Yay Rom!

Welcome to the girlie gang!

Well what a day so far.... hoping that the lack of sleep BOTH my girls have had today will mean a decent night!

Rebecca is being a bit demanding, and Jess is picking up on it - oh what fun i am going to have!

dramaqueen72 · 27/10/2005 19:48

congrats ROM! how lovely.
about finding out cadmum; i knew and was 100% right with ds and dd1, but the outside thoughts and facts really spoilt my idea about dd2, so I had no idea, this tiem i have an inkling 'boy' but again am not sure. and after all, having one of each (2 of dd's!) it doesnt matter or bother me so much you know? so maybe alittle out of tune with my gut instinct! I am very very excited to find out on day of delivery tho! really excited this time because we really dont know at all.

Frizbe · 27/10/2005 19:59

Rom, congrats on the girl
Hi to everyone else, lol cadmum at checking munz's postings! I reckon your having a girl hon!

romilly · 27/10/2005 20:37

thank you for all your lovely congrats messages
i just had a look at your pics website nemo and it was great to see you all/or your beanies. george - your scan pictures could practically be mine! exactly the same angles and profiles - very cute DQ - mollie is gorgeous, must take after her mum nemo - adam is a real cutie-pie too.

munz - sounds like you are having same problem as me at work - ie. having to do some, what an inconvenience, lol! also chuckling at your offer of a trade, - but sorry no deal

cadmum - i agree with friz - i think from the photo your bubba has to be a girl -sooo pretty. either that or its the next brad pitt

J&BM - i have to go and find all the threads about you and rebecca, so much to catch up on. love the name.

sweetkitty - good luck with the controlled crying, dont envy you hun!

friz & munz - i will catch up with the march thread soon i promise! has been a v. tough week at work!

yingers - hope all is going well with you and isabelle

wendy11 · 27/10/2005 22:00

Rom - Just to say congratulations on your little girl. Keep looking after yourself and your precious daughter.

Bella23 · 28/10/2005 08:07

Rom - lovely news. Congrats!!
Take care xx

JessicaandRebeccasmummy · 28/10/2005 08:37

MUCH better night.... Rebecca woke at 1.30am and 5.45am and that was it! HOORAH!

Jessica was a good girl too although was awake for the day at 6.30am!

Just think girls - you've got all this to look forward to!

Taking Rebecca to toddlers this morning to show her off, leaving Jessica to have time with daddy!

Take care all and will catch you all soon xxx

munz · 28/10/2005 09:35

ok more or less there.

yingers - wow what a quick labour. hope mine is.

JM - glad u had a better night, enjoy showing rebecca off to the girls.

Rom - ooh will have to add our pics for the march thread won't we. - don't be so silly about march girls not remeberin u - course we all will! what's wrong wiht us trading then!? lol - i've got a lovely pair of dungarees - dead cute! lol - even DH commented on the cuteness! - and well as for work - what gave u that idea!? - I did my banking/recs/orders and that was it for the avo playing on spider solitare! (it's been a busy summer so renjoying the laid back winter!) u take things easy in work. how does ur DH feel about it being a girl? - do u have any names yet?

DQ - ooh think I was def out on my gut feeling! lol.

cads - there's nothing wrong with not knowing - i'm glad we did know but in a way also upset we did it's like opening xmas pressies 2 months b4 and having no surprises on the day. still it's not chanign the fact and we can prepare for bump easier knowing. (being first and all)

dyz - good to hear form u, hope u're taking things easy in work as well.

friz - how's DD today? - we've had an outbreak of CP around here as well. on of my friends DD's has it - she's got a second DD only 3 weeks as well. they're hoping baby hasn't caught it.

SK - good luck with controlled crying this w/e

nemo - ooh might have to add march onto that list - would u guys mind?

not much going on here - sickness has started to come back, my boobies are feeling like they belong to someone else - having issues with that right now, also have a lump (sure it's only a milk duct) near the nipple- seems to come and go, but DH brought me some flowers yesterday and sent them to work - thing it wwas to make up for what he did last night in advance - went out till 1am (don't normally mind) then came home cooked a sausage/egg sarnie and came to bed at 2.30 cos i'd got up and shouted - not a happy bunny with him today! still least I got the flowers and he said nice things about me on the I love my DP/DH thread!

hope everyone's doing OK.

Frizbe · 28/10/2005 12:00

Munz! lol at your dh pre-empting himself with the flowers! might suggest that to mine

J&RM wow what a great night, lets hope Rebecca carries on like this! have fun at toddlers

SK how's the controlled crying going?

Cadmum, DQ, Nemo, Rom and anyone else I've forgotten to mention hope your ok today?

Well its dd's 2nd birthday party tomorrow, so I'm preparing to start the pumpkin carving this afternoon, followed by baking two cakes tonight, and making the 'orrible jelly lucky dip, someone suggested on the halloween thread! oh and have the party bags to make up too....fun evening! dh and ss have the job of decorating for the party, then tomorrow am I have to 'ice' the cakes (although I'm using cream cheese frosting, yummy) get the rest of the food ready, and ensure ss is made up ready in time (does dd want to wear any costume for the party, no, no no! women eh!)

In the meantime Munz et all, dd is a bit better again today, although still has a slight temp, no sign of any spots?? she's just dozed off on the sofa, after asking to go to bed, protesting like hell when we got there, so came back downstairs again and zzzzzz so still a bit ick me thinks!

sweetkitty · 28/10/2005 12:13

just catching up

Haven't started the CC yet think we are going to go with the PU/PD method re baby whisperer seems a bit more gentle, in saying that DD woke at 5 this morning and came in with me and was a nightmare fidgeting and the like. DP is doing the first 2 shifts Friday and Saturday so at least I will get some sleep. Have to be very strong and not allow her in with us anymore. She's so all over the place none of us get any sleep!

Romilly - congrats on your scan. I'm having a DD as well! Will have 2 DDs with about an 18 month gap!

I was about 90% sure with DD1 that she was a girl and this pregnancy has been so identical to the other one that she had to be a girl too. Had a 4D scan a few weeks ago and she even looks like her big sister already.

JARM - glad you had a good night last night. Enjoy showing off Rebecca today.

Hope everyone else is doing OK too, will have to check out the pictures of everyone.

Nemo666 · 28/10/2005 13:14

bella and wendy glad to see you both...really really willing you onto here some come on santa bring some special magic for these two ladies[ok i know it sonly oct but he is listening you know]

Well I am now in pain as I have just cut the grass for winter and it was a hard task as i have not done it for about 6wks. DH kept saying he would but never got around to it...he is currently stripping the dining room which is a nightmare as we have a through living/dining room. So been trying to keep adam busy in the garden. Need to go and make some lunch.
Take care
33wks today

dyzzidi · 28/10/2005 14:02

Oh my god I can't believe there are actual babies being born on this thread. How time flies.

I thought I would catch up properly. Been without a computer for weeks due to broadband problems at work and a dodgy laptop at home. I'm now nearly 31 weeks and full of aches and pains. My consultant has said my baby will be arriving sooner rather than later due to past history and he hopes I'm prepared as it could be in the next couple of weeks This little girl still doesn't have a name! She does have a very pretty nursery though

Married life is pretty much the same as unmarried life but with more hassle (name changing etc). I trust you are all doing OK and getting bigger!

I will post a wedding picture when my laptop is fixed so you can see what I look like in RL.

So who is due next is it you NEMo????

romilly · 28/10/2005 16:02

wendy and bella: thank you so much for congrats - you are both so supportive when i know it must be hard for you. well i am totally with nemo on the santa's wish list of wanting BFPs for you two special girls.

nemo - you shouldnt be doing the lawn with your spd girl! let d/h do it! tell him i said so

dyzz - welcome back and sounds like you will be one of the next!

sweetkitty - i have just started reading baby whisperer - so i will be interested to follow your progress! good luck

munz - must go and see what sweet thing your d/h has been saying about you by the way a good friend of mine just had a gorgeous 8.8lb baby boy (yesterday) and i have seen him already and i thought of you! he really was lovely actually

i am getting more kicking now, which i love

romilly · 28/10/2005 16:03

oh caddy - happy 21 weeks today!

munz · 28/10/2005 16:04

romilly · 28/10/2005 16:12

I am off chocolate and sweets at the minute but I had better buy some for the neighbours kids over halloween.

Anyone had any strange cravings lately the other night after tea i sat and ate four dry pitta breads one after the other then three plums how weird,

munz · 28/10/2005 16:23

sweetkitty · 28/10/2005 16:28

I get kicks in the ribs and even felt a foot today bits sticking out all over the place now (29+1 weeks) babe is lying exact same way her sister did head down to the right back up, bum under ribs and legs over right hand side, left hand side of bump feels strangely empty, even MW said she didn't even need to feel bump to see where baby was.

Must go get some Gaviscon now

romilly · 28/10/2005 16:31

yellowbear - thankyou for your message. great to hear from you, how is everything going for you?

dyzzidi · 28/10/2005 16:36

I am sitting here waiting to finish work for the day and all I can think about is what to get from the chinese tonight for tea. I'm going to my sisters as DH is in Taiwan working for a few weeks.

I am so hungry I have just demanded everyon empty their top drawers in the office so i can see what they have got to eat. All the men here look very scared.
