to all, hope the house is selling Rom?

Frizbe · 03/10/2005 11:15

Oh George, forgot to mention am now in my fat bird clothes which are currently a bit loose at the start of the day, being those bloomin under bump trousers...nearly lost them in sainsburys this am

munz · 03/10/2005 11:49

friz - FB clothes! lol.

JM - i'm fine thanks hon, had a bit of a bad weekend - feeling v under the weather only a cold coming on but as DH was working I couldn't be arsed to get off hte sofa and drag myself away form Christopher Eccleston! lol. (also mega poopie probs!) how was things at ur dads? 3 more sleeps till we find out about the promotion - am really hoping - althou knowing our lot the pay won't be right till march next year when they'll work out we owe them.

our kettle's broken down so on with the milk for now! lol.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 03/10/2005 11:54

well.... not signed off.... bloody physio have lost his paperwork so were treating him for his knee today rather than his back, so he has had to go in to work.

Im here on my own with a grumpy toddler and i just want to go to bed!

Oh well.... will have to see how it goes this afternoon and if necessary ill fake labour so DH doesnt have to go to work tomorrow!

sweetkitty · 03/10/2005 12:39

aww JABM thought this would have been the weekend for you!

Will have to admit defeat and get out the fat clothes, jeans are getting far too tight, still 25 weeks is good enough. DP is off this week so he is attacking our waist height grass then I'm going to paint DDs room, pink of course, it's her first proper room so am v excited about it. Have a list of jobs for DP to do this week too don't want him taking it too easy!

Am very happy we are having another little girl, think 2 girls close in age will be lovely although I'm sure a boy would have been lovely too. Poor DP he is getting well outnumbered now!

george32 · 03/10/2005 12:45

Argh, not another one .
Friz, Sweetkitty, please put on your fat clothes now (says she, sitting in maternity joggers - glamorous as ever!!)

Sorry you had a rough weekend Munz, hope you feel better this week.

LOL at J&BM starting a fake labour. How do you do that? Will you be moaning & groaning in the background whilst he calls work then?

munz · 03/10/2005 13:09

jm - sorry about ur DH, try plonking bellamory on and seeing if she'll watch whilst u sleep. she has my sympathy thou wiht teeth coming thru, it's sore enough for me and wisdom one's god know's what it's like for kids! lol.

Cadmum · 03/10/2005 13:19

Hello all!

Glad to see that you have all been chatty and enjoying tea and brownies in may absence. I would love to tell you that I had a fab week-end with DH but alas, I was sick with D & V... How is that reasonable? Shortly after my last post, we headed to a big mall to try and find some maternity clothes and before I had even selected anything I had to leave the chiddlers with DH and run for the loo or risk being sick on his shoes...

I thought it might be a one-off but a few moments later (in a change room with DD) I had to find DH again. I thought I might need to spend the night in the mall because I couldn?t imagine making it home without either being sick or worse! Eventually, the NEED to be home in bed swept over me and we raced home. DH took the little ones out for their tea and I didn?t even get back out of bed until Saturday.

We spent the day at Upper Canada Village (where they wear period costumes and explain life in our country in the 1860s). I had promised the children that we would go or else I would never have opted for the 2 hour drive. The original plan was to find a nice B&B but I really needed to sleep in my own bed so we drove back home at the end of the day.

Sunday morning, I dragged myself round Superstore while DH took the children to a local farm. It was amazing how quickly I raced through the aisles and filled the trolley; I can?t remember the last time I went by myself. DH met up with a friend and his daughter to play mini-golf with the kids in the afternoon and I slept.

Sorry for moaning again. I am still trying to decide if it was better or worse to have him home while I was sick.

Munz, Hope you are feeling better.

munz · 03/10/2005 13:23

cad - sounds much better - althou u didn't relaly see him at least he took the kids out for u so u could rest in peace.

when's he home next?

Cadmum · 03/10/2005 13:30

I don?t actually know... He should know about the permanent position by the end of the month and then regardless we are looking to move down there at the beginning/middle of November.

How are you feeling?

munz · 03/10/2005 13:32

good today thanks - managed to go to the loo which was the main prob - my colds tend to be first thing and last thing at night - unless it's a W/E.

are u packing then for the move/looking at houses?

Cadmum · 03/10/2005 13:32

As my final moan: The house is even MORE of a tip than when DH arrived. ARGH!

munz · 03/10/2005 13:33

lol - don't worry hon MEN!!!!!!

Cadmum · 03/10/2005 13:35

The UN will pack/move us so I haven?t even lifted a finger. DH has not looked for a house because his contract clearly ends at the end of October so no land-lord in their right mind would rent us a house with that! Thankfully, I am not really in any hurry. This last couple of weeks have been really horrible and I need to find that second trimester energy before I can contemplate a move.
