hi dips!!!!

shattered here (as usual) only 2 days til the hols and we have sorted a week in Cornwall in a static and a week in Filey N. Yorks in a large tourer caravan which is on a site.

Can't wait for a break. Having dts home from preschool with Luke is a doddle - add ds1 and things get much harder!!!

ScarletBandit · 20/07/2010 10:02

Hi ladies.

Well, surprise surprise, we are only a few days into the school holidays and the rain has arrived. Why does it always rain now, but then become glorious the week they go back to school?!

I have a friends son over tomorrow for the day, as she is stuck in hospital with her younger daughter, who fractured her leg almost a fortnight ago. He is a gorgeous boy and my two love him, so I am thinking tomorrow will probably be easier than a normal day!

Not much else happening here just now, having a day at home today and am still in my pj's. Back soon xx

You look fab on your pic on Facebook Dippy! Hope you had a great day.

Did you get your chest pains sorted out?

Thanks for your helpful comments on my other thread SPB! I am still trying to work out what the best way forward is. In answer to your question - I work in the arts. I used to work in orchestra management which was great fun - but lots of evening work, lots of touring etc. The problem now is that the pendulum has swung too far the other way, and I do almost none of that sort of stuff . . . (for anyone feeling nosey, the thread in question is here!)

CaptainDippy · 28/07/2010 20:42

It was great I smiled at The Queen and she smiled back!!!

Has painkillers for the chest pain - they think it is an inflammation of the cartilage between my ribs - so hoping it will ease / stop soon

How is everyone doing??

StealthPolarBear · 31/07/2010 22:44

I was going to ask how life as a SAHM was going oooggs! Glad you've had a nice holiday.
My baby is saying her brother's name but I'm the only one who's heard it . And T is finally toilet trained...I think I can say that, it's been says without any accidents - he had a couple of nights where he wet and then a couple of dry nights so I don't think we're quite there with nights yet
