hehehe star no not at all, P is just the same, thats soo funny. She does that but more norwa norwa norwa norwa then afew dickle dickle dickle's and random talk like Q, I think its sooo funny and we do the same I want P and Q to meet, they could have their own little language

aubergenie · 23/12/2009 21:19

Myjob - Oh, he's not that advanced, he can't pronounce it properly! It comes out as "wherewah", but it definitely means her.

Star - That's exactly what S does too. He sounds like he's talking really intently, and thdeintonation is there, but it's complete gibberish with the odd recognisable word thrown in!

So, Q speaks uggle buggle and P speaks norwa dickle.

I forgot to say - the FUNNIEST thing he does... sometimes, out of nowhere, he will click in the midst of a sentence... like with his tongue. It's absolutely hilarious... as if he's speaking swahili or something!!

jenwa · 23/12/2009 21:38

star hehe they have fab baby talk, how funny with the clicking.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/12/2009 21:40

Happy Christmas Hedgepig!

lol at you wanting the tantrums to stop already star. You have years of them to come yet!

D doesn't talk yet, but then I don't think dd did at this age, and then once she started she shot ahead of all of her RL peers in no time!

TheTinseltasticHedgepig · 23/12/2009 22:07

It is so silly you are desperate for them to talk but then whey they do you are desperate for the to stop

CSWS am I right in guessing you are expecting again with your discussions of getting 3 seats in the back of a car??

Right must go an wrap some more things up, I'm thinking about changing my MN name to "lastminuteHedgy". DS1 has millions of far too many presents and little O has 3!

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/12/2009 22:38

Yes hedgepig - due end of June.

Congrats CSWS, June is a splendid month for a birthday, 1/2 a year from Christmas and you can have B'day parties outside.

Honeymoonmummy · 24/12/2009 00:12

Dammit I've missed everyone again [waves at Hedgepig]. Poppy has said 3 new words today; car, sock and shoe. Her current favourite word is hat. But still not walking properly. i don't care tho, she'll do it when she's ready. Am just watching some old vids of Poppy, they making me smile

StarExpat · 24/12/2009 07:40

Hmm you're up so late! How do you function the next day?? I think I'm up late when I'm awake until 10pm

Thanks for letting us know you're safely there, pistachio. Hopefully ds will have a nice sleep and maybe a later wake up tomorrow since he stayed awake in the car

ronshar · 24/12/2009 08:35

Morning.
Welcome to the poorly house. Just in time for christmas

CSWS, I would love a Discovery but my carbon footprint guilt wont allow me too. I have to off set my use of the XC90 every day. Gets very tiring.

I have my SS. I also started opening mine and had to re selotape it down again.

I have read through but no time to answer everyone. Sorry.

I do want to say bloody well done to Myjob. You just need to extand your self a little bit further each week. Before you know it you will be running at least 3 miles. 10 min miles is good going. Be very proud of yourself.

aubergenie · 24/12/2009 08:53

Ronshar Oh no! Is it coughs and colds or something worse?

Glad you arrived safely Pistachio. The log fire sounds lovely. DP tried to light our fire yesterday but the wood was wet and we just ended up with a house completely full of smoke instead. Not quite as cosy.

StarExpat · 24/12/2009 08:54

Sorry to hear that ronshar
Is the XC90 more environmentally friendly than the landrover?? My friend who exchanged them claims her reason for doing so was that the landrover was better in this way...
we're ill here too. I've canceled my lunch in london today as dh and I both have sore throats, stuffy noses and achiness. Q isnt sleeping well at all and has a snotty nose, too.
yuck. We'll still go to the christingle, just wear masks, perhaps

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/12/2009 11:11

neither is remotely environmentally friendly star - it's a bit like asking which is better out of fruit shoots and sausage rolls .

TheTinseltasticHedgepig · 24/12/2009 12:26

sausage rolls are much better for you of course!!! they taste much nicer thans Fruit shoots I wonder why my hips are so big, one of lifes greqt mysteries .

We are off to my parents bye for now, can you hear the sleigh bells yet?? ho ho ho

Hey all! MyJob, running not a waste of time, I was amazed how much weight I lost when running a few years ago. You go girl!

Star, I was trying to finish watching some videos of Poppy so we can make a film of them all for the grandparents tomorrow. I had a lie in this morning to compensate while DH looked after Pops.

Woo hoo! Christmas Eve. Don't forget to check out the Santa Tracker www.noradsanta.org/en/index.html

50ftChristmasTree · 24/12/2009 14:17

I have the Santa Tracker bookmarked Hmm!

Myjob - Running isn't a waste of time at all. And, as usual (boring - yawn) Ronshar is right (does anyone else get tired of saying that all the time? ). Ten minute miles are good, especially as a starting point. You'll be giving Paula Radcliffe a run for her money.

Ronshar - Oh poo for you all being unwell. Who is ill? The adults, the children everyone? If it's the DC then by tomorrow they won't care, if it's you then but at least the DC will have lots to keep them occupied. Hope you're all feeling better tomorrow.

Star - Hope you're feeling better in time for church, hope you all enjoy it. I love a good Christmas singsong too.

Glad you're having a nice relaxing time Pistachio. You deserve it and I hope you're making the most of your time with your lovely DH.

I really want to get the babies together again now soon, they must have changed so much. M has changed hugely since her birthday and I bet all the other yummy babies are the same.
