cadmum - lovely news about your SIL. my brother was told he was having a girl, and out popped his first son - all boy!

Nemo, awww that's so cute hope it gets around to snowing here too! we had a few flakes earlier, so fingers x'd!
To answer you dd was a right pain in the behind last night....would she stay in bed....caught her putting her potty under the bathroom tap, trying to say she'd been for a wee.....cheaky blighter! then later on, after we'd gone to bed 10pm ish, she got out of bed and attempted to open the stair gate luckily completely beyond her......looks like we've got a right one here.

I'm a right old miserable bat just now, acid reflux is bad, have SPD as well as sacro-iliac pain now , very tempted to murder my DP who is being very selfish and annoying just now. Oh and need to finish Christmas/baby shopping.

Still 6 weeks to go and [shock}

friz - i'm holding steady at 8.5 squares - seems no amount of choccy I eat is gonna make this bump bigger! lol. have shrunk 0.5 a square but not bothered as last week the scan showed baby was growing at the right size and right amount of water etc around him so pleased over all - might not be having a big baby after all!

Ok, TP Tuesday today and SNAP!! munz 8.5 squares still for me too. dont seem to have grown this week, but i remember george saying she stuck around the 8 mark for a bit!

sweetkitty - is acid reflux the same as heartburn? i assume so. i have terrible heartburn.

thanks for asking about docs munz. it was fine, i had a very amusing ob. consultant who was telling me all about how tom cruise has bought his own state of the art ultrasound monitor to check on katie's beanie, and he is going to donate it to some hospital afterwards!

I heard about tom cruise - I swear blind that KH has more of a bump than I do - v intresting to see when she drops! lol.

Good idea Rom, and yes I am feeling a bit bigger....beanie is very lively too! seems I'm all up front!, rather than than sagging at the sides tho

I recon so rom - good news about ur BP - I honestly have no idea how mine's the low end of 'normal' so far it includes sitting on MN or ebay for 75% of my working day lol - eating copious amounts of choccy and any other junk/crap! lol - I tend to eat quite a bit till lunch time then nothing till tea then nothing till brekie - don't know if any of thta will help at all - or are you disposed to it so to speak?

and that KH - well i'm voting that the baby will be born around january time ish ( I still say they only went 'public' cos she was PG!) lol - an no doubt she'll have baby by C section and then be promptly skinny again - which I will naturally assume is down tot eh fact she had a tummy tuck at the same time! lol. what do u recon?

oh Munz, don't know if the sect believe in c-sections!

think the Katie/Tom thing is all a bit strange, I thought he was infertile?

Romilly - acid reflux I think is the same thing as heartburn, whenever I burp I get a throat full of acid, DP also says my breathe stinks as well the good thing is all these things go the minute the baby is out!

sk - fwiw i'm sure men have thier time of the month as well! lol - how many times could I murder my DH! lol - do u think 'it wasn't me it was PG hormones would be a good defence!' lol.

Well 12 days to go so this time in 2 wks will be on here telling you all the details of whether we have a pink or blue..lol Still not decided on any names at all so will be packing the name book to go to hospital with us..lol

also forgot to say my couches are being delivered tommorow although panicking slightly as dh is in work and I keep having images of them not being able to get the couches in..lol

Hello Nemo! I can't believe that you only have 12 days left. What an amazing Christmas present.

Hello Friz! Sorry about DD... DS1 is also feeling poorly and it is doing my head in since I am already running on empty here.

Looks as though we are off to NY on the 19th (for Christmas) and then I will decide based on what we find in the way of schooling/midwives/place to live etc etc if I will come back here to have the baby or stay on in the Big Apple. I feel sick nearly all day/every day just thinking about all that this entails...

I have another scan on the 19th and DH will actually be there as will our little people so maybe we will find out if it is a boy or a girl. I would rather not know but DD and DS2 are desperate to find out! I may just cave in and ask...

Hi Cadmum good to hear from you, sure you'll love NYC, its one of the better cities I've been to! did you have any luck finding out about districts etc, I'm better versed in the Jersey side of things myself....

I hope that NYC is a positive move. I am really nervous about the prospect. (Did I mention that DH's contract is only until March 31 and I am due on March 10?) I am really not sure about where to live... I suppose that NJ is an option though. We are staying in the flat that DH ususally shares with 2 others until Jan 2 so we have a bit of time to look around. His flat-mates are home for the holidays.

Cadmum, sure it'll be a great move its a part of the states I personally really like anywhere Vermont down to Maryland almost seems normal to me how to upset all the americans on here!!
