Too bad I don?t live closer to you. We could spell each other off.

I had to miss a class tonight (and probably every Tuesday from now on) because I can?t find a sitter...

you really ought to get to bed. You will regret all of the time you spent out of bed once the lo is here.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 01:08

i know hun, i really must go try again..... hope you're ok hun xxx

I keep trying to keep the insanity in perspective. I am looking so forward to living in the same city as DH. I am just too old and tired for this whole routine!

Sweet dreams. I really hope you can sleep. ( I am so LAZY that I can ALWAYS sleep!)

kelli22 · 05/10/2005 01:13

hey my insimniac buds,

i kno im not pg but i am awake and typing with one hand as feeding jess with the other, fingers crossed i will b gettin to bed soon tho !

Cadmum · 05/10/2005 01:15

Big Congratulations to you Kelli! Why have I not seen an announcement?

kelli22 · 05/10/2005 01:25

I've posted a couple one on the sept thread.... one on the insomniac one i think - been a bit rushed

Jessica Ann Jones was born 29th Sept after 24hr labour with just gas n air (too busy for an epidural apparently!) weighing 6lb 12oz and is absolutely perfect! she has just fallen asleep and i need to too, chat soon though hun x

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 07:53

well ive been up over an hour now - DH is on the train to Peterborough...... fingers crossed nothing happens til he gets home!

HOW am i going to survive on 4 hours sleep?! I hope Jess has a decent sleep after toddlers later!!!

OP posts:
munz · 05/10/2005 07:59

jm - u really should sleep honney, u will need it for the LO's arrival.

Kelli - big congrats honney.

Cadmum - pelvic floor are that good? I'll have to get doing mine then - so far no wee incidents when laughing/sneeking althou I must amit to a touch of the dribbles so will ahve to do them

rom - I got mine from ebay but I hear u can get it from boots - apparently it's the best for reducing and not getting strech marks - it even reduces the apperance of scars - i'm trying it out on DH as well cos he has terrible strech marks on his back - and he likes me rubbing the oil in - ooh er - shame he won't do it for me - althou he does shake my belly and say wake up beanie- think we're gonna hvae the annoying dad syndrome!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 08:05

i know i SHOULD sleep - i just CANT!

Staying off the Raspberry Leaf Tea until DH home tonight.... hopefully baby will know daddy isnt around today and stay put! WHAT AM I SAYING?! Ive still got 4 weeks to go.... im going to be 2 weeks over!!!

OP posts:
Frizbe · 05/10/2005 10:12

By your dates you have two days to go! and by the hospitals two weeks, hun, so anything could happen! if anything the leaf tea should make your contractions more efficient, so keep at it, dh or no dh, might mean a quick drop!

Right as said on feb thread off to paint kitchen!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/10/2005 11:38

Just phoned DH - he was in and out of the consultants and is at the train station waiting for the train home already! Will be home at 1.50pm instead of 4pm! HOORAH!

Raspberry leaf tea it will be as of 1pm!!!

Jess jsut gone for a sleep, should get my head down, but as DH home this afternoon - sod that, ill sleep when he's home!

Loads of twinges and tightenings this morning.... fingers crossed it MAY lead to somethign!

OP posts:
yingers74 · 05/10/2005 13:58

munz - wish i was going on hols, no tis my parents that are away enjoying the sun! they have been away for over two weeks now and will be back in another two weeks!

Frizbe · 05/10/2005 16:34

Well have finished painting kitchen, 100% better, so that's a happy me! and its now all wipeable paint, so fingers x'd if we sell during the next few years, will get away with a quick wipe over rather than a re paint! and still have enuff paint left to do the utility too (once we repair the hole in the celing where the bath leaked....)hurrah!

Have to say tho, left leg, pelvis thru bum to top of leg giving me gip today.....was my right leg last pregnancy, looks to be the other one this time...fingers x'd it doesn't go to both, or it'll be crutches for me...

J&BM how's the tea going, more twinges etc?

munz · 06/10/2005 07:59

just quick b4 I get to work - JM&B that link thingy on ur Oct thread - when I have a fave colour of black (by mistake) it said 10lb 9 baby born at night 8 hr labour and windy, but when I changed it to blue it said hazel eyes - impossible as everyone in DH's fmaily and mine are blue eyes v v pale blue - load of old tosh if u ask me! lol.

Promotions day today - won't know till DH goes in tonight thou

romilly · 06/10/2005 13:47

ooh good luck with the promotions for d/h munz - specialpromotionpayrise dust to you!

just nipped out to buy The Times paper today cause i spied the headline "Why your boss is a b*ard!" thought i'd see if i could glean anything from it, lol - havent had time to read it yet...

any more stirrings J&BM?

george - tell DQ she is being very antisocial neglecting her old beanie pals! no seriously hope she is fine, she has been v. quiet

cadmum & munz, 18 weeks tomorrow nearly half way through...

romilly · 06/10/2005 13:51

Cadmum: forgot to say, i am mightily impressed with your kegels routine and you have inspired me to try harder.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 06/10/2005 13:53

its all bollocks! pregnancy is bollocks! Twinges are bollocks! IT IS ALL BOLLOCKS!

Sorry..... feel better now! Twinges keep coming and gonig and doing NOTHING!

More RLT for me then!

OP posts:
Cadmum · 06/10/2005 14:54

JandB: I think that you would get on famously with my DS2 today. He is thinking that Everything is Bollocks as well. ( I am trying NOT to fall into that trap or else I will never escape...)

Just think that in a few short weeks you will be holding the world?s most adorable new-born and this will all be a fading memory. Try to keep your chin up.

Frizbe · 06/10/2005 16:35

Agree with Cadmum there! it may all feel like bollox, but get MW to check your cervix next week, if you don't drop before then, bet your already dilated!!

Nemo666 · 06/10/2005 17:01

awww jabm...god help you if you go over like i did with adam...lol This time 2 years ago I was officially 11 days overdue and still no Adam. Although now it seems like such a short time so its not that bad,

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 06/10/2005 17:02

i know i know im a grumpy old fool!

DH's work is annoying me too so i havent had thebest of days.

MUNZ - any news?!

OP posts:
george32 · 06/10/2005 19:08

Rom, DQ's far too busy writing out recipes for us all on the Dec thread at the moment!! We are all aspiring to be a domestic goddess like DQ, once we go on maternity leave so we need all the help we can get!!

Munz hope you get some good news, keep popping over to see if you have heard anything. Fingers crossed.

Very scared now as I've just realised that I finish work next week & then I'm going to have a baby!!! OMG !!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 06/10/2005 19:10

Bad news from Munz. BLOODY ARMY

Thats 2 pg hormonal women pissed off at the army tonight

OP posts:
munz · 06/10/2005 19:12

no v bad, he didn't get it, i'm so depressed about it now.

gonna wait for him to ing back and hope he was having me on - sure he wasn't.

maybe he needs to crash cars and suck up more to the higher ranks like other lads do that got promoted.

romilly · 06/10/2005 19:12

george next week! no more work!

i guess we will let DQ off the hook then, as that sounds like a valid excuse for beanie thread neglect
