jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 06:16

munz had her baby!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 23/02/2006 09:24

No DQ we don't I have completly tailed off, must have been the midwife saying she was on call Fri and Sat and doesn't like giving pethadine, at which point I pointed out I have lots in my fridge and will be having it all!

Anyway I have to say HUGE CONGRATS to Munz and her new family, thanks to J&R's Mummy for doing a birth announcement and keeping a check on our Munzie all night!

Caddy how's things with you, still crampy, at least you got a sweap!

Room42, not a clue on swollen ankles, but congrats on your wedding!

Hi to everyone else, Rom I hope logging on today isn't too much of a shock for you, what with Munz n all that

dramaqueen72 · 23/02/2006 09:41

aw friz, hang in there girlie. thinkimg of you and cadmum too.........

Bella23 · 23/02/2006 09:49

OMG - Munz had a baby !! Sorry I get easily shocked - woohoo

DQ - good to hear from you, lovely top hear Daisy is snoozing, would love to be doing that myself rather than being here at work!!

Well 11 weeks tomorrow....could I really be going to make it this time, I sooooo hope so!

Rom and Cadmum - lordy, does it make you feel like time is a ticking!!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 23/02/2006 11:16

I'm now willing to take bets Cadmum and Rom have their babies before me! I'm soooo going overdue again....

Cadmum · 23/02/2006 12:53

I am still here... Off to read all about Munz. Still really crampy and starting to get painful so I was up for most of the night worrying about how I am going to manage labour and delivery on my own... EEEK, just really want to hold off till the week-end as we have had offers from people to take the kids then.

Can't wait to read all about Munz's LO....!!!!

romilly · 23/02/2006 14:23

ohmigod!!!! friz you are so right - i miss one day of logging on and just look at all the action i've missed

well miss munzie! i have been searching around on all the various threads and hope i have posted my huge congratulations to you and mr. munz on the fabulous news. welcome to baby munz - unnamed as yet i believe!
big (((((((hugs)))))))))) to you hun and hope you are taking it as easy as you can with a newbie to look after as well now.

so friz, caddy, its us next.... just had my midwife appt. and she was disappointed that my babe is still stubbornly not shifting from her favoured o/p (posterior) position. she told me to carry on doing the all fours and do everything i can to not be induced. so its raspberry leaf tea, acupuncture, pineapple, curries, and rampant sex on the menu for me this week. what a combination!

room4two - congrats on the identical twins! swollen ankles, you just have to live with them i'm afraid - it helps to put your feet up now and then - you could try acupuncture too - that helped mine go down i think.

hi DQ, george, nemo & J&BM, lovely to hear from you busy mums.

romilly · 23/02/2006 14:27

what i meant munzie, is that i hope i have posted on all the right threads! seem to be a few out there, what with you being such a popular m'netter!

bella - didnt mean to miss you out - lol @ the rugger buggers comment, yup it is a bit like that - but it is convenient for me so i grin and bear it!!!

hi handbag and harri also!

Cadmum · 23/02/2006 14:28

So you are still around rom! I will be talking to my friend who is a reflexologist for advice as we both seem to be in a similar state. this little LO is posterior and nowhere near engaged but the think she needs to be born soonish and I dread an induction.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 14:30

Rom... there is the show/waters thread, an announcement on birth announcements and 2 pics in member profiles......

Ive just ordered her some flowers over the internet to be delivered saturday as she is staying in again tonight for the rest!

romilly · 23/02/2006 14:49

thanks J&RM (i always forget and still call you bumpsmummy! sorry rebecca!)

cadmum - it worries me that you dread it, because you are the expert here and i have no idea what i am in for! then again maybe ignorance is bliss..?!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 14:59

Rom... Calm down, you will be fine!

Cads... get moving woman!!!

Would let you know all the gory details from Munz's birth, but ill let her tell you herself.... oh and i probably havent got all the details because you know what husbands can be like - especially over-excited army ones!!!

He is the spit of his mum though (i think so anyway) and totally divine. Cant WAIT til she is home for a proper natter!

Cadmum · 23/02/2006 15:51

Sorry to scare you Rom... I know better. Nemo seems like a much better person to talk to about induction. My experience still gives me the chills and the similarities (small for dates/ BP issues) are scaring me more than anything, really.

The truth is that once the baby is safely in your arms all else seems to fade into oblivion... (Hence the reason I am expecting our fourth (after 7 attempts!) I promise you that it will be much better than I am making it sound.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 16:14

Rom..... if you want advice about induction, just yell.

I was induced with Jessica in July 2004 so im sure it hasnt changed too much - i found it a positive experience tbh, and i went through it by choice!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 23/02/2006 18:00

Will go and check that thread for photos now J&R'sMummy!

Cadmum and Rom, sure both of you will be ok, your babes will turn, sending you lots of turning thoughts

romilly · 23/02/2006 19:20

thanks so much friz for the turning thoughts
and J&RM (got it right) for being so reassuring. i shall think positive thoughts from now on too.

room4two · 23/02/2006 21:21

hello ladies, just wondering if it was true that you don't go full term with twins, and also i found out i was having triplets but i lost one 5 weeks ago and wasn't told the hospital didn't pick it up, ive still got the sac in my stomach will i have to give birth to that too???

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 21:21

On behalf of Munz and her DH, I am proud to announce the name of the little bundle.........

GUESSES WELCOME!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 23/02/2006 22:05

WHAT????????

Jake? have they gone back to it??

Room4two, most people are encouraged to give birth with twins by about 35 weeks, from what I can gather, if their bodies hold out that long, think its usually 33-35 weeks for 'full term' twins, don't know anyone whose gone over that, but there may well be, the multiple threads would be the best place to ask about for info I think.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 22:09

nope, not jake.....

keep guessing!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 23/02/2006 22:13
