luckoftheirish · 23/06/2010 19:16

lovely poem lwfm, hope you got your work done..

sends loads of positive vibes dizzy your cakes looked amazing!!!

in a horrible mood here "h" driving me demented from the pub with stupid texts and casually informing me that he would be there again for the game on sunday!!! added to his night out last night, in the pub from 2pm today, hasn't seen dd1 today.. WHY DO I BOTHER??? no wait don't answer that, rant over and forget i said anything! x

TwilightSurfer · 23/06/2010 19:21

lucky you don't "bother". just ignore and do as you like. best tolerate with no emotion than waves of anger. (((hug)))

dizzy you bakes are beautiful.

hi longway.

GladioliBuckets · 23/06/2010 19:52

Aah lovely poem Longway, you forget people had a sense of humour in them days.

Loti Remember you're playing the roles of single mum and he's just the live-in landlord. If you have no expectations of him, he can't let you down. Temporarily treat anything you do get as a bonus but make sure you don't get invoiced for it.

oopsandbabycoconut · 23/06/2010 20:59

evening or is it morningg or afternoon?

DD2 awake in the night from 1-2.30 DD1 woke at 4.20 and came in to me then chatted about 'what do birdies eat mummy?' for 2 hours before she went back to sleep then DD2 wanted feeding and they both got up for the day at 7.30.

We had a |BF awareness week tea party today and met a whole group of littlies DD2's age.

I am off to bed.

Dizzy hope you had a good evening and sold it all

pertelote · 23/06/2010 20:59

Heavens, I never ever watch sport and yet today other people's enthusiasm is contagious - this afternoon the whole office was watching the football in the corner of their screens and now DH has me watching some bizarre neverending tennis match.

Dizzy, the cakes are fab, hope all is a huge success.

House sold again - back on track to move in August. Hots, so sorry yours hasn't worked out. The unusually tidy house thing is nice, though, isn't it.

Feeling nice and weekendish here and looking forward to seeing Miamla and ALBS tomorrow - anyone else?

oopsandbabycoconut · 23/06/2010 21:05

I have had a hard time persuading DD1 that we are not going to see MrsM get married (again) when we go to the 'zoom' tomorrow

pertelote · 23/06/2010 21:22

Aw Oops, that's cute!

LOL oops. DD1 is so excited about going to the zoo tomorrow and having a picnic . DD2 just keeps asking to go to Westonbirt. I think she just needs to practice 'zoo' a bit more and that will become favourite i'm sure

Enjoy your London meet ladies, we will be talking about thinking of you

Fab news on the house Pert and fingers x'd for Aug. Just make sure you sit like a woodpecker on the solicitors shoulders with a timely tap, tap, tap every so often

LOL TS you sound like you have a bit of va va voom back. Tis nice

LOTI do we have a plan for asking him to leave, or perhaps just deliver his stuff to the pub - would be easier

Did you manage to get all your documents together so that when you are ready, you are able to take the next steps when you need to? {{{Big hugs}}} lovely, it must be such terrible feeling to see your husband and father of your children treat you all with such contempt

Hi Longway & Buckets

dizzydixies · 23/06/2010 21:50

well deserved early night for me after chips and wine shall pop up some photos for you all to see on FB page

thank you all so much for kind thoughts x

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/06/2010 21:54

Noooooo, you cannot run off with chips and wine. Multitask woman, and tell us how it went

dizzydixies · 23/06/2010 22:25

photos up now, was sweaty puddle in very warm building but went well, not huge amount sold as it was the launch party but a lot of interest

also dropped a batch on the floor and they weren't wonky ones either and that was BEFORE wineage

dizzydixies · 24/06/2010 07:46

Morning all!!! Brekker all round (no cakes though!) I apparently can't sleep for eyes running around my head and my legs are ACHING - spending so many days standing baking and then at the stall - am tempted to throw myself in the bath and stay there. I was asked to do a stall at this festival last night but as its on Sunday I can't do it. I think am going to take the girls along though to give it a look and check out the competition lol. Has given me an idea though to approach the local festival here and ask about getting a table - it's not as big as the WestFest but how much baking can one gal do?!?

Hoping for a busier days sales wise today which will result in me being up all night Got to go and be a mum for two minutes before taking DD1 to school and collecting DH and the girls from the airport at 4pm

in the meantime hope everyone is well and will try to catch up later

hotterpotter · 24/06/2010 08:35

hots how rubbish to be feeling rubbish without being pg. How do you know you're not, is it, er, obvious? Boo

I saw a photo of cousin in law's new baby today and my ovaries went THRUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

loti I was wondering too, how you're getting on with making plans to leave/kick him out? Don't answer if you don't want to, obv but since he is continuing a twat I thought you might be pushing onwards

pert well done on house sellage

dizzy I have been admiring your buns

Glads I can't remember if I said congratulations for landing your job, so if I did, CONGRATULATIONS! That is a touch, as the people of South London say.

Got the day off here, ostensibly for study, but have had to do an emergency clean as recent nappy-off times have resulted in the lingering smell of wee Mopping to the sound of Sonic Youth, how rock and roll am I?

Oh, forgot to mention that DS moved up to the next room of nursery yesterday He's not a baby anymore [waaaaaiiiiiiilllllll] He's been very good though and loves having new stuff to do, and seeing all his friends who've moved up from the baby room

Must crack on, laters.

Cyteen scary isn't we - we got 2 invitations to 2nd Birthday Parties yesterday so kind of made it sink in that DS is going to be 2 soon. Glad he's enjoying his nursery though.

Dizzy the cakes looked fab hope you get some sales today.

Hots hope you're feeling better soon. It's rubbish being ill. I'm feeling a bit better but still a bit fuzzy headed.

Loti do hope it isn't the pox.

Buckets I think I too forgot to say congrats on the job

Enjoy your meet ups today and let us know how they went.

hotterpotter · 24/06/2010 11:51
