evening ladies
right -
munz -congratulations on your son!!! I had a son first too! what are you thinking of calling him?
J&BM, this baby will come, you just take it easy now and rest LOTS (soon rest will be a distant memory)
george -rib pain? well eps if that baby of yours is breech or transverse lie you will have more than feet in your rib cage. baby will shift and give you some respite, but nobody can say when I have terrible pains in my back (feet there!) and on my side next to my belly button on the right, where head AND feet are (its very curled up, but with butt down!!)
Yingers, think I prob missed you but saw someone fitting your description walk by the scan stand (its not veyr obviously a scan stand, trust me) and kinda catch my eye....were you in red and black? I was filling in a form.if it wasnt you I think I freaked someone else out!LOL
we were there about ten/fifteen minutes before you left and spent most of today there.
I couldnt find half the stalls -why the heck they couldnt lay it out in a nice easy grid so you could walk up and down I dont know!!!!
got a few freebies, and some good bargain -simple babywipes being the best (two large packs and two travel packs for £3 the lot!!)
we bought -- a light fitting for the babys room, its very cute, like a sky and bunch of clouds with a red plane attached to it (oh that was sucha great description!NOT!) a brilliant fleecy wrap blanket thing, some organic cotton stuff, a gorgeous poss not actually essential changing bag, a tummy tub, um..and a few other bits too. disappointed at lack of furniture there, hardly any, as we wanted to see and actually touch a few bedside cots and couldnt. and disappointed at some stals idea of show bargain, some had NO buy at show get special price offers whatso ever, and some had a lousey 10% off. other had a much better idea and had a good third off things. lots of lovely friendly people, not too much hard sell, and plenty of different things. NOT enough chairs -the number of pg ladies sat on the floor or ladies bfing on the floor was quite shocking to me!!, hoep all that helps you decide if you should call in rom if youre shopping for baby things right now -go, if not, -dont!
my 4d scan was very sweet to see. I'm not convinced I'd pay over £100 for it tho! (ours was a shorter £30 at show sample thing) our baby was asleep, and had part of the cord across its face, so tho i got some lovely pictures, its wasnt as easy or as clear as I thought it would be. got a couple tho where sleeping baby face is the SPITTING IMAGE of dh and dd2. and two very very cute feet shots. looking at the baby yawning and sighing and rubbing eyes was lovely tho. bless.
cadmum, glad your bean is a wriggly one, reassuring you that way. sorry youre so tired and not posting much, miss your posts!
