She loves the big girl bed and hasn't fallen out yet! It does suddenly make her room feel tiny though - I wonder how long before she clocks that N has a big room and she has a little one .

I have just been getting all emotional pegging the cot duvet cover on the washing line for the last time . Honestly - must get a grip!

StealthPolarBear · 22/06/2010 12:09

hi everyone
my baby has a tooth, and is crawling!

CaptainDippy · 22/06/2010 13:16

Hello

Sorry, I posted a few days ago and said I would post again - what a liar I am!

Hope all is well.

Glad the big bed has proved successful.

All ok here; just busy doing not much iyswim!

Mum coming off chemo for 3 months from July which is good news. She has had an overload of it and her feet are all cracked; she is having to use udder cream to soothe them!!!
She will have a scan in July, but will still need to have a break regardless of the results.

Better go; K has gone out the front door.

CaptainDippy · 24/06/2010 19:03

Glad she is going to get a break SOL Sounds like she needs a lovely treatment at a lovely foot specialist, SOL - perhaps you could join her too - A Spa Day to celebrate a Chemo break!!!? Any excuse!!!! xxxx

Lovely to "see" you Luce Can't believe you've got one going to secondary school !! P's been potty trained for a few months, but DD1 was definitely still in nappies and very reluctant not to be in them at this age. xx

elkiedee · 30/06/2010 14:08

Hi all, sorry to have been absent for so long.

Danny's still in nappies although he has made huge progress to asking to go for a wee, a sudden breakthrough in April just before his third birthday in May.

He will be going to nursery at the nearest primary school in mornings from September, hopefully he'll then go to the same school. Our childminder is deserting us to go to Mecca and also to spend Ramadan in Saudi Arabia (where Mecca is) for 5 weeks late August-September. Eeek.

CaptainDippy · 30/06/2010 20:37

Eeek indeed Elkie - what are you going to do my lovely??

Great news Caz!

Lovely day out at the 'beach' yesterday (some ponds near us with sandy beach-type stuff) as N had an inset day.

Was down your way on Thurs Dippy, but no DDs in tow as was off to Glyndebourne (preen!). Dinner in very lovely pub on the South Downs - blissful day!

Other than that, all a bit bleurgh really - roll on the end of term (or maybe not )!

CaptainDippy · 06/07/2010 14:28

Oooooh, Glyndebourne [anvy] Lovely

CaptainDippy · 07/07/2010 11:46

Actually they are Alpacas!!! They share there field with a great big Camel (actually it is a Dromedary, as it only has one hump)!!

OP posts:
Bramshott · 07/07/2010 12:10

Ooh, you are well-informed! I drove past them on Thurs and though - "ooh llamas" - didn't notice the camel though!
