Just popping in to say hi and placemark...not much to add here: bump is still firmly in place (due tomorrow!) and now dh's surprise tea party is over I'm quite happy for it to come soon
Knackered today after the party, but so pleased it went well and that loads of people turned up
Lily - work sounds great, so pleased its going well
Gingeme - that sounds a bit scary, fingers crossed its all ok. Thanks for the tip about the water feature - we still haven't been to CFs with the dcs but will def go this summer so good to know about taking towels!!
Simpson - oh dear Is it worth going back to the doctor again? Are there any more tests they can do? This can't be good for you or M
WST - what Gingeme said: we're here if it would help to share xx
Ange - if you can stretch to it, LaT is absolutely right about the cleaner. Plus it means that dh and I don't get so narked with one another when we make a mess....!
MixedMama, Lucky, MrsMc - waves and blows kisses
Still in pjs, so time to get some kit on I think - A is at a party so dh and I are going to take T out for lunch, then I'm off to a friends' baby shower this afternoon.
Oh, this made me laugh (and choke!), I think you'll all be amused too....she has a gift list for her baby shower. A John Lewis gift list With hugely expensive items on it (£45 night light, £30 babygros etc etc)....I was absolutely gobsmacked. Weddings, yes. Baby showers? I'm resisting the urge to point out to her that Mothercare, Kiddicare, Argos and eBay would all provide much cheaper alternatives to getting ready for baby #1
Anyway, I've decided to ignore it and have bought her a lovely Sanctuary 'mum to be' gift set from Boots....I want to get something for her, not a single (organic cotton) towel and anyway her baby isn't due for about 8 weeks and I'll buy a present of my own choosing for it in a few months time when I next see her
