I do have two sets of friends who split and then got back together stronger than before, and my bf is currently considering starting again with her ex who left her when ds was tiny...

Mum starts chemo next week, so I am taking the children up tomorrow to see her before she starts to look ill. Yes, csws, it was found in lymph nodes, and was more aggressive than they originally thought, so it is going to be a very long year for her I think.

Having chilled out day at home here, kids played with other kids on close, at ours, then at theirs, then back at ours, dh's mate came round, drank lots o tea n coffee, that's about it, dinner cooking now, spicy chicken and potato gratin, om nom nom

Hope you've all had an ok Bank Hols, our's has been ok, dh mainly wired into the Xbox, slight cause of minor strop by me last night I dragged the girls to Matlock for play on park and chips for tea, he realised we were leaving and insisted on coming (not sure why he bothered, as he'd ignored us all day, although no doubt he'd argue that it was his day off too...)
I got lots of cleaning done though, the car, the garden, kitchen windows and blinds, all the light fittings, airvents etc and of course I've had lots of time with the kids too, chalking, bike ride watching, puppet shows (and making, dd1 won some at school!)
I managed half hour to self tonight, when I dragged my fat ass out for a run, according to the running meter thingy on google it was 1.77 miles (bah it felt longer!)

I am becoming horribly dmesticated Entire easter doing gardening and stuff and gonna rearrange fron t room today (again!)

Circus tonight; half price tickets.

dDid aquarobics with lots of old people on TThurs .. free pass.

We still have no heating thankfully it's a lot warmer now! Um- MIL lives v close, and we could go there... but she has no central heating at all (ie not installed) so no thanks! :P

Took dd1 to here yesterday morning www.nottinghamcontemporary.org/art/star-city was odd, but interesting, she was a little unsure of the darkened room exhibits at 1st (movies) but warmed to it, shame we couldn't go into the giant spacesuit, as there was a bunch of students in there.....tours only
Then we had a lovely day wandering around town and John Lewis! (an hours wait for new shoe fitting ) looking at lots of things we can't afford, but can dream about!

Today I've done nothing Pjs all day, boys have been indoor camping! Did sell some v tech games on ebay tho; hurray! And ordered 2 new scooters for the kids from tescos... dh got his annual bonus, so we have about £300 to spend Scooters were half price, and got a rug for fromy room, using some clubcard voucers and some money.

REarranged front roo... looks v good. Bad news is, had to take pole down to make it all fit Not sure what gonna do; bdroom is sloped roof so cant go in there.

Too wet for gardening. Need 7 more rolls of turf, and I can only carry one at a time, so thats 7 trips to B&Q

Seeing friend at weeekend so hope forecast is true! Really looking forward to just me nad ds1 going, and nosing round huge extension.
