Home, well at the farm at least! Poor dd1 was rather I'll coming home but has made a remarkable recovery now here!! They've been out on the quad, seen to the horses, done veggie patch & chickens. Have finally persuaded them to stop for tea but I've been told theyre not going to bed till it's dark I doubt very much they will last that long lol. It's been a very lovely, very exciting few days between chez Sazz & here. Lovely. Just lovely

Btw, has anyone heard from no1 lately? I sent her a text last week just sending love and best wishes etc. but haven't had a reply...I know she's not likely to be online much at the moment but am slightly concerned given some of the things she said about what was going on with H.

no1 if you're lurking, sending lots of love to you! And sorry for being all mother-hen

TwilightSurfer · 12/04/2010 21:11

Dizzy I am deeply envious of you lovely trip. I'm desperate to travel and have relaxing fun.

Sazzles I was thinking what Cyteen said. Do you ever have a day where you do nothing?

The banging on my roof continues. I ran into my neighbor at the mall. She rose to the sound of their boom box apparently. I promised they would be finished by days end. So far they've put in 9 hours.

Longway I fed Reese formula from day 1. I promise there's no harm to it. As for sterilization, I used Playtex drop-ins which meant I only had to wash the nipples. We traveled a quite a bunch in those early months so often I washed those nipples with shampoo in the hotel bath sink.

Dose 1 of anti-b's administered. Fingers crossed it won't be a bad thing to give dose 2 before bed (less than 12 hours from the first dose). Tomorrow is my first studio class for the Spring Pilates Challenge and I dearly don't want to miss it. 6 weeks to SUPER ME! LOL! I also have my first shrink session in many years. I don't like how anxious I've felt lately so off to fix it with some talk therapy.

DH home and I have had to cook a real meal for the first time in days. I am sooooo happy he is home. DD was so excited she fell over 3x running to the car when he got home after work. He has bought the girls some lovely things and Hector no longer has a clothing shortage in newborn!

I am off to bath in my new mother-to-be bath milk. So I will smell fab when you next hear from me!

Sleep well all.

GreenGardenia · 12/04/2010 23:33

Lo all

Buckets I got mail!!! Merci looking fwd to getting stuck in.

Sazz lol at MIL tbh. Daftness, plus it sounds really weird for a parent to describe their child as too old for certain things. Unless me yelling at ds1 re state of bedroom, etc . I bet dh would be disgusted if the Paris trips etc were struck through on the calendar!

dizz glad you're home (or most of the way there!) hope dd1 ok and that farm fun cured her of (travel?) sickness.

longway you've been feeding for a looooong time now so it's ok to be a bit fed up (geddit??? did you see what I did there??? didja???) but I think if you feel strongly about getting to 6 months you've come so far (sorry, sounds patronising...) between the 2 of them that you can def. make the last furlong. Do you think?

TS glad to hear you are off for a chat, you've been out of kilter for a wee while it seems. I think your pil sound fine as beachside companions tbh.

GreenGardenia · 13/04/2010 06:50

Oooh last out and first in, look at me!

Hmm what can I offer - nice coffee, anyway, a vast pot of tea - no actual munchies yet but that'll keep you all going till 7.

GreenGardenia · 13/04/2010 07:51

I worked a full day at work yesterday and have just filed some copy before 8am.

Truly, I am in the Sazztastic league.

OK so copy was due yesterday, and I am also aware that plenty of you go to work for a full day without finding it necessary to highlight this.

Morning

Greast work VG - Now what is on today's agenda

Sazz - hope you are running by now!

DD decided at 11.45 that it was time to get up and wouldn't initiallly take no for an answer - I settled her 3 times then left her for 5 minutes and when I went in she had huge wet cheeks telling me she loved me and wanted up pleeeeeeeese. at about 1 I realised the cover we put over the nightlight on her monitor had come off (why did it take me over an hour to notice???) so I covered it over and did a bit of PUPD and she was gone in 5 minutes, I had to go in twice more to lie her down but only the once each time. She then came in with us at 6.45 and slept until 8. DH brought her down and let me sleep untill 9.

Off for blood tests this morning and taking DD to the new NCT upto 2 group to sus it out for a friend who it trying to avoid someone who won't take NO for an answer!

laters

TwilightSurfer · 13/04/2010 10:59

ATTENTION:
Reese went to bed at 6:30PM. It is 5:57AM and she is STILL SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to bed at 8pm but vaguely remember standing up around 12pm making a circle by my bedside, wondering what the hell was I up for, then return to slumberland. 5AM alarm was not well received.

Hey ladies,

I feel totally out of the loop, and haven't a chance in hell of catching up Well at least I have a working computer again!
All ok here, although S being very whingy this morning.
Had lovely picnic in the park on saturday which S loved. He wore himself out completely. It was funny watching him try to throw the frisbee

Really hope everyone's ok.
Can someone fill me in what's up with No1? And why was Oops's DH away?

GladioliBuckets · 13/04/2010 11:19

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey QOD, was thinking about you yesterday. Glad everything's ok, is your new house still all you dreamed of?

No1 has moved into her mum's but her DH has been making a pest of himself last we heard.

Miamla got married last week, some meet-ups occurred... Are you on the secret Aug08 Facebook group? Some pics there.

QueenofDreams · 13/04/2010 12:06

Hey buckets
House is good thanks It really is much better than the last place.

I need to figure out who all is pregnant now. Last I knew was oops and miamla

Welcome home QOD we have missed you, on here and fb Good to hear you are ok and S is enjoying life too

Nothing to report here....usual busy day at work

TwilightSurfer · 13/04/2010 18:17

Sazzles you follow orders so well.

Queenie ((((hug)))) welcome back to the world of nutters.

Speaking of nutters, cried to the shrink today. Crikey she hardly knows me. Guess I've got some issues. I liken it to acne: most will look beyond it, true friends will offer you products to help it, most times you just need to pinch it so it can begin to heal.

Pilates class was ACES! A good friend is joining me for this 6 week challenge WHICH IS DOUBLE ACES!! No time for lunch...CRUD! Eating crackers with cream cheese and olives with a Dr Pepper now....not really a "meal" but it's all the kitchen had to offer.

NOTE TO SELF: GO GROCERY SHOPPING

evening all, shattered from working, Pea feeling heavy and i haven't started dinner yet but you know what, life's good

GreenGardenia · 13/04/2010 20:38

Aww spot the happily married missus .

Hope your shrinkage was useful TS & that you are going back for more. Pilates challenge sounds great.

oopsandbabycoconut · 13/04/2010 21:32

Evening all

Just had a blazing row with BT who claim I haven't paid my broadband account but we pay by whole bill direct debit so how can I not have paid?? After 5 mins of Yes MrsOops, I can't tell you MrsOop, it will be back in 24 hours MrsOops, we have no control over these things . All hell broke loose and after a short sharp conversation with a manager regarding withdrawing all our accounts the internet was miraculously back within 5 minutes? Too much hassle to move accounts anywhere else but what they don't know won't hurt them.

Miamla - Hector is also heavy today she has a body part on my hip and keeps stretching out tall and hurting me. You sound so blissfully happy

Hi VG - how is DS2 today?

Hi QOD good to see you

TS - pleased R was well enough for you to go to pilates today - you are going to be (more) buff at the end of the 6 weeks.
