Thought we don't give a shit could cause issues for thems that don't like swearing.

Spring clean day today. Urgh. Freecycle and ebay galore.

I need iron am all wibbly.

Um, forgotten most of what I meant to say.

Frizbe - gonna send you a cheque. I typed in your bank details wrong and it bounced back

Strawberry not a well bunny. Hoping it is just a bug, but she has a suspiciously poxy looking spot too...

I don't miss the whole constant feeding thing. How old is he now?

I'm good. Struggling a smidge with the big two fighting lately. I really have to clamp down on them I think. Getting pissed off with being single though.

6 months and a couple of days now.

Are you not still seeing the other bloke?

readinginsteadnow · 06/01/2011 12:30

She should be. He looks nice. Suitable Smile

Hello everyone. I do love you all, just once it falls off active, its out of my radar! Plus prexmas was manic. In my defence, Ive texted flame a reasonable amount, and emailed Jas once!!!

Phoenix · 06/01/2011 13:45

Hello :)

Lewis started school full time yesterday (he had been going mornings since September) He enjoyed it :)

I don't look on threads I'm on anymore cos I'm rarely on any so I keep my regular threads in threads I'm watching :o.

Hope everyone's doing ok and happy new year :)

Flame · 06/01/2011 17:00

Yes, I am still not seeing him. I am now hopelessly in love with him :( It is hell. He went on a date last week. He also still doesn't have feelings for me, yet came round on xmas day and boxing day, and kept the gift tag from the present I gave him Hmm

Driving him to Bristol on Saturday as he has just switched to night shift and neither of us think he will make the journey first thing in the morning without falling asleep at the wheel.

Hello.
Happy New Year to you all. Seriously slacking in the mn department. I've dropped off all threads since Christmas, and am surfacing once a month on the FLY threads.

I haven't saved the thread. I have to search through PN threads. If we ever drop off the first page there I will be really lost.

I've been following your night time traumas csws. DS is regularly up til midnight, despite a full term of f/t school behind him, so I have no advice, but lots of sympathy.

I've had a couple of days working as a dinner lady at dd2s school, but am mostly bored at home. The more time I have, the less I seem to do.
We are making more serious plans to do our loft this year. DS and DD2 sharing is not helping with the lack of sleep issues, and dd2 DEFINITELY needs more privacy now.

Phoenix · 07/01/2011 18:47

Right if any of you are around will you look at the photo on my profile and tell me honestly how I look. It's my 30th birthday party tomorrow and I bought myself a dress to wear. I normally don't do dresses. I'm nervous :o

I've been keeping up with your lack of sleeping children too csws. We've got a non sleeping one here too so I completely sympathise although my one is probably down to me bringing him into our bed when he wakes up.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/01/2011 19:39

You're in love with your rebound fella flame? What happened with him then? I didn't know that you weren't seeing him anymore.

Eek for ds being up so late Jas. Does he still manage to get up in time for school ok?

I like the dress Phoenix. Really suits you.

Ooh - ds2 awake (always wakes after half an hour) so better dash.

Borisismyhousespider · 07/01/2011 23:01

Blinking eck! people talking on this thread Grin

Nice dress Phoenix Smile have a great time at your party tomorrow and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope the slushy snow is gone for you...

Flame it's ME! Hmm (as CSWS pointed out Smile) can't believe you've not noticed Hmm

Jas, seperate rooms is a good idea, we (ok I with my dad and his OAP discount card for B&Q) brought floor boards for our loft this week, got them home, discovered they won't go through current hatch Hmm by about 7mm.....long term plan was to convert loft, might be sooner rather than later now we can't get the boards thru current hatch! Confused

CSWS I've been following your saga too, you have my sympathies.

So my kids started their new school this week, dd1 is going about making friends by not playing with them, as they're not doing anything she wants to do Hmm and going off to play with older kids......although she did relent and play with the other new kid in class (phew wasn't the only new starter) today! so she might start mixing by end of next week......
dd2 meanwhile shocked teachers, as they got mixed up and put her in with the Jan starters! (again good for her not to be the only newbie tho) so when they collared me on day 2 and said, how come she can do basic reading (the, cat, mat etc that you get in those 1st few books they give you) and slide up writing, they looked very embarrased when I said, we'll she started in Sept?! (yes full time, cause that's what they do in other counties!!) hence the other school uniform she'd been in for the 1st few days??? they went 'doh' sorry, we had her in the wrong group......Confused all sorted now though and bar the mash being funny at dinner time I think they're both happy with the new school and house Smile

Borisismyhousespider · 07/01/2011 23:02

PS: Oi norf london reading lady, add us to watched thread (as per phoenix) then you won't loose us Grin how's the boys?

readinginsteadnow · 08/01/2011 08:56

Really nice dress phoenix, and i coul;d see it perfectly as i'm lying in bed so photo was right way up Grin . I also noticed how many toys!!!!

I miught change again, or delete all my posts and strt afresh incognito Sad

Kids fine thanks, altho similar issues to the jas house. Hmm

readinginsteadnow · 08/01/2011 08:57

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grin

Flame · 08/01/2011 10:53

Happy Birthday - like the dress :)

CSWS - We were on. Then we were off due to an ex issues (and partly me still not being over XH). Then we were in a friends with benefits set up which he couldn't handle (big girl needed emotions and stuff), so we became just friends again. Then I fell for him properly :( He knows how I feel. I haven't a bloody clue how he feels now. He says one thing then does another. From what I can tell he is of the opinion that we are better off as "friends" and it never ending, than it being more and it going wrong. I should walk away from the whole bloody lot, but I can't. Seeing him in a bit. Was meant to be driving him to Bristol today but he called at half seven to say it had been cancelled.

Anyway - I now have a date lined up with Pixel next week (all have random names), I am possibly seeing Matt tonight (not random name as he is real and not internet) - he is a 21 yr old personal trainer Wink. He announced interest the first day me & Boy split, but have never done anything about it. Oh and I got a "my mate fancies you, please will you come speak to him" set up in the pub last night, but he was 18 and looked about 14 at the oldest Shock. Considered just going over and kissing him to make his night, but he just looked too young.

Boris - SORRY!!!!! Blush

Posts to read ShockShock

Too late to comment on the dress, but I will look anyway. Hope the party went well.

CSWS - I have to wake him up and drag him out of bed every day, but once he is up, he shows no signs of being tired. Sleeps til gone 9 at the weekend thoughGrin

Boris - glad you are settling in at the new place.

Flame - I don't envy you with the dating, but 18!! I know you are alot younger than me, but my friends daughter is datin g a boy older than that!!

Borisismyhousespider · 11/01/2011 22:25

Reading, why do you need to change your name (what did I miss?)

Flame you're forgiven Grin

Jas, I'm envious, mine always get up early at weekends drives me bonkers!!

CSWS {{{Big Hugs}}} your household sounds not much fun at the moment, glad you have some sleeping pills to help the boy get re settled for a few days, how long is dh gone for?

We've just had days of sickness here, ss puked all over one of the stores on Sat, so I had lots of fun getting that out of the carpet, off the tables etc Hmm then we got home that night and dd1 started, then all was calmer for sunday, just the ticking time bomb that is possible sickness, then dd2 developed a raging temp on Mon....she's been off school yest and today, I'm hoping that as she seems a lot better tonight, that by tomorrow she'll be back at school so I can go to work! (finally)

EachPeachPearMum · 16/01/2011 23:39

Hello all! Smile

Anyone slightly surprised they are about to be the mother of a 5yo?

Is MrsDrOH MM? Confused

It has been the month of hospital appointments- DD's grommets worked, and she has a heart murmur, but it is benign, which means they need to investigate further why she is tired the whole time... except as our household seems to mirror CSWS's... there's no point in checking out anything atm because of course neither of them are sleeping much before 9 in the evening... grrr.

Boris- take it you haven't moved v far?

Flame- glad to hear there is a lovelife, even if it's not particularly stellar atm... onwards and upwards!

Hope all are well...

Flame · 17/01/2011 19:40

Well Pixel didn't happen in the end, but I did meet Download - now seen him a couple of times. Still messing about with the whole meeting up with Matt thing - the man is all talk and abs I think.

No idea what "Is MrsDrOH MM?" means Blush

Yay for grommets working EPPM but :( for needing to investigate more.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 17/01/2011 22:00

Sorry- MrsDoctorOwenHunt = MM who joined us breifly preiously?

Borisismyhousespider · 17/01/2011 23:39

EPPM yay for grommets, but Sad for heart murmur and further investigations, hope everything turns out ok. Sorry to hear your having the same sleep issues as CSWS's household....we've moved about 30 miles, so not ages away, but a lot of hassle!

MrsDrOwenHunt · 18/01/2011 09:15

yes its me xxxx ds started full time on the 5th jan, miss him loads!!

Flame · 18/01/2011 18:06

Ok, so Download has realised I am a tad unstable and far too high maintenance and run for the hills. Ho Hum.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 19/01/2011 14:34

Well to be fair, he's prob not wrong at the moment flame.

Ah, I hadn't realised that was you mm.

Um, can't remember anything else and no quick scroll on iPad.

Oh yes, I'm tired. Quelle surprise.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/01/2011 14:36

Ah of course - grommets good :). Heart murmur not so good but not the end of the world (j has one too). Tiredness bad. Are we def talking clinically tired, or could it just be down to rubbish sleep habits?

Flame · 19/01/2011 17:29

Lol @ "at the moment" Wink:o

Went on a date with new guy today (he asked me... I didn't go out hunting Blush). Finally not an Andy. Seemed like a nice guy. Gonna see him again.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 19/01/2011 21:05

Not sure of features/benefits of Download and Pixel... is there a thread somewhere Flame? Yay! for date though... hope he is lovely to you.

CSWS- yes, tiredness not good, though it is too masked by the bedtime behaviour atm, seems to be genuine and long-term... we have noticed it for at least 8 months now, and she had a period of sleeping really well, but with no effect on her tiredness, and when we've discussed it we realise she's never really had any stamina- DS could walk home from nursery at 18mo, but DD couldn't until 3y- of course until we had him we didn't realise that was abnormal IYSWIM.

boris- did you move in a southerly direction? Are the 2 business ventures still going well? (I seem to have been absent longer than I intended)

Jas- DD still asks for your DD2 by name! She was ovbiously very taken with her Smile
