I am so blessed to be part of this group. We are starting another year together, our 3rd but who's counting. May you each have a happy and healthy one. Are you off tea too? I am and it feels wierd I spend the day putting the kettle on and walking away thinking I don't fancy that! I like the pic on DP's FB of the family cat slippers

I found I have to have food not crap or crisps/sweeties etc it must be real food! Lime cordial and lemonade (fresh) ease the sickness too.

oh and remember ladies, lemon fanta is the nearest you can get to smirnoff ice in taste

tea - big no but have to force it down otherwise i have headache from caffeine withdrawal

oops the slippers were knitted by his mum. he had a pair when he was a kid and he's now on his second adult pair because the first ones wore out! i have to admit to rarely wearing mine!

am all sad and alone and have rubbed salt in my eyes so have now got watery eyes too

Not alone - DH changed track and now watching something on the life and history of Genesis, they were VERY wierd in the early days!

I was eating crisps but don't tell Sazz

DP says "at least they weren't chilli crisps"

Miamla, yes it is a good sign but it doesn't mean you can't moan! I did poor DH had his ear bent regularly. It felt worse because I was tired from running after DD constantly.

are you all sickness free and full of energy in your second trimester?

I don't like crisps anymore I used to love pringles

In a word NO. We had to stop so I could be sick on the way to the scan yesterday most food/drink bounces off my stomach in the morning but in the evening I could eat for hours! Energy has slowly returned.

oh no, i guess i'm lucky in that i'm not actually being sick, just feeling it!

I had to have Southern fried chicken strips today and I have never even had them before DH lookedd at me wierdly when they ended up in our trolley.

Hector obviously fancied them!

I guess that is how I 'knew' it was another girl very similar to DD although it has calmed down sooner then with DD.

Dizz - I won't tell Sazz, she's at the pub anyway! You bored with out MS talk yet?

Do you have the New Age baby name book? Dh found us a copy in a bookshop and we have been laughing at names we could have gone for!

that's why i'm thinking that a different flavour is involved this time but we shall see. feels very different to how i remember DS in the early weeks. given that i've got a pregnancy brain though already, perhaps i should read my early posts on here! where's TS 'the thread searcher' when you need her?
