LNT - I would like to assure you that because it took you ages to concieve first time does not mean it will take ages second time - We are living proof of that DD was nearly 6 years and lots of fertility treatment, this one was one Sunday afternoon with DD at the grandparents

LittleNutTree · 23/04/2010 21:08

oops!

poppysocks · 23/04/2010 21:22

My DD2 is also evidence of it being easier second time around. DD1 was a surprise but on the basis that we'd been told it was highly unlikely to happen naturally. Good luck LNT.

How exciting QOD! You are currently saving me from a truly shit film and a can't be arsed to find lost remote control. For that alone I am very grateful. Excited about a whole new potential life too. . Now, don't you dare disappear.

V. exciting for you too dizzy! Will prob. see A tomorrow so good to know that she knows now.

LOTI . Please don't feel that having their Dad at home is automatically better than not for the DDs. Not only are you not happy - and please don't kid yourself that they don't pick up on this (sorry to be harsh) - but you have to think about what kind of example this situation is setting for them (sorry for being even more harsh). In nearly all cases I feel strongly that every relationship is different and impossible to judge from the outside. However, you've been pretty consistent in your view of things. . If you have a chance, take a look back through our old threads.

Yeah I know. Just feeling very emotional at the moment - three year anniversary of bro's death on Monday. Three years ago right now we were all bedding down for the night in his hospital room, expecting him not to make it through the night after the last round of emergency surgery. It's a hard time.

(sorry for thread grimness)
