Rom, sickness was a 'feature' of my last labour, so hoping it is this time too!!

Munz, so far just mild cramping for me really, but I tend to have more of a backache labour as womb is tilted....probably what keeps bubbas in there for longer too!! Soooo hoping I kick off tonight/tomorrow night and avoid all the fuss of consultants, induction etc.....

oh cadmum! just seen this, you go girl, heres hoping your labour is all over and done with and gorgeous newborn in your arms right now. cant wait to hear the news. (I feel abit old as seems just the other day you were newly pg...)

Hi Bella how are you doing? Congratulations on your 12 weeks :). I'm excited for you that your scan is tomorrow, when is your appointment morning or afternoon?

How are you feeling? I really don't feel very different I occasionally get heart burn, and on the days I am in work, I get to 3 and could so easily fall asleep at my desk.

Fingers crossed we'll hear from CadDad really soon.

Rom and Friz how are you doing? actually better go and check if there is a post from friz on the birth announcements or march threads I hope she is cuddling her new little one right now.

can't believe that my scan is toorrow! its at 1pm - very excited / nervous!!

yes the tiredness is a killer isn't it! Its a bit like having a hangover when you know you just need to sleep and you will feel better.

I think I have defnately felt more pregnnat in the last couple of weeks. urge to pee is a nightmare and I am off all sorts of food.

Just can't wait to hear about Friz and Cad!!

Just dropping in, whilst Jakey is asleep, to wish you well for tomorrow Bella.
I just know that everything will be fine and it will suddenly all become very real - how exciting!

Hello Mumsnutters...

Cadmum is ready to come home so I better get on with all the chores, including posting the fact that our newest arrival has indeed arrived. Charlie was born Saturday at 1247 AM, so thankfully doesn't share a BD with DD. Weighed in at 6lb 13oz/3090g...so much for IUGR and the need for induction!!!!!!!!!!
Cadmum is fine, if a little livid about having to stay in the Horror-spital, but I'll not spoil her fun. She'll no doubt regale you with all the details as soon as she is back. Best of luck to all of you who are waiting!

Neve born today (saturday 4th) 10.58am, 8lbs 11oz, pool and gas & air... no tears or anything!

Sorry for the lack of contact... Not quite the ideal birth story but the perfect ending.

DH made the logical assumption that since we discussed CM, BD and the like that I would also have shared our name choices. Charlie is actually Charlotte Eveline Ann. She was not so icle either but that is the smallest issue I have with the whole American Birth Experience at this point.

Charlotte is so beautiful and an amazing feeder. We are all in love and enjoying a baby-moon. DD is delighted to be DD1 as she could only barely to dream that she might have a little sister. my mum took the children out shopping to choose a coming home outfit and Charlie was head to toe PINK! I promise to ost a picture when DH is back from Vienna on Wednesday.

what wonderful wonderful news to start a monday morning with. as everyone has said, both beautiful names. i had actually been tempted by charlie for a girl, as i love charlotte and think charlie is cute - boy or girl it is still in our short-list (which is v. v. short anyway!)
