I am so blessed to be part of this group. We are starting another year together, our 3rd but who's counting. May you each have a happy and healthy one. I look forward to more meetups, more FBing, more Skyping, more Waving, more crazy tales, more laughter, more hand holding, and more support than is humanly possible! XOX

alittlebitshy · 08/01/2010 19:50

sambo!!!! hi! hope we do see more of you

CaptainCaveman · 08/01/2010 19:51

Hey Sambo happy new year to you and yours, hope all is well?

Got much snow dizzy? You anywhere near Stirling

CaptainCaveman · 08/01/2010 19:52

Hi albs

hotterpotter · 08/01/2010 20:11

Evening all

sambo it's good to see you!I definitely approve of your NY resolution too. Our house is much more harmonious since we got an extra laptop. Even DD's requests to play CBeebies games can be accommodated now

ALBS good to hear your evenings are so much better

I am a bit sad actually as DD hasn't wanted me to sit in her room while she goes to sleep for a few days now but at least it's DH she wants when she needs someone in her room oin the middle of the night [phew]

Just counting down the time until wine o'clock. I'm thirsty

dizzydixies · 08/01/2010 20:28

CC am about just over an hour north east of Stirling - head north to perth, then dundee and then double back into Fife over the bridge - probably a bit more detailed than you need but just incase your new car takes you further than you expected

ALBS am glad to hear it - fingers crossed it lasts

Hots - you can come and sit in my room instead

pertelote · 08/01/2010 20:29

Evening. ALBS glad H is not giving you such a hard time anymore and yes to a meet-up! Can I make a nice early bid for a Thurs or Fri?

Hullo Sambo! Not much snow here though skates are required to get anywhere...

oopsandbabycoconut · 08/01/2010 20:42

Hi Albs good to see you.

You too Sambo

CC- enjoying your new car?

Chinese eaten, squash drunk and watching Big Bang Theory.

HP - that DD is putting herself to bed but also a big step for her.

DD randomly came up to be today and said BOOP NOW! so I offered and she took 2 sucks said 'funk yo' and went back to her toys almostlike she is doing it to appease me.

re meet up

hotterpotter · 08/01/2010 20:52

Seem to be copying you again Dizz but re meet up. Perheps cece could pick me up on her way past as she heads to your house

oops DD not putting herself to bed, although she used to go to sleep happily on her own while still in her cot . She wants DH there, not me but at least I seem able to put DS to bed again without him yelling for daddy too . Not prepared to try it in the middle of the night yet though...

oopsandbabycoconut · 08/01/2010 20:56

Aahhh I see now HP - DD only want papa first thing in the morning when she gets up (suits me) - unfortunately for her that is when he is best at ignoring her wriggling and hitting him on the head yelling PAPA until she is all wound up and I end up going down with her.

dizzydixies · 08/01/2010 20:57

oops I can't tell you how excited I am about your lovely new DD - I know I'm biased but girls are great

as are boys but you'd need someone else to confirm that one

TwilightSurfer · 08/01/2010 20:59

Okay I now understand Oops FB post on HP's FB status. Without the information here it reads like she's trying to offer up a Chinese individual. At least that's how I read it. LOL!

ALBS please pass along a HI from me to Shazza.

Sambo nice to see you made a very good resolution. We shall all see to it you keep it.

LOLOL TS!!!!!!!

Boys are great

hotterpotter · 08/01/2010 21:08

When pg with DS I was desperate for another girl, although amazingly not even a bit disappointed when he came out I was thinking earlier what I would like if I ever did have another baby, and I really couldn't decide. Better try for a couple more...

oopsandbabycoconut · 08/01/2010 21:17

Thanks Dizzy - I missed your last post! Yes we are strangly over excited about another girl, I guess a boy would have been nice and whoever came along would have been exciting but another girl is just a bonus (and I know what to do with girls!) Everyone has just assumed DH wanted a son but he is more excited by another girl. Someone even asked today if we are going to have another after this one so DH can have his son!

TwilightSurfer · 08/01/2010 21:19

On the more babies front, I am finding it nice to not be thinking/planning for what "could be". I was wrapped up in that for 6 years. Should I? Shouldn't I? Am I? Why am I not? I really expended a lot of mental energy. My new life is only just developing.

I still love all the good news from those who are finding new BFPs. That's such a wonderful wonderful feeling.

get used to that Oops especially if you get pregnant again. If only I had £1 for everytime I heard 'oh are you trying for a boy then? you'll be disappointed if its another girl

fecking idiots. I've always wanted 4 girls, always - don't know why, I just have. Seems a shame to stop when I'm 3/4 of the way there

TwilightSurfer · 08/01/2010 21:24

Oops I thought my DH would surely push for another in the quest for a son but he didn't. He seems completely happy with two girls and does a very good job with them. With girls you can go fishing and play ball and all those boy type things BUT then you also get to dress up and be frilly, things you could never do with boys. So having girls almost allows you twice the fun.
