rubyslippers · 23/04/2010 12:57

Cheers - have requested you as a friend

what is Farmville? My sister seems to love it...

do i have time for it

HappyTangerine · 23/04/2010 13:21

Littlepea Poor, poor Faith, what rotten luck for her. Big hug from me.

HC Playdate sounds tough, how disappointing for your dd. Course sounds interesting though.

ruby Farmville is apparently addictive

Calypso Well done on getting through your renovation! I so miss having my own home (I renovated it and the garden), often wonder how it is.

fidelma Your birthday celebrations sound lovely

Iggly thanks for the babyproofing tips, I think I'm going to have to sort somthing out this weekend.

princessmel I really feel for you re the tiredness. Ive done that with the carpet/lose grip slightly as well and felt awful but no harm done. Hope you get a break this weekend

Am happy to add anyone as FB friend also...feel free to ignore my political/next door neighbour rantings (we are still getting our daily dose of Susan Boyle). Twinkle-have added you now-not sure what I managed to do with my security settings but I am apparently invisible to most

Weaning-oh dear God, the nappies! Am developing a strong stomach. Joe had porridge in the morning, then chicken and vegetables lunch yesterday- q smooth, then apple and pear pm. Apricot porridge today, then apple and mango lunch then dinner will be lentil bake. Am quite enjoying it now.

I am cutting my hair short on Wednesday, but before then am planning a nice sunday at a National Trust property with a picnic-we got NT membership a few weeks ago and I'm planning on making good use of it this year!

Right, must go iron x

littlepea72 · 23/04/2010 13:32

Thank you everyone for asking about Faith, poor wee thing , its not nice. Doctor came over as she is in such a bad way. On her eyelids, in her throat, and her bum is so bad that she cant wear a nappy now. She is covered & in so much pain. But the doc gave her an injection & she has meds to take, so we hope she will get some sleep.

Will get to read all posts when DH gets back later, he has been away for 3 nights on a course. Need cake!!!

HappyTangerine · 23/04/2010 13:38

. Hope the meds help Faith get some sleep, sounds so painful. I'm quite upset for you both. Sending hugs and get well vibes x

Scout19075 · 23/04/2010 14:51

Marking my space -- recently in from Sing & Sign and Sebby's asleep. Don't really want to wake him up, but think he'll get more sleep not in his carseat, so am going to ever so gently get him out and into bed. Fingers crossed!

Anyone can feel free to FB friend me as well I don't play FarmVille (have been purposely avoiding it even though I think every single one of my friends plays!) but do play some other very addictive games. Someone (forgive me, I can't remember who) had mentioned international pictures in our group photo album I have a whole photo album of pics from our first US trip, including on the plane. Some of them are very amusing!

HappyTangerine · 23/04/2010 15:50

Can I pick your brains please? Joseph has developed a little rash/bumpy skin on his face over the last few days but today it seems worse and I can't work out where it's from-weaning/suncream or excema? Its mostly above his top lip and chin, a little on his cheeks and a little which has spread to his eye and few spots on his forehead. Not itchy but rubs his left eye a lot while sleepy and I think I can see a few bumps there. I've stopped using wipes. Did any of your dcs get a rash on the face when weaning? I can post a pic on our fb group if it will help. Not sure what to put on it.
TIA

rubyslippers · 23/04/2010 18:53

HT - my DS had a rash when i gave him egg

It was dotted round his mouth and chin and faded after a while

may also be a combo of heat rash etc

Hope Faith is ok - she sounds like she has a really bad case

BellaCullen · 23/04/2010 21:59

littlepea poor faith sounds like she got a bad case but glad she got some meds for it.

princessmel glad you got some rest when he napped during day and hope he sleeps ok tonight. It takes a few days of less sleep and then it will all get better.

HC what a horrible playdate.
And love playing farmville too its so addictive so feel free to add me on FB.Warning to anyone else farmville very addictive and can take some off your time up,it`s already too late for me

Calypso Nathaniel didnt get the BCG jab as they only give to children from certain countries and Germany wasnt on the list. Can`t remember whether ds1 and dd got it.

Scout am keeping all the baby stuff just in case we have a fourth not anytime soon though.Had kept everything after ds1 and dd and just had everything stored in the garage.
Hope the teeth will come through soon.Am sure Nathaniel is teething too as been so miserable for the last week and last two days had red cheeks too.

HT sounds like he reacted to some food or suncream have you giving him any new food?

Got dds party in sun shes so excited as had to be a month after her actual birthday as the easter holiday were in the way just after it.Have a good weekend all
xx

fidelma · 23/04/2010 23:00

jUST A QUICKIE AS WE HAVE BEEN ENTERTAINING BUT THEY HAVE NOW GONE HOME. (sorry caps on !)

Littlepea I am very sad for F.I also feel upset for her.I hope she is doing better tomorrow.I will pass the wine to you.

HT All mine have bad reactions to sun cream, I managed to find an aloe vera one which did not cause the rash.I can let you know what it is if you need to know.

I can't make up my mind weather to wake C for a dream feed or just go to bed.

fidelma · 24/04/2010 05:12

I am just doing a bit of Controled crying with C.A bit stressful as I know that I could of just fed him to sleep.I last fed him at 2 am only feed.I am not going to feed until 6.

I have been eatting a piece of birthday cake and watching Jonathan Ross on the iplayer.(just loui from Pineapple)

All is now silent I am back to bed hopefully for a bit of such eye.

littlepea72 · 24/04/2010 07:29

Now I have been able to catch up on the posts, so this could be a long one....sorry

Bella great news that N has put on weight, you must be really happy

Ruby how is the sleep going with Rubes? Was seeing the sleep consultant good?

Twinkle those kichens are to die for! We have always had small horrible army ones, that never change with every house, im so lol.

HT how is Joseph sleeping now, is it still as good? My DS had a rash on his body/face when he was little, it turned out to be suncream. I can only use certain types on him. I also got my hair cut off about a month ago, best thing i did! Having a baby/infant takes up so much time, at least the hair is easy to manage.

Iggly how is William getting on with his atemps to crawl? Thats when the trouble starts!

Mel how is your DD? Is she back to normal??

Scout any teeth showing yet? I kept my DS's buggy & cot the first time round. I always said i never wanted anymore children so got rid of everything else. Glad I kept those, as they are the things that cost the most! Anything now that Faith outgrows, im selling off, or giving away. Bet you are glad to see the flights returning to normal!

bra's.....man.....I now have only 1 left! Everytime i get pregnant (3 times, lost 1) I get bigger, and they never go back down again! But i hope with slimming world i lose weight on my boobs, I used to be a D cup, now a EE cup, also used to be one off those woman who got it so wrong and squeezed them into a B cup !

I joined slimming world on Monday, so far have lost.....4lb's!!!! Its so great, never hungry anymore.

Twinkle HC & Scout will add you as FB friends....HC I love farmville too!

Faith has even more spots now , bad night again, but such a happy wee thing this morning, so hope things are getting better for her now. I hate that they cant tell you what is wrong, its heartbreaking when they scream/cry so much.

Now for some good news....yes i really do have some (for once lol) My DS's "Proposed statement of special educational needs came through, after everyone had sent their assessments in. They are all agreed that he matchs the patterns of high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and it would be in his best interest to be returned to NI, where his family are & where he his old school are trained to cope with him, giving him a better change with his schooling. He also see's the Pead doctor on tuesday & the Dr from London on Wed. They will both put a name to it then....after years off waiting & asking, its about to happen!
We are moving back home on the 9th June so little time!! House in army base at Aldergrove, school ready for him in Sept, its almost perfect. Just wish my DH was able to come with us, but he will fly back every couple of weeks for a weekend. So, I will keep you updated with what happens next week.

Sorry if i missed anyone out, hope you are all doing well, little ones too....have a great weekend!! Fidelma you have made me hungry for cake again!

littlepea72 · 24/04/2010 07:36

FB friend me also everyone!!

fidelma · 24/04/2010 07:46

littlepea I am delighted about your ds results.I think it will be great being back at home.My army friend is about to do the same, it is tough in the army.

Connor went back to sleep until 7am.Only one feed in the night.so 6.30-7am best night for us.

twinklegreen · 24/04/2010 08:02

littlepea that's fantastic about your ds's statement and move home glad Faith seems a bit better this morning, Amelie has chicken pox too (as well as dd1 and ds)

OP posts:
littlepea72 · 24/04/2010 08:25

Fidelma well done to Connor!!! Hope you had a great sleep

Twinkle poor Amelie Faith started off with a mild dose of CP about 2 months ago, but she is covered now. At least they all have it over them now, its so much harder when they are older. Can i recommend cake...for yourself...makes it so much easlier lol

HappyTangerine · 24/04/2010 15:31

littlepea What fabulous news about your ds, you're going to be home very soon!

fidelma I think its suncream too so yes please to the aloe suncream you recommend

Off to not enjoy the gorgeous weather-am in the middle of a cleaning frenzy. Indoors best place for me at the mo, pollen count v v high here today.

Igglybuff · 24/04/2010 20:39

Just marking my spot, will catch up properly tomo. Have been out in the sun today although sneezing loads!

HumphreysCorner · 24/04/2010 20:56

HappyTangerine · 25/04/2010 09:47

Iggly Sterimar seawater spray - fantastic for hayfever. Massive help to me last year when pg and couldn't take anything.

Bella-forgot to answer you yesterday- Joseph sleeping very well at the moment-hope it lasts! How was dd's birthday party?

Lol-I have to keep referring back to our fb group to remember who's who. I've added all requests and fixed the security settings as well, I think so am no longer invisible to most. Its getting harder and harder to avoid farmville...

How are the poorly chicken pox babies? A bit better I hope.

I watched 2012 last night-oh dear!

Have a fab day everyone, hope the weather stays good x

littlepea72 · 25/04/2010 13:43

Faith didnt sleep all day yesterday, and only about an hour last night so I sat up all night watching funny films & cleared the kitchen of anything bad, ate the lot!.....so much for my diet lol, have bought big cake just incase it happens tonight again

rubyslippers · 25/04/2010 20:07

HC - sounds like you have been busy baking. I have done a big online shop to fill the freezer up this week

fidelma - yay for Connor's sleep - how fab

hope everyone is doing ok - weather gorge here. DH took the kids to the seaside and i had a girly day out - first time since Rubes was born

Sleep training going well - Feed her before her bath and into bed by 6.45 pm. Feeding her at 10 ish and she is going through until 3 ish. We are having to actually wake her up at 7.15 am so she is giving us a much better stretch of sleep already
