Hi Albiesmummy What did you have then?
Don't say a baby !

Do you have any other DC's?

Oh weightwatchers, it's just soooooo sameolshitagain........oh I like that, I should change my name to that. Well not my real name, that would be silly, just my MN name .

Anyway, sidetracked by dilerious exhaustion.....Im fed up with my weight. I used to always be a tiny wee thing, size 8. What happened? Oh yes, DS then DD and whole lot of sitting in coffee shops after that!

I've been back and forward to WW, never taking it too seriously and never getting to my goal weight of 8.7 stone (im only 5'2).
Today (At 10 stone)I dragged the books out of my cupboard, blew off the dust and there it was, the points system - YAWN!
It looks like Ive been eating double my daily points a day so that explains the half stone .
It say's I can have 10 extra points for BF. Surely not?
I have to get the finger out though because I feel frumpy and hate flashing my 4 tyres when BF - worse than getting my boobs out!
I dream of skinny jeans and trendy tops. Underwired bra's, having time to get my hair done and the day when DS stops asking if the baby is still in my tummy!

alibobins · 22/03/2010 20:50

wmdo Ds1 asked if I was having a little sister for DD lol lol

Just had a read through all the stuff and my tummy is rumbling already lol I'm rubbish at dieting but I really need too x x

CantThinkofFunnyName · 22/03/2010 21:33

WMDO - 5'2" here too. Have never been below a 10, but am a comfy size 12 at 8 1/2 stone. So - that's my goal weight too. Would be happy to get to 9 at the moment - but still 1-1/2 stone to lose to get to that. Yes - am currently a munter!

whensmydayoff · 23/03/2010 08:43

Morning,
CTFN, eh? Im a size 8 at 8 1/2 stone (not that i've been there for 4 years or more)!

How can we be the same height but at the same weight be 2 dress sizes different - that's weird.

Unless your actually 4ft 10 and your mum just told you your 5ft 2 to make you feel taller - ha!!

Im the same, 9 would be fine but even that seems a loooooong way off right now.

Our insentive has to be spring/summer and having our lovely 6 month old babies, on solids and sleeping through the night . We can be yummy mummy's on 8 hour sleep a night and wearing our old wardrobes (well, thats what I tell DH but obviously we will shop our wee legs off)!

Ahhh, dreaming now.

Oh we could have an online WW weigh in on a Monday. Im a genius - that would be fab!! Who else wants to join in. We can confess our weights on Monday morning, egg each other on then have weigh in's next again Monday. Im sadly excited by this. Any takers?

How is Jacob this morning ali?

Partyofseven · 23/03/2010 10:22

Mormimg all

waves to crumpette we're all good here thanks for asking.

Erin has also found her little fist and how to slobber all over verything, her little gum also has two little white marks on them, TEETH at 8 wks surely not.

I'll join in the monday morning weigh in. I haven't actually weighed myself since giving birth but am back in most of my clothes just with a rather unattractive jelly belly. I will have to buy some new scales at weekend.

ali hope life with your little poorly man isn't to stressful, and he is feeling better soon.

off to find biscuit - before weigh ins start - I figure if i weigh more then i'll lose more.

Newbeginning1 · 23/03/2010 10:32

Hi everyone and welcome Albiesmummy Ali - how is Jacob doing and how are you doing? I hope that you and DH have managed to get some rest.

Ladies, i'm very impressed at you doing WW. I'm using the fact i'm breastfeeding as an excuse not to do it although I am trying to exercise more so fingers crossed that might do something. I'm meant to be taking DS swimmingb tomorrow so i'm going to have to get into a swimsuit

CTOFN - i hope you're working out how many points you earned with your jiggy time with DH!!! There are some people doing WW at work and they're charting up how many points they earn but they've said they will only count walking etc if you're wearing trainers so we've decided for jiggy time to count you need to be wearing trainers. [hmmm] I don't think it will catch on.

LL - how are you and the girls doing?

How is everyone else doing? I've managed to add some pics of my little man on here, i'm very impressed with myself.

alibobins · 23/03/2010 10:41

We are okay this morning feeling much more positive x x

I'll join the weekly weigh in but a bit at how much I weighed x x

newbeginning your pictures are lovely he looks such a happy baby is he any better I read on your other thread that he has been full of cold x x

crumpette · 23/03/2010 11:21

Oh my you've made me feel a lot better

OK
So

I have gained weight since DS was born. Yes, gained weight. My clothes are now very tight. When he was born I had a reasonably slim tummy (really!) now it is all gigantuous. I have been eating ffaaar too much chocolate since he was born and have been sitting on my backside on MN and eschewing all exercise or contact with outside world

last night DP said 'are you sure you're not pregnant??' and I said 'er, yes' and he said' you have a huge bump! you look pregnant! you are massive, you had a flat tummy after hewas born and now you have an obvious bump, there is no way you are not pregnant, it's all on your tummy'

so I said 'but I have been eating chocolate and generally doing nothing at all'

and he said 'no. no you are really big'

5'3 by the way and 10 stone, size '11'

maybe I should join your weekly weigh in!!

Actually, I have just consumed a whole bar of dark choc for breakfast with a cup of coffee. Is that bad? I reason it is 85% cocoa and therefore healthy!!!

crumpette · 23/03/2010 11:28

albiesmummy the more the merrier, welcome veeelcome [mwahahaaaa]

I have an announcement- I have a real life person visiting me this week

yes a real person other than my mother

colleague! visiting on thursday! hurrah hurrah. She is very pretty and trendy though, hmm, what to wear to conceal leaking bosoms and pregnant looking tummy.. ho hum.

Also news of real life neighbour knocked on door yesterday (ashamed to say I did not answer as I suspected it was not a postman/DHL delivery man with either shoes or chocolate) and left a note inviting me to baby massage on Friday. I sent her a text saying oh alright then, and suddenly OMG I HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE! With a real person! In daylight! aaargh. But I am glad in a way, I have never been to a baby massage class and would be too scaredy to go on my own.

crumpette · 23/03/2010 11:34

newbeginning1 I have just had a peek at your photos, what a darling baby you have!!! Oh my goodness your pics are lovely[broody] and you very pretty

what is that on his face!?

I still haven't uploaded any pics of DS, I haven't actually taken any since he was newborn. I think I should attempt to or people will suspect he is a bit minging...

alibobins · 23/03/2010 12:11

crumpette your posts make me lol lol lol

I haven't been back to the toddler group I keep saying next week

After the easter holidays I'm going to be brave and wonder into the local surestart x x

Off to rustle up some healthy lunch

sockmonkey · 23/03/2010 13:03

Hello albiesmummy
Nothing really to report here. DD is getting very grouchy and a bit clingy on an evening.

DH asked if she actually looked like a girl the other day. We get a lot of "oh, how old is he?" comments, despite generally being dressed in pink. I have decided it's because she is in a blue pram. I think she just looks like a baby. She's bald, and has a little round head.

I generally don't weigh myself... it's best not to know. Ignorance is bliss. I do have a huuuuge appetite at the moment, but I am doing a lot of walking... well to the shops. Usually a couple of hours about 3 times a week. It helps counter-act the chocolate, but I am very poor.

whensmydayoff · 23/03/2010 15:57

partyofseven No you can't join our club, sorry. You have 7 children and you fit into your clothes - bugger off and leave us fatty's to it, go on, find some jaffa cakes or something.....

of course im joking

SO, we have

Me
Partyofseven
Alibobins
CTFN - she didn't say she would but I'll chuck her in - What? She said she was on a diet so sh'e in.
Crumpette - Dark Choc for breakfast impresseddisgusting, you should be ashamed

and that's about it, a slight body swerve from Newbeginnings and the rest of you hiding behind your HobNObs - fine, don't come crying to me when all of the above are talking skinny jeans and size 10's come the summer and you lot are still in your maternity pants.....don't pretend your not all still in your BIG pants because you are.

OK I will get the ball rolling

Monday 22nd March

WMDO - 10 stone

Feel free to weigh yourself now and cut and paste and add! Excited

newbeginning He is lovely and a wee smiler.

Have to get up to date photos on but can't get round to such things

sockmonkey my DS always got "aww how old is she" no matter what he was wearing and it was generally very very boyish.

I had Olivia in an, albeit, blue POLKA DOT bress top over leggings with a bow on it and all day I got "how old is he"? People don't really are a bit mad with that one. Im always careful not to get it wrong and if im not sure I just saw "awww"!

whensmydayoff · 23/03/2010 15:57

crumpette seriously - your not, are you?

whensmydayoff · 23/03/2010 16:00

Oh how many typo's can one post have

Newbeginning1 · 23/03/2010 16:46

Thanks ali, he still has his cold but i cant grumble, especially when Jacob is as poorly as he is.

crumpette - it's paint on his face I decided to do his foot and hand prints for Mothers day and well what can i say, my friend and i thought we should paint his face being as he managed to get paint everywhere else. (Can i just say though no babies were harmed in the making of that picture)As for the being pregnant comment from your DP I would do something along the following lines....

Are you going to wipe that mark off your head?

What mark? he will say

That massive mark on your head at the top.

No doubt he will go and check and when he tootles on back and says there's nothing to get off just say something like that dick is permanently attached then?!

Sorry, but he really does sound one of a kind....

Do you know what WMDO, i will join. Here goes alcoholic anonymous stylie.

I'm Newbeginning1 and I weigh 13 stone 12lbs Yes, the recent earthquakes around the world were due to me.

alibobins · 23/03/2010 18:04

newbeginnings I weigh the same as you x x

Alibobins 13st 12lb

Fraochsmum · 23/03/2010 18:06

Hi everyone!
You know it's been a while since posting when you get knocked off the 'I'm on' section! I have been following the thread and want to say I hope everyone with poorly babes are doing alright now, particularly Alibobins who really seems to have been through the mill
I'll join the weigh in thang, just for poops and giggles! I am 9st 12lb (normally between 8 1/2 - 3/4) (not anal about it, but has remained the same for about 12 years).
Cara is teething which I'm very surprised about and was really hoping for her to be on solids by then . The hv today said she might not have any teeth through for a few weeks yet, but she doesn't seem too bothered now. Fingers crossed x
I had to laugh when reading the he/she bit about strangers talking to the babies - yesterday Cara was referred to as 'he' twice by the same person - and she was wearing a red dress!!! It really doesn't bother me though because I can only tell by what the kids are wearing!
Welcome to Albiesmum x
Newbeginning1 - lovely photos!

CantThinkofFunnyName · 23/03/2010 18:55

Oh right, WMDO, I get it! Do the cut/paste thingy and CTFN will keep everything updated nicely because she is an anally retentive sort who loves putting together lists... she must be because of the ridiculous updates she kept doing on the ante and post natal threads LOL.

So yes, I'm deffo in and can I just say a massive F*CK OFF to all those at 10 stone and under and those in pre-preg clothes! .

Monday 22/3
WMDO - 10st
CTFN - 10st 6lb (lost 2 lb last week)
Crumpette - 10st
Alibobbins - 13st 12lb
Newbeginnings - 13st 12lb
Fraochsmum - 9st 12lb

CantThinkofFunnyName · 23/03/2010 18:59

Second post... have had a bloody good chuckle at some posts on here today, namely Newbeginning dick on head, WMDO - just makes me laugh all the time - as does Crumpette"

Now have an ingenious idea about the jiggy jig points - thanks NB!

Yes WMDO - you can have an extra 10 points for BF. And it is really weird about the clothes size thing. My BF is the same height, same build as me, same weight (or rather was in our slimmer years) and she could always get into size 10 when I couldn't.

My summer holiday definitely has to be an incentive - although at the moment, just being able to get back into my old clothes rather than looking forlonly at my wardrobe would be good enough.

CantThinkofFunnyName · 23/03/2010 19:18

Third post - just logged onto WW and I have lost 1/2 stone since I began (week 5 post natal) and 7 cm in total from thighs, waist and hips. Veeerrrrrrrrrry slow going

crumpette · 23/03/2010 19:31

WMDO- bloody hope not!
newbeginning I am going to use those exact words at the appropriate moment and will report back ! too funny
CTFN- we can always count on you for an ordered list
Can I just say- fraochsmum, I am trying to nudge you off the list for general thinness and for actually having sex [ctfn doesn't count as she injured herself!]

Is this a weekly weigh in confession thing, then? You mean I have to actually tell you? If I express as much milk as possible from both boobs prior to getting on the scales is that cheating? In fact, I'm sure even empty milk ducts must weigh a good 7lb ...

newbeginning I think hand and foot prints are so adorable when they are teeny, you are forgiven!! I did them with DD but used the wrong paint and she had a blue-tinged hand for around 3 weeks...

crumpette · 23/03/2010 19:39

CTFN that is very good!! You win the prize...(currently a chocolate easter egg, mwahahaa I will be your feeder)
I honestly have got bigger. I have been wearing stretchy clothes since the birth which rather permit subtle expansion of thigh.. and then I tried to wear actual non-lycra based trousers last week and had a real battle with my backside cue lots of jumping up and down holding my open trousers hoping they will miraculously fit...!

albiesmummy · 23/03/2010 20:22

ooh hi everyone and thaks for being so welcoming. i have a little baby boy who was 7lb 6 born on 3/1/2010 6 days overdue (drainer!) he now weighs just over 12lb and is 62cm long...hes a big boy! How much of a nightmare is this whole losing weight business..i sympathise and cant seem to even make a dint in my baby belly. i'm 5 foot 6 and when i got pregnant was a size 7 and 7 1/2 stone! went up to 10 stone during pregnancy and now currently at 8 stone...but that last half wont shift at all and im a bit pants at actually venturing out with the little one (still a bit spooked)...except to walk to restless pooch every now and then...which hurts as i had a difficult birth ...so i had a brain wave and got the wii fit...uuum? i'll let u know how that goes

albiesmummy · 23/03/2010 20:41

and CTFN..i feel the pain! My wardrobe..my beautiful wardrobe (sigh longingly). Still in maternity jeans too, hurumph!
I have added a couple of pics of me and my lo for those of you with curious minds.
