We have booked holiday for next summer btw, to isle of wight. Going with friends from mn. Should be a blast, as all the kids get on really well, as do all the adults.

I keep saying No... as a batch of my mums side of the family have moved there and I'll be expected to visit/stay when I hardly know them!

Well csws, dp is back with the same firm as before again this week. 5 am start, and a long drive but there isn't any one else offering him work just now, so I get up with him at 5 and make him lunch. (he feels a bit more supported and not quite so miserable that way, and I can go back to bed once he's gone!)

I'm really slacking with Christmas buying. Not really done enough at all this year yet.

DS is still being a terror. I lost him at school this week - DD2 eventually found him in someones garden next door to the school. I'm threatening to get the reins back out if it happens again!

And dd1 has discovered that when she reaches her texting limit on her phone, nothing stops her from carrying on. Until the bill arrives. She did at least have the sense to fess up, and it WON'T be happening again!

ARGH.....that's all I'm saying about this house moving business at the moment....I have a house to move to a week on monday, which is good and I have the keys to it now, which is good.....now I have multiple options on what happens to the one I'm in now and I/we have to decide what the hell to do before monday morning when dh was supposed to be at the solicitors doing house movey things, but now we have other offers and options 'facepalm' I think I'm thankfull that nothing is signed yet....

Much sympathy. It is so stressful when things go smoothly. I hope you have good news on Monday.

Right, morning all I am/we are moving house next monday (gibber) movers are booked, dh has been doing solicitory things this morning, we are sticking with the original buyers/plan. sigh of huge relief!! or will be once I've packed......more boxes arriving tomorrow

Just a quick update from here, still got stuff to wrap tonight but did manage most friends stuff yest and will be dropping it around to everyone I can tonight when I finish work at 4pm....
House a bomb site! boiler broke down....plumber has sorted hot water, but random sensor is causing flow ishoos to radiators......it's a new boiler too, condensor n everything! damn.....new car broke down too....had it for 5 days.....three days later I've extracted a courtesy car from the dealership, so that's a minor win.... I'm hoping that's our crap luck done for 2010. Thankfully off to parents for Xmas day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR all! had a lovely chilled out day here, baking ham for a family visit tomorrow, short walk (skates for dd1) general fiddling with the house and playing with xmas goodies So nice to have a day with the whole family at home!

It has been a long time since you've been on. How are things?

Yes, all asleep at last. I got 12 mins between ds1 going to sleep and ds2 waking for a feed, and dd popped down whilst I was feeding too, to complete the hatrick. But all asleep now. Although not for long I don't suppose, since ds2 rarely does more than 1.5hrs tops after his first night feed.
