Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MeAndMyBoy · 25/02/2006 11:19

Thank you . I was fairly sure myself but you never know until the blue line appears.

How are you doing? how's little one any more contractions?

MeAndMyBoy · 25/02/2006 11:20

It just occured to me that you were up very early.

Cadmum · 25/02/2006 11:29

Congratulations!!! Brilliant news. What did your dh say?

I was still uncomfortable through dinner last night but nothing since I got up this morning. I think that the less than gentle internal may have just irritated my cervix. I am in no state to go into labour so as long as the LO is happy in there then I think that it is for the best.

DH is working 14+ hours a day and I am already dragging all three of our children to the 3 appointments that I have each week. I just cannot imagine having to go to the hospital by myself (or worse--with them in tow since I can seldom reach DH at work) so if I don't kick off over the week-end then I hope to hold on until Wednesday when my parents arrive.

I am SO excited for you!!!!

DH is chuffed to bits - has that proud MAN look about him IKWIM. I'm kind of nervous excited.

I'm glad things have settled down for you cause I know you are having such a tough tough time at the moment. Will DH be able to reduce his work hours once LO arrives or is that why your parents are coming over so that you get some support? How's your mum doing since her heart op?

I'm seeing my friends tonight for a girlie pamper night and I have NO idea how I'm going to keep it to myself. Don't want to say anything just yet.

MeAndMyBoy · 25/02/2006 11:40

Sorry Cadmum I have to scoot. We need to go out.

DH is laughing at me as it is cause I've come on here so quickly to tell you all.

Take care and hope today is ok for you. I'll catch up with you later.

Had to take her to local walk in centre this morning as she was having trouble breathing when she coughed due to this bug. Turns out she now has a chest infection poor baby has antibiotics.

Bella23 · 25/02/2006 13:06

OH MY GOD ME&MB - fab news, congrats....woo hoo

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 25/02/2006 14:28

Quick update from camp MUNZ.....

Things arent too good, she has got an infection and is seriously aneamic. She has had a 4pts of blood and is on antibiotics.

Joey is doing well though, but feeding is a bit hit and miss, she is still perservering though so fingers crossed things will get better.

Probably be home from hospital on Monday now due to the blood and infection, but she knows its for her own good.

Will pass on any messages xx

MeAndMyBoy · 25/02/2006 15:32

Oh my goodness poor munz that's horrible. I had a blood transfusion after DS and it left me feeling really tired. Please send her my love and hope she feels brighter soon. Sounds like she's doing brilliantly with the feeding too - it's so hard when you feel crap.

Thanks for all the congratulations as well . So excited . While we were out Dh kept referring to me as 'you two'!!

Rom, congrats on the exchange!

Well I'm bound to give birth tonight, just cause I've been out and brought a live (its a plant!) present for my Great Grans 93rd birthday, which is on Monday (my edd!), but we're doing a family tea thing tomorrow for her, so thought it may be a good thing to tempt fate as it were will obviously let you know the outcome..

georgeandwigglyjake · 26/02/2006 12:16

Huge congratulations M&MB, what wonderful news.

I hope Munz is OK, I will have a look at the other thread but sending my best wishes to her for a speedy recovery.

Hope the antibiotics have kicked in for Hannah Nemo. Poor thing.
Did I see you mention that Hannah moves around the floor at 10wks? Wow! Don't think Jakey will take too long about moving he is itching to be off, just can't quite get the limbs moving yet!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
xx

Frizbetheexpansionset · 26/02/2006 12:33

Hi George I'm still lurking around, off out soon tho!!

Well looks like I may be the last person on the Feb thread, Jas's waters seem to have gone, so happy for her as she's 41+1 today, Helen had a huge show on Sat and hasn't posted since, she's on no3, so could well have dropped and Thell had a show begining of last week and hasn't posted for a while, so have a feeling I'm the last ah well, had a feeling I would be......just a shame for ss, as he goes back to his mums tomorrow am, and would have like him to have seen his new baby sis/bro.....never mind eh....

Nemo, hope the drugs are working on Hannah too x

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 26/02/2006 15:49

Further update....

Munz and Joey should have been home today, however Joey is still Jaundiced so they have put him in an incubator with UV light for 24 hours.

Hoping for them to be home tomorrow.

They have had a rough ride, but fingers crossed things will get better.

Cadmum · 26/02/2006 20:05

Thanks for the update.

Munz: My heart really foes out to you and your little man. Having narrowly escaped a blood transfusion myself, I can't imagine how horrific you must be feeling. All three of our little ones were very jaundiced and it can be worrying and stressful especially when you are trying to establish breast feeding. I really hopw that you are able to take care of and be kind to yourself. Hope to see you back to your chipper self ASASP. As for now, you and Joseph are in the best place to be. Recover quickly so that you can come back and chat!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 26/02/2006 20:07

No news your end then caders?!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 26/02/2006 20:33

Hi J&R's mummy thanks for the updates on Munzie n Joseph, hope they're 100% on the mend and out by tomorrow night!

Cadmum, how you feeling today, take it that bubbas hanging in there waiting for its Gran to get to NYC

No news here, edd tomorrow, harharhar....

Cadmum · 26/02/2006 21:18

i so hope that now that we have made it through the week-end (our last chance for a back-up sitter until Wednesday) that baby holds off until my parents arrive.

I am feeling really really stressed about their arrival as I always find them very judgemental and I am fully aware that my situation is not ideal without having my nose rubbed in it (IYKWIM).

I am so excited that we will have real beds to sleep in tomorrow night and a real sofa to sit on in the evening that I may never get up again.

DH is off to Vienna for an interview on the 6th so the consultant had better not change the induction plan or I will have to rely on my mum for support and I can't really imagine that going brilliantly. As it stands, if the baby is still content on Tuesday's scan and NST then I will be induced Thursday morning as they still think that out is better than in.

My poor DD is 7 on Friday and really hopes that the baby will have its own birthdate and that I will be home to celebrate her birthday by Saturday at the latest. Sure hope to be able to make both possible. ( I do like the ring of 03/03/06 as a birthdate though... Still, I will be happier with o2/03/06 for DD's sake.) Who am I fooling? i will be happiest with a healthy baby born whenever but preferably once my parents are here to help with the older children.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 27/02/2006 08:18

Cadmum, much good luck for Thursday then, just in case I don't get on here, due to giving birth, har, har, har......(Happy due date to me, etc) Really hope things go well for you, that baby hangs on that long, as you have enough to contend with already!
Hope your furniture arrives ok today and you get to use if for a few days before hospital...

Hi to everyone else, Nemo how's your little one doing?

MeAndMyBoy · 27/02/2006 09:42

Morning

Cadmum I'm glad that you've made it through the weekend and hope that you get to Thursday. Enjoy your new bed and sofa when they arrive :). Hope your parents are able to bite their tongues and just help you. You don't need criticism right now, well any time, but right now especially. Hugs to you, and Fingers crossed to DH for his interview.

Friz hang in there it will happen soon. Happy due date to you :). Sending you lots of labour vibes.

Nemo sorry I haven't been in touch for a bit I'll mail you tonight.
