I am so blessed to be part of this group. We are starting another year together, our 3rd but who's counting. May you each have a happy and healthy one. I look forward to more meetups, more FBing, more Skyping, more Waving, more crazy tales, more laughter, more hand holding, and more support than is humanly possible! XOX

WOAH, quite a few smiles in that last one! not bad considering how sick i feel!

steaknife · 08/01/2010 09:29

You really think MNHQ would have provided us with a morning sickness emoticon - like the green one, but less cross looking and with its little tongue sticking out. Or maybe like the blush one but with green cheeks.

steaknife · 08/01/2010 09:30

Don't worry Miamla I think TS has the crown for heaviest use of smiles today!

GladioliBuckets · 08/01/2010 09:31

Well yes, all baby dolls look creepy (there is a freakydeaky doll museum in Fordingbridge in the New Forest, it does B&B and they move the dolls around in the night). Which is why you dont' want them dripping on you as well and they only come with disposable nappies that have to be selltaped back on. And if you're thinking of getting a doll, I recommend Baby Born because she is SILENT unlike that bitchface Annabel.

GladioliBuckets · 08/01/2010 09:36

Miamla Well done on the not panicking, anyone would think you'd already had a baby. I'm sure you can just phone up to request a booking-in appointment with MW - think mine even came to me the last time. If you do get out, get some sugary hi-juice squash so you're getting water and calories.

dizzy Bonsoir's thread ran out of space I was very sad not to get the last word with 'This thread is now officially having bumsex with itself'.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAZZLES Have a marvellous day with lots of everything you desire.

oops thinking of you today, let us know how you get on (and if you do feel like sharing info re. flavour I'm sure we will all be very grateful )

well my 2 dds batter the hell out of eachother.. thinking they are boys in disguise! ...

dizz childminder is having them at our house provisionally... sounds lovely in theory having extra time off particulary after the last non stop 3 weeks... but the irish catholic in me is renound for guilt guilt and more guilt ...

on an equally frustrating note.. not sure if y'all remember but i found a lump in my breast not long after dd2 was born.. all fine and got it drained.. stupid little fecker is back which means more worry and one big needle to get it drained ho hum

Afternoon All

ILs late this morning so we had to rush and left DD watching Peppa Pig, I honestly don't think she even knew we were gone as it was still on when we arrived back 20mins ago.

We had a great scan and a sonographer who talked us through everything from her head to her feet, showing us the brain and all its parts then looking at hands and feet in great detail, a closup of her face in a quick 3-d to check for cleft lip, and pointed all the things they look for I have seen parts of this baby that I never thought I would. We were in for about 45mins and I could have killed him at the end when he had to squash my overfull bladder to get a good picture of her sucking her thumb. Then expected a long wait for the consultants who miraculously saw me waiting early for my appointments called me in and I was done before my appointment time even came up.

Back later DD and I are off for a nap. up too early for my liking.

oops what with the going to bed without answering our demands questions?!?! we've names to be picking and blankets to be ordering from Steaky you know!!

lovely news Sazz, happy birthday darling

morning/afternoon all else, has been a LLOONNGGGG day here too

poppysocks · 08/01/2010 13:18

Oh oops. How exciting! Will take the DD2 as red given the number of times you dropped the hint .

Spot on sazzles - so, so nice to see that people can be sensible and reasonable. Happy Birthday indeed.

Sorry for your ongoing dilemma loti. Given that it took me 20 mins to get 1.5 miles to swimming this am, via the main streets in town, and I spun the car (not quite as impressively as you though ), I realise that our council at least is serious about this not gritting as much now thing and it is truly treacherous. DH took 45 mins to get the first 10 miles to work this am and his brother was one of the ones stuck on the A3 on Tuesday. I have therefore decided that I shall not be getting into a car again until I absolutely have to. That doesn't help you though does it...

Hi cc.

dizzydixies · 08/01/2010 13:18

CC, she's obviously 27 how could you think otherwise?!? loving sound of new car

poppy mickey phone has been recovered and is being kept safe for our next visit

miamla tis a girl, if you're THAT sick, its a girl I shall start working on a list of approved names

TwilightSurfer · 08/01/2010 13:19

Lucky you are on top of your health care so that gives you an edge. I will be sending you many many positive vibes.

Oops I'm glad you had a good appointment.

Sazzles I'd say that's super nice of the theater. Sounds like a replanning of festivities is a good idea.

Miamla I'm going to go ahead and guess that you are carrying a girl.
