Go to fb and see if you can see my pics Lenni, if you are up. I am confuddled!! I don't understand it at all

Must stop feeling sorry for fat self. Got period today, which was an unknown after the eggy thing. So that was odd, actually.

Tried dd2 on the boob. She laughed her head off!! Didn't have the faintest idea what to do, and I have some colostrumy looking stuff. [tmi] So I guess relactation might be tricky. She nipped me too

SherryMerryLennipillar · 08/12/2009 23:47

I can see them and they are gorgeous, such stunning girls. Strong genes!

Lol at DD2 - DS looks at me funny if I feed him in the daytime now. He still has the odd feed now and again when he wants but sometimes I offer him boob when he wanted something else and he looks at me and laughs - the insult! Do you really want to relactate? Am sure you could do it, but might have to express for her. Sounds a major hassle to me but then I'm lazy.

SOunds like it to me too!! But then the bottles are a plauge. WE always run out at 4am and realise none are clean.....and so on. Seem to loose teats at the rate of 3 a week as well. Pah!

Will see if we can get a latch going on. If not then won't persue it. It would be so much easier for the nighttimes!

SherryMerryLennipillar · 09/12/2009 00:05

Am with you there - I remember the rows over whose turn it was to wash the bottles! I am getting 'so when are you stopping' all the time lately, but am never going to stop while he wakes at night!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 00:08

Yes, I think the best answer to 'when are you stopping' is 'when you are taking over night feeds'. I need some sort of baby bootcamp for H!

tinkerbellstinkerbells · 09/12/2009 10:41

feeling anxious her especially about hull @ xmas keep going to hte loo

120cmsOfSnow · 09/12/2009 14:24

tink have I missed something? are you having another one?

I can't decide what to do about B/F at the mo. I'm sure DD was only having 4 feeds a day and then one at night by now. H seems to want it after every snack/meal. And then all night too. I think I'm something wrong! HOW did you get them to stop wanting it during the day Lenni?

Tree, I can't see you on FB, but then I think I only ever see Pat on there!

120cmsOfSnow · 09/12/2009 14:26

By the way we are putting them both in the same room tomorrow for the first time! Am very scared, and a bit sad too. Not for the sleep I'm going get however.

hackneyzoowithbellson · 09/12/2009 14:54

Doing this from my phone the biopsy went fine now stuck in hosp with a sleeping j on my chest. 120 hope the room sharing goes well. Jude and lily share and it is very sweet to see j peering a lil in the morning and smiling when she wakes up saying 'morning judo'. Mind you it can be a bit me a nightmare when jude wales lil up in the middle of the night but that doesn't happen much luckily. I love them sharing a room i think they do too. God hospitals are boring!

120cmsOfSnow · 09/12/2009 14:59

are you nearly done yet? glad the biopsy went well. give me a shout later and we can work out a plan for tomorrow if you aren't working.

missjackson · 09/12/2009 16:18

Hi everyone. hkz glad the biopsy went well and hope they don't keep you waiting around for too long.

Thanks for nice comments about my fb status- I could almost hear my childless friends puking, but those 'on the other side' understand.

tree I'm with you on the night-time feeds -so easy to just give them the boob. Maybe if she is half asleep she will latch on properly and maybe relactating will be okay. Amazing pictures on fb by the way. Like Lenni said, strong genes!

lenni yey for weight loss.. and your house decorations sounds lovely. Can we see pictures? I'm almost inspired to put a tree up at home after all (home this weekend).. N would love pulling it over the twinkly lights.

Still haven't got all my presents sorted out. We have a massive tescos next door to the office and I keep going around trying to find gifts for people and just end up buying more stuff for N - got some lovely wooden alphabet blocks, and some nice books. Am really going to have to focus.

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 19:03

OOOo thats good HKZ. Hospitals indeed very boring.

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 19:05

Totally at weight loss Lenni. Watched some home vids of dd1 at 3 months and I was a stick. So glum looking at them! You must have put some serious work in. Well done.

hackneyzoowithbellson · 09/12/2009 19:38

ooo, tree, am off to hunt for your pictures or gorgeous DDs.

120...I am so bloody knackered I am feeling inclined to skive take the day off, but then I will just spend the day wracked with guilt because I didn't go in...oh decisions. Might just phone my boss tell him how I am feeling (knackered, emotional, stressed and every so slightly insane) and see what he says.

MissJ, loved your FB status too. Went to a massive tesco when I was up in Newcastle last month visiting the ILs, it was humungous, I never knew such places existed...ended up going a bit mad in the kids craft section and buying a life time supply of glitter and stick on things whilst having visions of DD and I sitting at the table happily sticking and glueing and making beautiful things (in reality there tends to be a lot of glitter and glue stuck to awkward places when such seesions have taken place)

Am going to catch up on thread, was trying to read it on my phone earlier but the writing was far too small (I am officially getting old emoticon)

Gumps · 09/12/2009 20:07

Hello strangers!
So sorry I have been AWOL. Life has just been mental. I have been keeping a watch on those of you on facebook though and there have been some gorgeous pics.
S is one next Saturday. Wow where has that gone?! Also so strange that it is his second Christmas already. Life all good with us, the boys are so much fun and eagerly awaiting farmer Christmas as ds1 calls him.
I will have a read and try to drop in more often.
Oh any no 2s on the way? I was already 2 months pregnant when ds1 turned 1....

Gumps · 09/12/2009 20:23

Had a quick read and just wanted to say HKZ not really sure what is happening with J but sounds very serious so I hope all is ok x

PatTheHammer · 09/12/2009 20:26

Hey 120, I'm not always on FB you know....have far more important things to do.

Back later, just popping on FB

Gumps..Stan the man is 1 on saturday.....arrgh!!. No more tiddlers on the way yet i don't think, why are you preggars again? LOL at Farmer christmas!

HKZ- Glad all went well

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 20:29

Hello Gumps!! Wow, 1st birthdays already.

MissJ - yes your fb status was amazing. Beautifully written.

DD2 is full of mischeif tonight, and I have a heavy heavy period. Hoping for first step outside the house since Sunday tomorrow! My first proper big school nativity! DD is a donkey, as chosen by herself

Thank you all for looking at my pics, especially as I am crap and can't even find half of all your pics!!

Pat maybe its just you are the only one I recognise? Last pics I saw of everyone else was when they were with bump! I too was preg with H by now, when DD was 11 mo . Actually am finding it a bit difficult to not want to do it again (though it was hideous at the time going through morning sickness and extreme tiredness just when she was becoming a nightmare beginning to be active.

hackneyzoowithbellson · 09/12/2009 20:42

Loved your pics tree, gorgeous gorgeous girls. Boo hiss and periods. can't wait to see donkey pics.
Happy birthday Stan the man. I love his name Gumps. To cut a long story short, we noticed J had trouble moving his left arm, after much investigation it turns out he has a tumour on his neck/chest. Docs are almost completely certain it is benign. But has been a horrible month of stress and worry. he had a biopsy today so we await results next week....

Right, I need wine!

120cmsOfSnow · 09/12/2009 20:42

)

120cmsOfSnow · 09/12/2009 20:45

xpost. enjoy wine.

they both slept through last night. First time in 5 months.

Am going to bed now in the hope that they do it again and I get 10 hours sleep!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 20:46

Good luck 120!!

SherryMerryLennipillar · 09/12/2009 21:55

HKZ - Glad it went well and have everything crossed for you. I think you should talk to your boss FWIW, sounds like the best plan.

Good luck with sleep 120 - I daren't type it but we've had a few good nights lately. Of course it won't last.

Happy 1st Birthday Stanley! (Just in case you don't pop back before the weekend) - not pregnant here either - something to share lady?

Tree - I have done one thing only to lose weight - breastfed a humdinger of a baby. I feel like a fraud. I do try occasionally though!

More steps today, I'm melting with mummy pride.

DD has wit but DS has good humour. He has played peekaboo round the side of DD's blackboard for most of the day bless him.
