bella - great news about the scan you can always go to a different hospital if you want, thats what i did.

munz honey - what did you mean by GD on other thread? got me worried now!

MeAndMyBoy · 10/01/2006 19:42

Well the reason I couldn't preview was because our internet connection was in the process of giving up - tut I mean don't they know there's MNing to be done .

Bella fingers crossed for your scan.

Friz I'm glad the car seats fitted that's a headache sorted. Did the people you were expecting to come out today arrive eventually?

Excellent that you're stand in has been sorted Munz - does that mean you have to spend the next 5 or 6 weeks training now then?

munz · 10/01/2006 19:47

rom - got back to u hon, nothing to worry about, hope all goes well for ur scan, didn't want to worry u.

MMB - na, the lady in question is away from this thurs to the 3rd feb so she'll start on the 6th and I leave on the 10th so only a week - but it will be a hellish week without MN!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 10/01/2006 21:20

M&MB yes thanks!! now have new oven as well, pizza again soon!!

MeAndMyBoy · 11/01/2006 08:43

Phew Munz at least it's only a week, I'd got visions of you having to survive between now and your leaving date without MN!!

Is there any pizza left Friz?

Have a good day everyone.

munz · 11/01/2006 09:05

no heven forbid it!

friz - ahy what flavour pizza have u got??

sweetkitty · 11/01/2006 09:11

Morning everyone just scanning through all the new messages, am 39+4 days today and totally fed up, I'm exhausted and the SPD/SI pain coupled with all the BHs and aches and pains is wearing me down, need to get this baby out soon. Have been trying everything but think she will come when she's ready. Got all the equipment here for my homebirth now as well.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Tabs · 11/01/2006 11:58

Munz - surely you'll have to show her MN - it is a vital part of your working day afterall!

For anyone who remembers teuch from the ttc threads, she's just announced on Feb thread that she's had a baby boy a few weeks earlier than expected!

romilly · 11/01/2006 14:49

lol tabs

munz · 11/01/2006 15:30

rom - how r u doing at the mo hon?

sk - hope it's not too long for u.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 11/01/2006 16:40

Hope your all ok?

Nemo1977 · 11/01/2006 19:18

hello all
hope your all ok.
I havent been feeling too hot lately as depression is starting to kick in again despite being on antidepressants already. so today my little sister decided to take me out for a treat and paid for me to have my hair cut. I havent had it done in over 2 yrs so really is a rare occurance for me..lol Must admit was nice to be pampered etc and she sat with the kids in the shop with me then we went for a walk around town and managed to pick up quite a few bargains. Ages since I have had any money to spend so to go out with £40 and come back with bag loads was super..lol Both kiddies of course came back spoilt too as adam had been given £30 of boots vouchers for xmas so he got a couple of toys and I bought hannah some clothes in their sale. Start back with psychologist tommorow which i am not looking forward to and also got hv in the afternoon.

MeAndMyBoy · 11/01/2006 22:54

Oh Nemo I'm so sorry that the depression is kicking in - inspite of your meds. It's shit isn't it. anything in particular about going to see the physic (I called mine the silly women) that you're not looking forward to or just in general?

I've had PND so can relate. If you want to please CAT me.

Cadmum · 12/01/2006 14:12

Nemo: I am so sorry that you are feeling low. It is so difficult when you have money worries and little people to care for 24/7 isn't it? I have only teetered on the edge of depression when the situation is more resposible than actual chemical imbalance but I certainly don't envy you. I hope that speaking to someone helps more than the meds. I am glad that you feel able to tell us how you are feeling because I have a really good friend who kept it all inside for months and she was really in misery. We are here to listen and help in any little way possible.

Sorry for the quick post following a day of nothing but things are rather hectic here at the moment (as I am sure that you can all imagine ).

As for the open invitation to come to New York: You are all welcome any time!!! We love to have company and are getting to know our way around quite well. By the time our babies are old enough to travel with, we will be excellent tour guides!

Bella23 · 12/01/2006 14:49

Nemo - so sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell. Not really got any pearls of wisdom, just wanted to send you a hug and to say that the pampering sounds a step in the right direction, well deserved xx

romilly · 12/01/2006 16:14

hi girls. nemo - (((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) to you honey, really sorry to hear you have been feeling down. glad that your sister is looking after you and that you are seeing someone about it soon. do loads more of the pampering stuff when you possibly can! as everyone else has said we are always here to listen if you need us.

munz - i am doing ok, but i do feel quite knackered most of the time. thank god i'm not working - not long til you stop now hon. (i am a LOT older than you remember so i dont have the stamina of you young 'uns!!)

friz - not long for you now, i see you have shrunk on the TP measurements - baby dropping down maybe?

that is great news about teuch - it'll be SK next then.

caddy: thanks for the invite, but sadly i cant see any trips to NY in the foreseeable future - much as i would love to! i always spend WAY too much money in that city, lol....

bella - how are you feeling? i guess its about a fortnight until your scan right?

george - is jake letting you get any sleep in now?
DQ - it is really good to hear that you are enjoying those night time feeds! you are so right about remembering how very lucky we all are.

well we are hoping that we wont be moving until after the baby is born - knowing how slow the whole exhange process usually is, plus the place needs some work (new kitchen and bathroom etc.) so i am not going to budge until it is all ready!

romilly · 12/01/2006 16:17

p.s. munzie - you asked me about erotic dreams - lol - well i have been having some pretty bizarre dreams but unfortunately they are not remotely erotic, so i dont know how that stacks up in your girl/boy theory?!!

sweetkitty · 12/01/2006 17:13

hi all no news here still loads kicking off in the Due in Jan thread though

Nemo - sorry to hear you are feeling so low, hope things settle down for you soon. Take care of yourself.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 12/01/2006 19:30

SK your due Sat aren't you? sure you'll be on time hon, its a pain waiting when all around seem to be sprogging like flies tho isn't it!

Nemo, sure all will be ok with psych, its good that you recognise your issues and are dealing with them, much respect Also very glad you had a nice pamper and did some good shopping, you can't beat a bit of retail therapy as they say!!

Rom, unsure if bump dropping, or just lying in a different position! that been said, after aquanatal today, have been feeling very pressured low down, so may be heading down!

romilly · 12/01/2006 20:06

ooooh friz!!! - is that the aquanatal tea & chatting exercise class then? lol. you are very brave donning a swimsuit now, i wouldnt go near one at the moment

its back to the sofa with my green & blacks hot chocolate and celebrity big brother for me tonight....(just like last night...and the one before that....and the one before that!)

Frizbetheexpansionset · 12/01/2006 20:08

ah another BB addict no Rom, the aqua is actually quite a workout on my poor system, they do good breathing exercises at the end as well, so a whole hours work! but they do then offer you a nice cuppa, to put some strength back into you afterwards. phew!

munz · 12/01/2006 20:11

god u guys don't watch that do u!? lol.

rom - i'm with u on the swim suit! lol - not till i'm back to shape is my booody going public again! lol.

friz - looking good for u then if baby's heading south! can't wait for mine to head southwards - might be able to breath then!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 12/01/2006 20:20

ah but your in the pool with loads of other preggie ladies also, so not so bad, is a far worse experience taking dd for her weekly swimming lesson, when I'm the only whale in there with lots of nice slim mums!

munz · 12/01/2006 20:22

nemo - glad ur retail threapy went well, and you know anytime u're feeling a bit down u can rant on to us and we'll support u

rom - 21 days for me - but who's counting! lol. not sure ont eh errotic thing now as apparently my friend's being v sick with it - they couldn't hear anything today and she's ment to be 12+3 so off for a scan on tues to see how things are. so the dreams make me think boy but the sickness is girl - unless any of u girls had megas sickness with boys?

cads - we'll be over at some point! lol. (I want that mansion house!) lol.

SK - fingers crossed for u for the w/e hon.

munz · 12/01/2006 20:25

lol, didn't think of that! - do u guys know how soon u can take a baby inott he pool after being born? apparently in our local pool they do baby swimming or soemthing or other, just wondered if I'd have to wait till LO's had all his jabs.
