New thread for us to chat about our little jekyll & hydes...

Danny is currently stood next to me rearranging my DVD collection - I will be doing a work out to charlie & lola tonight apparently, while DS1 will be watching Billy Blanks Taebo with his pre-bedtime cup of milk and DH's history docu is hiding out with Diego in the city of lost toys...

Hi Mentalpup - that's great news! Congratulations - and best of luck for your pregnancy. Hope no 2 is doing well (and no 1 of course).

Silverymoon - I'd be really pissed off if the school was changing my childs classes, especially a child who is likely to be unsettled by changes, without telling me. However, hope it does benefit the kids in the end and the transition goes smoothly. Have a lovely day today. Bet that little newborn gets you feeling all broody Grin

hello all, hope everyone is ok and congratulations MP. Rather you than me Grin

Out in Florida now after a manic few days and an eventual journey which included being detained at security at LGW as H's nappy bag allegedly contained traces of explosives! This is the second time this has happened now (have had the changing bag over 4 years and its been all over the world, USA x 2, Middle East, Far East) and both times have been flying out of LGW, no problems at Heathrow. Most odd and they seem to think at security its because I'd cleaned the bag with flash wet wipes Hmm. Apparently they can contain traces of dubious things that CAN be used in explosives.

Anyway, fabulous first day. Went to Magic Kingdom yesterday and DD (just 4) dressed as Aurora and was well and truly fussed over by cast members and guests (employees and visitors in the real world) Went to breakfast at Cinderellas castle and met most of the princesses who signed autographs/posed for photos which was fab as didn't have to waste hours chasing them around Grin
Just as we were leaving at around 5pm totally worn out (having been up since 2am) there was a street parade/carnival and DD was invited to join and and was dancing in the parade with Minnie Mouse and at the end Minnie kissed her which made her day (and mine) Was a fab atmosphere and they had everyone joining in (much to DS1s shock as he was next to me watching DD as I was shaking my tail feather!) took me back to my youth Grin

Woke up starving a few hours ago (around 7am now) and ended up eating left over stuffed pizza which wasn't very sensible in hindsight at 6am)

Hope everyone is doing ok and look forward to catching up on the new thread. Dinky, what is your new title? You are the title master x

Hi to everyone else...

mslucy · 26/10/2010 14:41

hello.
have been lurking a lot recently but feeling a bit too mental to post.
Have 12 week scan tomorrow - worked myself up into a state of total anxiety about it (even though I have already had 2 early scans which were fine).
Worried about abnormalities and worried about an inconclusive scan that means I have to have a CVS (had this with Stan - all fine but not exactly a laugh).
Worried about money, worried about the thought of bringing a baby into the world with such a crap government.
Just WORRIED.
Sorry to be such a miserable old bag Sad

rosieposey · 26/10/2010 14:57

mentalpup Grin congrats! I remember you from our original threads - infact im sure you were due at the same time as me :)

Mslucy im sure it will be fine tomorrow, i remember feeling like you though - 12 weeks already! Worry, worry, worry, i thought it was just me with the dodgy hormones when i was pg and the weight of the world was on my shoulders - try and enjoy it tomorrow, how exciting!

MOS you lucky thing! Am very jealous (although not of getting stopped at LGW) hope you are having a fab old time.

Dinky hope you are feeling better - am looking forward to your thread title as well - they always make me Grin

Hope everyone else is ok, sm,tulips ect cant believe its nearly November fgs im going to have to think about bloody Christmas now!

All ok here - nothing exciting to tell, Milo is saying more words now although still wont string a sentence together, weve all really got to stop babying him though when i say we i mean my DD's he loves his sisters!

mslucy · 26/10/2010 15:00

rosie
I had Stan on 2nd Feb - think you were due that day too (mine was c/s so went like clockwork).
Know I should stop worrying but it is my nature.
Am very, very tired at the moment and that doesn't help either.
My boys are lovely and I should be grateful for what I've got rather than moaning away like a right old bag!

rosieposey · 26/10/2010 15:17

I was due on the 21st but had Milo on the 6th by CS too - not long after you :)

Aww im sorry you feel a bit rubbish - there is nothing worse than feeling knackered when you are pg, i didnt have a toddler around so was free to sleep and generally be a lazy arse - im hoping to fall pg again v soon so i will be moaning away as well no doubt. Can relate to the worrying side of things though as that was all i did, i forgot was a whinge bag i was but DH kindly reminded me a few days ago Grin

I would love to be pg though, 10 months trying and ive managed two chemical pgs and thats it - still ive got another good year in me i reckon then i might give up.

God the weather is shite - its just done nothing but piss down since i opened the blinds, wheres the snow!

dinkystinky · 26/10/2010 15:22

Hello all. MoS - glad you're having a fab holiday. Lucky DD2! Sorry to hear about your Gatwick security scare though - explosive bottoms are a possibility in our household but not explosives in nappy bags Grin

MsLucy - good luck for tomorrow. Try not to worry about our crapola government - nothing you can do about that! Just look after yourself and your boys and try and get a good night's sleep tonight.

Rosie - lovely to hear Milo is doing so well. Danny also not talking in sentences but his vocab is coming on in leaps and bounds. At the moment he loves waking up and yelling "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.... MUMMY!" until one of us comes and gets him, then says bed to take him to our bed and boob for his morning milk Blush he has very firm views on how his days should start.

Bumps - lovely to see you on. Not too much news on here - MsLucy and Mentalpup are pregnant with no 3, various older kids have started school, Silverymoon has a job as a teaching assistant now and seems to be enjoying it and cant remember too much more now...
