Miamla Can your mum not come to you if needed? I know she's a PITA but you might be lucky and go into labour while he's asleep. Then if you need to go to hospital you could have a neighbour on standby to sit with him a few hours til she arrived.

Miamla · 15/04/2010 17:55

she could come here but i think i'll be happier knowing ds not in house and able to hear my screams quiet murmuring. good point re neighbour, we've got a lovely one next door who would take him if needed. anyhow, loads of time for sorting it all out

had a funny moment with my boss this week. he was asking when Pea was due (i have told him but he'd forgotten) and when i said August, his reply was "this year??!" Erm yes, i pointed out that in fact i wasn't an elephant!

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 19:16

lol miamla - am not looking forward to having to tell my work this week at all - the cows colleagues seem to have finally forgiven my last child so christ knows what they'll be like this time

and I'm guessing blue for you

names for dixiedot shall not be discussed till after the 12wk deadline - which is tomorrow

alittlebitshy · 15/04/2010 19:17

miamla you know i will always come and collect t. i know where your mum is now so could easily take him there.....

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 19:43

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 19:47

Oi enough with the snogging Dizz it's part of what got you in the state you are in now!

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 19:48
dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 19:49

sorry oops, I just got a touch excited seeing as hots and I have practically slept together, apart from a week

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 19:52

LOL Dizzy you are right! I still can't believe we didn't get to hang out although it was a relief to be nearer the bathroom

GladioliBuckets · 15/04/2010 19:56

Oh I'll say pink then too, I hate to be in the majority.

Dizzy Do you ever call D DeeDee? Then her nickname could be her initials (sort of, disregarding the C.) I had a hankering to do that if Kurt had been a girl, Beatrix was a contender for B.B. nickname.

Kurt discovered DD's recorder tonight and spent an ecstatic 10minutes stomping about in his John Wayne way tooting VERY LOUDLY. Was too cute to complain about the noise.

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 19:57

we will soon, first the cotswalds next bonnie scotland in the car - no stopping you now

hotterpotter · 15/04/2010 20:08

Dizz my SIL lives near Newcastle and DH's auntie lives at Alnwick so one of them will put us up on the way to yours

You are very brave nurturing allowing DS near a recorder buckets It takes me a lot of badgering to let DD have a go on one [evil mummy]

Sazz - I have made DH fish and chips, bought him beer and am leaving him, gordo, dave and nick to themselves downstairs - I am off to read me book and soak in a BIG hot bath.

Buckets - DD has a trumpet but it is hidden until I got our and leave her then I bribe her with it - that way I feel she is getting musical experience and I don't have to listen

Dizzy - we are planning to be up your way in the late summer. We are doing a few days in NI, Dublin and then bonnie Dizzyland on the way back. Dh said - you may want to visit your lovely internet buddy he is coming around to you lot!

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 20:17

thug/big bully/ her ringing any bells Sazz?!?

Buckets, am just trying to get her used to answering to Dylan at the moment but DeeDee could be short for either C or D tbh

Hots - sounds like a road trip is in order!

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 20:18

ooh Oops thats toooooo exciting - how far up into the land of Dizz are you planning?!

Miamla · 15/04/2010 20:27

albs thank you! i didn't even think of using you as a DS cab service but yes, could be very useful! Can i let you know in about ooh 19 weeks? ooh bloody hell, that doesn't seem that long away!!!!

three for pink (sazz, miamla, buckets), four for blue (springer, albs,VG,dizz) and one for a puppy (oops)

sazz i'm in the pink camp with you so you're not alone, oooh and now buckets has joined us!

hots have you recovered from all your snogging yet?

DS is great on the kazoo and then got a little confused when given a recorder. He's 'great' on it now though

actually, i had a real proud mum moment earlier...he was a genuine help in emptying the dishwasher. he was handing me plates which meant i didn't have to bend over (getting trickier every day with Pea!)

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 20:30

shuffles over to make room in sand for Miamla and WELL DONE you for dishwasher - I have only just managed to train DH

oopsandbabycoconut · 15/04/2010 20:34

Dizzy - We have friends in Biggar and also plan a little jaunt to Edinburgh will be making a special trip to Dizzyville - as I need to meet you all especially mididixie - she sounds like my kinda gal!
