I am so blessed to be part of this group. We are starting another year together, our 3rd but who's counting. May you each have a happy and healthy one. I look forward to more meetups, more FBing, more Skyping, more Waving, more crazy tales, more laughter, more hand holding, and more support than is humanly possible! XOX

I am sitting here eating Quality Street and DH is at the shops because I forgot to buy cream for the carbonara when I was wondering around the supermarket in a pregnancy induced daze!

TwilightSurfer · 04/01/2010 20:14

Reese is eating almonds by the hand full. I really think my little one is going to be a vegetarian.

Oops I think I like all the names you are considering. Not sure which one I like best though. Maybe you should just consider having enough children to use them all.

Dizzy - sneak quality street on the lips is a lifetime on the hips!

Helena, Aurelia, Elizabeth, Matilda, Joseph, Cassius, Noah, James and Edward are all on the list I am trying very hard to persuade DH not to find out if Hector is a boy or girl.

dizzydixies · 04/01/2010 20:35

eek meep eek

DD3 would have been Cassius so I LOVE that and Noah as well as Hector

Aurelia is lovely with nn Rory for a girl and I adore Betsy as Elisabeth [smile

GladioliBuckets · 04/01/2010 20:43

Wow, you actually use real cream in your carbonara Oops? I always just knock up a white sauce with an egg in it and a few bits of ham. I'm such a tightarse LOL.

I have just emailed my cv to the uni temp bank as DH has been griping this week. Did a ridiculously informal cover note though so they may think I'm taking the piss (DH will if he reads it). If no joy there, I could always try the temp bank at my old old work, pretty sure they'd love to have me back but feel a bit at retreading footsteps.

Car cost £250 today! Plus will have to buy new headlamps and a new key by summer's MOT. Have discussed going down to one car with DH which I am fine about come warmer weather but pointed out that if working I would need a car...see above.

GladioliBuckets · 04/01/2010 20:44

PS I do think Aurelia would be a bit of a mouthful with the proposed surname. Helena better IMO, could be Nell for short too.

Sazz - yes DD has spent the day looking for him, wondering into the office yelling 'Papi' and looking out in the garden for him. We had tears at naptime as she wanted kisses. Lots of snow forecast here too Sazz but only staeting in the afternoon.

Miamla - I wasn't your secret santa either - Mine was a N1 postcode so have been running all Londoners through my mind!

dizzydixies · 04/01/2010 21:00

div commander has seen sense - still don't have my fecking shifts for next year though thats a phone call I'll deal with tomorrow though as she was enjoying her PH today

no throwing re daddy at work here as he's been working on and off over the holidays - poor E

Sazz - was your Secret Santa not obvious by her handiness that a clumsy ham fisted sod like me couldn't achieve in a lifetime?!!

You do realise Sazz that if you don't turn up at the CM with a packet of walkers finest you will be in serious trouble! I know you secret santa :P

Dizzy - go kick some ass!

cyteen · 04/01/2010 21:15

at the crisps gambit Sazz, I must remember that one when DS is old enough. No tears here re. Daddy but I suspect there will be wailing come Wednesday when he realises nursery starts again

GB you're so right about Aurelia with oops' surname, totally hadn't thought about that. Helena is gorgeous and classic and goes much better.

I thought you might have missed the clues

I have to do all DH's annual filing tomorrow, deep joy, DD is growing to MIL who wanted to take her out to the ducks I won't let a frailish nearly 75year old out on the icy pavements with a buggy, so she is not not pleased with me!

dizzydixies · 04/01/2010 21:42

am sitting doing the calendar for 2010 except I can't
