Here you go girls!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
munz · 22/02/2006 09:01

lol - I don't want to friz - I'm planning on getting my hair cut taking the car to the garage having tescos delivered my date with DH! I don't have time for labour till sat morning! lol.

Nemo1977 · 22/02/2006 09:06

munz see now there is the flaw...you had a lot of things planned

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:06

May I suggest vaguely timing cramps then, could just be practice ones, and seeing if you have a clear out, if you do, avoid hairdressers at all cost

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:06

Nemo your right, I must plan the next few weeks to the hilt!

munz · 22/02/2006 09:07

timing timing - what's that no contractions that was last night when the baby decided to try and claw his way out! lol - didn't time anything today it's just a dull ache constantly.

m/w is engaged deli suite isn't answering and DH - well no one can find him in work so i've left an urgent message.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:13

Constant dull ache, get on all fours lass, that'll help with that, over the old ball if you have one (jigsaws n coffe tables that was you wasn't it?) see if it goes then comes back.

munz · 22/02/2006 09:14

yep, that was me! lol. ok will try to calm down - still can't get thru to any one gonna try the del suite.

sweetkitty · 22/02/2006 09:19

sounds like a baby is on it's way

Cadmum · 22/02/2006 09:21

Just left a quick message on the other thread. Hope you have managed to get through to someone for your own peace of mind...

georgeandwigglyjake · 22/02/2006 09:32

Oooh, all exciting here this morning I see!
Hope you are OK Munz. Does sound like a bit of a show although when mine finally all came out I was amazed how much there was - made me feel a bit foolish for thinking the bit I'd seen was all if it Mine appeared after a trickle of water too although mine was wee! I did go into labour shortly after - does that make you feel better or worse I wonder!

Cadmum, hope you get on OK at your appointment today. I'd love to see the scan picture if you can post it. I'm sure it's a boy for you so bank on it being a girl!!

LOL Rom, by the time you are on the ward you might be wondering if it is worth paying the £750 if it is anywhere near as noisy as mine. I think the drugs must have got to me as I still am not sure why I didn't get a private room (and they are only £70 here!). Make sure you get your DH to bring you some nice food in - sandwiches & chips are staple up here, not exactly what I was hoping for

Friz, you DH sounds like an angel to me. I have been living off choccy biscuits as DP can only do a sunday roast, bit rich for everyday I think. Now when are you going to start thinking about having this baby?

Not long to go for you Bella, that 12 week scan will be here before you know it. I ate so much for the first 40 weeks of p/g!! (Still am )

Doing OK here, bit of a cough/cold/sore throat thing going on but nothing too bad. Jake seems to be turning into a little gem of a boy. Lots of sleep at night at the moment (he's probably coming down with a cold!!) and wonderfully chatty and cheery in the day. Still b/f and with no pain now - woo hoo! You must buy a tube of Lansinoh cream if you are planning to b/f, it's great stuff - helps with chapped lips too

Cadmum · 22/02/2006 09:52

As it is still only 4:50 am here, I should take my own advice and try to get some rest.

Can't wait to read your story munz!

Bella23 · 22/02/2006 10:01

OOOOOH Munz ????sounds like there might be a baby on the way???..am so excited for you!!

George ? good to hear from you. Yes time seems to be going ok at the moment ? now I know that I have a scan on the horizon. This week seems to zipping by and then only one more week to wait ? ye ha !! DH is practising lots of positive visualisation for this beanie and apparently bathing me in a yellow light cocoon????.you see this baby lark even turns grown men in to raving loons???arh bless!!

Cadmum ? how are you feeling today? Hopefully managing to keep nice and calm. Must admit to giggling about Friz?s comment about you being sectioned. Not being up on the whole pregnancy terminology I too thought at first she meant under the mental health act!!

DQ ? how is it going honey?

Rom ? oooh Westminster & Chelsea?..I bet there were quite a few rugby shirt types there?

Friz ? love it when a woman starts talking about hind waters??..shudder?

munz · 22/02/2006 10:42

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 10:44

Nite caddy, get some well earned rest if you can for an hour or two hon

George, I'm trying but Munz has beaten me too it! It's us lazy girls in our family we like staying in bed......why is it boys are always out early??

MeAndMyBoy · 22/02/2006 10:47

Wow exciting stuff Munz - have my fingers crossed for you, hope you have managed to get hold of someone and DH has been found lol.

Cadmum hope that you've managed to get some rest and maybe even back to sleep - hope things go well today for you (which ever way you would like that to be).

Hi George lovely to hear about Jake, hope all the cold/sore throat type things clear up soon for you.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 16:16

Oh I'm so hopeing we both are M&@MB, I've been to midwife, but wasn't my usual one, or I'd have asked her to check she did say I appear to be ready to rock as far as heads engaged etc, and my backache could be a good sign, but she also reminded me these 2nd ones can be a bugger....will have to wait and see!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 22/02/2006 16:16

Good luck friz.... fingers crossed you and Cadmum are next!

MeAndMyBoy · 22/02/2006 16:38
