munz · 15/11/2005 08:58

lol, no well between us girls! lol, I was gonna do from home to keep the money up cos SMP is laughable, (but only after 3 months, so really only 3 months of home work them moving!)

munz · 15/11/2005 10:42

george32 · 15/11/2005 16:53

Cadmum, so glad you are OK.
These computers are terrible aren't they.

No Munz, not roll on Christmas, that will mean I'm really close to giving birth Off to buy nice things for labour at home this weekend (mainly chocolate) & to fill my hospital bag - how scary is that.

Not measured yet as we are running a bit short on loo roll but I am huge this week. I'm guessing 9 or even 10, my late surge has finally started!

Busy day for me sleeping. Still waking in the early hours and not getting back off to sleep so I'm exhausted by lunchtime - hooray for not working!

sweetkitty · 15/11/2005 17:37

hi cadmum - glad you are ok

munz - not long till maternity leave then, while I was on mine I got made redundant which was such a shame as we were moving too and I wasn't going back, also found out I was pregnant when DD was 9 months so it all worked out ok.

Have started to think about my hospital bag too, am planning on a homebirth but can only have one if I get to 39 weeks (as they will only cover you for 3 weeks) so as DD was 15 days early should have a bag packed just in case. Last time I had a huge bag with everything in it, new cheap nightshirt, massage oil, CDs, the works, I didn't even get to unzip it. I think I pulled off my jeans and pants lay on the bed and had DD with the help of that wonderful gas and air.

Frizbe · 15/11/2005 19:45

lol at last hospital bag SK, mine was pretty much the same! however I shall make an effort and pack it again, as this time may well be different, and I'd hate to get stuck in hospital withouth my essentials!!

Cadmum, glad your ok

Munz, glad things went ok re the leave talk, lol at you catching me up 9 sheets here also!!

Nemo1977 · 16/11/2005 19:18

hello all
quiet on here recently all busy either nesting or at work etc.
Not a lot going on here...downstairs is looking lovely newly decorated and couches should be here in the next 7-10days apparently..wooo hooo. Have half packed my hospital bag as am 36wks on fri and being induced 4wks tommorow Whole thing seeming a bit real now and gone very quickly. Baby room still not sorted but have made a dent into the rubbish but need dh to be here to put things in loft and shed for me. So may collar him on friday evening.

Hope everyone is ok.

Frizbe · 16/11/2005 22:35

Hi all and Nemo of course, looks like its just you and me today!!
Saw midwife this am and all ok here, she was late as had just delivered a 1st time mum's newbie at home, after she had a rather rapid labour didn't make the hospital!!
Nemo, give your dh a punt up the bum! mine has nearly cleared dd's new room......only about 4 more large items to shift......fingers x'd he has it done before Xmas!

Nemo1977 · 16/11/2005 22:41

hi frizbe

how are you?
Poor dh has been working really hard he was off last week and redecorated living/dining room and helped them fit the carpet etc. He went back to work on monday and is yet to have a day off..think his next on is wed/thurs next week. Although he has told me tonight that he will put stuf fin loft etc on fri as he is due home about 4.30pm on fri instead of usual 8.30pm

Frizbe · 17/11/2005 20:34

Sorry Nemo, missed you yesterday! looks like our dh's are both working very hard, mines working all weekend as well, looks like the following one is his next day off, which is not making him too happy.....(I do keep offering to go back to 'proper' work (I currently work for myself from home, but its not the richest of jobs!), which makes him worse, as he did turn down the option of being a house husband last year, when I could have gone back to my hard working but mega paid job, and he decided he didn't want me to, wanted to be the great white hunter, so here we are.....) anyway enuff of that hope your all well out there, very quiet thread of late, what has happened to J&R's mummy, have we been abandoned?!

romilly · 18/11/2005 12:56

hi girls - i havent abandoned you, just been so so busy at work, its typical that it gets horrendously busy just when i could do with a lighter workload.

munz - sorry i said 14 weeks???? i meant 24 of course

well it seems i have gone straight from morning sickness to high blood pressure. have been in and out of hospital this week having my pressure checked cause its rocketed. actually about to go back for last check this week so will catch up with you all over the weekend hopefully.

sweetkitty · 18/11/2005 13:02

hi all glad to see you are all doing ok less than 8 weeks to go for me been Christmas present shopping this morning mostly for DD though, I nearly have everything now doing it early just in case!!!

Had antenatal appt yesterday all is well with babe, she's head down but back to back but I'm sure she twists about daily.

Once I have Christmas presents sorted will have to organise things for the baby!!

munz · 18/11/2005 13:34

ok girls - i'm wey behind so only a touch of catch up - apologies to anything i miss off.

SK - 8 weeks really? not long now! lol.

ROM - don't worry hon, only 14 weeks to go seems like only last week we were saying only 28 to go! lol. R u leanking/anything yet? what's the 26 week glucose test? my next apt's in dec at 28 weeks for blood work and urine sample again - but there was no mention of the drink at all. (last urine sample was clear) - ooh backatcha girl! I'm starting to fret over this parenting lark thou - I mean how am I expected to raise a child/teach a child - I don't know enough! - guess that's why MN is here! lol.

Friz - it is quite at the mo isn't it. J&RM has been having a few probs with cold and the girls haven't been letting her get much sleep/ her DH is no much help after a knee op - but on the whole she's doing well - rebecca's 3 weeks .

Nemo - 4 weeks - bloody hell girl! lol. all u dec girls will be poppin soon. are u all ready for the bundles?

george - lol, yes roll on xmas I get rid of DH for 3 weeks after on the 9th jan as he's off to rehab for his knee! then only 2 more at work and i'm off - woohoo! (and share that choccy MRS!)

caddy - hope u're still doing ok.

wonder where DQ is these days.

not much going on here, dh's b'day today - old man at 23! lol. got him a little b'day cake. and he's off out with my DB for a drink tonight. DH is working nights from tomorrow, so the next weekend we'll get together will be not this one coming nexst week but the one after - oh well! lol.

boobs still leaking, DH has felt jnr moving about- we've picked hte name Jake (so far! lol) he's been so excited finally feeling him moving! and DB heard his heart (he's been really stressed as i'm not 'talking to him' and he can't get close to me - we're v v close for siblings. so think he liked to feel included a bit! bless him. (some men just don't realise hormones some days mean u don't wanna talk to anyone! lol)

hope all is well with everyone.

Frizbe · 18/11/2005 18:27

SK hope baby turns around for you, or it could be a painful labour, think your right to be prepared re early labour, you never know when these things are going to happen!

Rom, sorry to hear you've been in and out of hospital, hope things are ok with the BP for the weekend, hate to think they may keep you in or anything along those lines....

You've definatley decided on the name then Munz that's good! wish dh and I could decide....argh! men!!

Hope everyone else is well?

munz · 18/11/2005 22:48

I have friz- and well DH did but I put bump (jake) in his b'day card and he said - who agreed jake - well u did! lol. I like it so i'm having it! i'm the mummy! lol.

romilly · 19/11/2005 12:06

lol munz - cant believe you have leaky boobs already! jake is a cute name, josh is cute too though.

hi friz, george, dq, caddy, J&BM, nemo, yingers, and SK - sorry i havent been on here much lately

as i mentioned my latest pregnancy delight is hypertension - and they are monitoring my very closely which is a good thing of course. so i am in and out of hospital all week. couldnt believe my boss yesterday - he knew i was due to have tests for my blood pressure that afternoon - and still shouted (yes... i mean really shouted) at me half an hour beforehand - and all because i was the unfortunate purveyor of bad news that someone he owed money to had called and asked for it. i am seriously thinking i may have to stop work earlier than planned if he is going to jeopardize my pregnancy like this, he really stresses me out and clearly it is not helping things.

hope all you girls are doing well, sorry for moan.

Nemo1977 · 19/11/2005 14:13

hello all

rom your boss is out of order I would get signed off sick by the mw if I was you hun hes not worth the stress.

Munz love the name jake..its actually top of our list for a boy as its the only one we can agree on..lol

Hope everyone else is ok!!

Ive been sorting out the nursery today thought it was about time with only 3/4wks to go..lol IT is absolutely killing me so have had to take a computer break before I go into labour. However I now have a cot that a baby can sleep in and curtains up..lol IT is no longer the junk room with baby stuff but the baby room with some junk still to be sorted. Will go back to it soonish as also now need to tidy adams room as I asked him to entertain himself..sigh. DH is out at work but have a load of stuff to go in loft when he comes home so he will be doing his share!!!

munz · 19/11/2005 14:16

I know rom leeky boobs - and the worse thing is i've managed to sus when they're leaking - thankfully it's only a small amount thou - pads and sleep bra's for me I think - still m/w says it's all good.

and u MRS - take care of that baby and forget ur boss.

nemo - u'd best be taking things easy as well mrs!

still love Jake!

Nemo1977 · 19/11/2005 14:25

munz am sure it will be good if you plan on bf..plus you can store loads then for a good night out

I am taking it easy hence am sitting here for a bit as am aching/stomach is getting bad bh. Anyways being in the nursery is safer than being with adam trying to do superman impressions and flying at me..pmsl

romilly · 19/11/2005 14:58

nemo - you do take it easy hun and tell superman that he is only allowed to do flying impressions on daddy well done for getting the nursery sorted, or at least half-sorted! i bet its looking cute.

munz - i am sure that leaky boobs is a great sign that you are going to have no trouble b/f. mine are showing no signs of overflow yet, and i really want to b/f so i hope they start leaking soon!

gotta go out with some friends to dinner tonight, when all i want to do is curl up on the sofa with a good dvd and pillow better make the effort i suppose, mr. rom has cabin fever
