Evening girlies, is it wine oclock yet? It's been a tough day, I work with some unbelievable idiots people .

ds1 was invested at Beavers tonight . We recorded it and you can hear me laughing out loud when ds asks the Beaver leader "am I going to be arrested now" Ahhh, bless him.

cyteen I love both of those veils. I'd like a mix of the two - the flower of the first one on top of the tulle second one. Hard to please, moi?

and 12 weeks tomorrow dizzy blimey that's gone fast

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 20:36

lordy, you might want to get Pip some self defence lessons then we shall delighted to see you, absolutely delighted but please as much notice as possible so we can make sure we're not at sodding work!!

CaptainCaveman · 15/04/2010 20:37

miamla did i miss your 20week scan?

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 20:39

Dizz - we won't just pop in we will ask first Pip needs no help at the moment she made 2 four year old boys cry this morning over a playtray of dry pasta I was so very proud - they have spent the last 6 weeks terrorisong the littlies at our kiddies cafe!

Hiya CC

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 20:40

CC surrently bets are on to the gender of Pea - boys currently in the lead then girls then puppies

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 20:41

oops you'd be very welcome to drop in however I would be distraught if I had to leave because I was on shift or something horrid like that and well done Pip - atta girl!

hi CC

Miamla · 15/04/2010 20:45

hi cc, no, its next tues

dizz was going to ask why we were in the sand pit but the penny has dropped now!
DH will do it but only if he really has to! DS is growing into quite a little help, he loves transferring washing from the machine into the dryer and tries his very best to put the bigger stuff on the radiators! He also loves hovering and won't be fobbed off with me using the bit with the hose and just giving him an attachment, he has to have the hose, attachment and it must be turned on. He's getting better at dragging it round the room now as well! Next week we'll be covering 'sorting clothes into the correct drawers'! Now that does fox DH still so i think i'll include him on that course!

won't be matty leave till Oct Sazz - have to string it out as long as possible so finish as late as possible

hope you used some swear words

CaptainCaveman · 15/04/2010 20:53

Ah i see miamla, are you going to find out the flavour at the scan? My guess is....it's a baby! Whenever i hear someone ask a pg lady if she knows what she's having, I recall Jo Brand saying how much this annoyed her and she would make up random replies like "yes, it's a giraffe" . Made me laugh...

hi everyone

Why do I have to work with such twats?

GreenGardenia · 15/04/2010 21:02

Did I hear someone murmur Dublin? Oops I may have to hijack you on your way through!

ds2 loves emptying the dishwasher too. Clean / dirty he's not fussy, he'll happily tidy dump it all out. He's good at learning words now, yesterday he learned feather and gorse and today he learnt saddle and chain. I am sooooo proud! I love listening to his little chat at the moment. He doesn't really say r's or t's that well yet e.g. pable, pummy. He is so so sweet and his tummy is so round .

I am so of all these advancing pregnancies. Oopsy I can't believe yours is so CLOSE!!!!

GreenGardenia · 15/04/2010 21:02

CC I presume you are not referring to us?

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 21:05

GG - close? me? to what??

GreenGardenia · 15/04/2010 21:06

To giving birth I meant.

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 21:06

Eh up cece sorry to hear you are having a rough time at work. My job is shite but thankfully the team I work with are great which helps a lot. I'm sure it will be all change for us no matter who wins the election so should be grateful to have a job. Must confess to being rather and more than a little anxious at the prospect of a tory government

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 21:10

Nope not me

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 21:11

it's a phantom pregnancy like our dog had every year.

RedLentil · 15/04/2010 23:08

Both fascinators are lovely cyteen, but the tulle one is esp. elegant.

My favourite wedding guest was the one who told me I looked like Grace Kelly. She has since told me that she has never been drunker than she was that night, but I choose to believe her judgement wasn't impaired.

Buckets, I gave ds a true bollocking yesterday morning after he said he didn't feel right, dropped him at school and then he was ill. I'm mortified about it. You have to call it as you see it at the time.

Still gorging on election stuff. DS watched the first half hour of the debate and declared 'I understanded it all.' It was very funny. He warmed to Cameron when he did a 'burglars need locking up' speech, but then decided he liked Clegg because he 'he wants to get criminals before they go bad.' God, love him, his earnestness is a lovely thing. Off to catch up ...

TwilightSurfer · 15/04/2010 23:10

flashback....ELEMENTARY MATH!!

veil...tulle (i had to google what that meant).

ds2 for miamla

ds1 for dizzy

cranberry for uti...best if mixed with grape to drown it's horrible flavor

hots (((hugs)))

albs glad the bump's gone

grounded dd1 yesterday and it worked.

haven't been a shouty mom in 24 hours.

dizzy i'd drag you to pilates with me if you were close. as a matter of fact i'd drag you all with me because i love it and know you'd love my local studio too.

back to work...busy busy day

Gah, just lost a long post.

I spent the whole of a sunny afternoon driving up to Cork to sign a single sheet of paper at Ulster Bank so I could send lots of money to HM Revenue. Three children in the car to enhance the fun.

Luckily there was time to retrieve the situation by going to see my sister and check out this kitchen but we'd have it with a more blocky look with cream and then some ceiling to floor aubergine long units if that makes sense.

Yea or nay?

RedLentil · 16/04/2010 00:16

And that other post started with waving back to TS. Hello my dear.

Mil got to greedily shake hands with Gordon Brown twice. She is the one hopping about behind Gordon Brown's head at the end of the BBC 'Surestart centre' visit. She would only be drawn on Sarah Brown's shoe/tights combo though. [ffs]

Dh v. upset that his much-planned school trip to London theatres which was due to start on Monday is at risk. You wouldn't believe the amount of work he has put in to the whole thing.

Buckets, one of the highlights of my wedding was when one of the guests told me that I looked like Grace Kelly. She has since said that she has never been drunker before or since. I choose to believe that the drink did not impair her judgement.

springaporesling · 16/04/2010 05:09

red obviously a highlight as you mentioned it twice .

DS awake from 12 to 3.30 last night - sigh....

Dizzy to say we were momentarily in Dizzyland last week as visited Mabie farm near Dumfries which is close to DH's sister who lives what you might call the wrong side of the border. I think still a way from you though but my geography is rubbish.

Removal people here but having a break.

Am in the process of getting my postal vote but can any of you tell me which constituency my vote will count in? Am assuming that it will be the last place I was registered?

lwfh db and the new missus will be in BA next week so if you see a very tall couple wandering around it may well be them!

GreenGardenia · 16/04/2010 08:12

LOL at phantom pregnancy

Watched the 2nd half of the leaders' debate only tbh I didn't think any of them exactly switched on the charisma but I'm surprised how Nick Clegg is being singled out for good review this morning.

Springer good luck, great idea to hide at laptop till removal men do it all don't let them pack it.

Redser haven't looked at yr kitchen but will do so when I get back. God I hope your dh's trip doesn't get cancelled .
