SherryMerryLennipillar · 04/12/2009 19:12

Poor you Dog, are you going back to the docs if it doesn't improve?

DD has wet herself twice more this afternoon, of course after I had chance to get her in at the doctors. Will have to see what the weekend brings now. I'm wondering if it is an attention thing, but she doesn't seem to have any warning at all that it's coming. Am fed up now. The last accident happened when she was sat on my lap so am covered in wee. Lovely.

Have good weekends everyone.

Soccerette · 04/12/2009 20:34

Flying visit.

How are you all?

Esme got 'viral infection' and totally off colour. Poor mite.

Is also sitting up in cot & unable to lie down... Any tips?

Hello Pat - pass the chocs would ya?

OP posts:
PatTheHammer · 04/12/2009 21:04

Ok, no maltesers though.....those bad-boys are all mine!!!

Meant to be at aparty tonight, Zach had other ideas! Could have done with a few drinks too, probably would have fallen asleep though as I am so knackered.

To top off a crappy week the shower is now leaking into DD's ceiling!!!.

Ah well, new hairdo and meal out with DH and his friends for his birthday to look forward to tomorrow

Lenni- How is DD with the wee situation?
HKZ- I will artfully rearrange the tree when DD is in bed on sunday, mean i know! but my mum used to do it too! Wishing you the best of luck for going back full time in january.

Moose- good news on the paed appt.

Soccer- poor little Esme, hope she is better soon.
Dog- Happy birthday to Arlo for the other day, hope it went well, hows the head?

MissJ- poor N, hope he is back to himself today. With regards the extended feeding I don't think I have a choice at the moment . In fact last night DH put Zach to bed because I was at parents evening and he went without fuss at 7pm and then awoke at 8.30pm about 5 mins after I walked through the door, had a feed and went back to sleep, amazing intuition on his part!!!

Hey Tink, stripey,120, Elkie and all!

hackneyzoowithbellson · 04/12/2009 21:10

Soccer, hope E is feeling better, poor thing. This time of year is rubbish for babes, one illness after another.

Pat- I'll have the bounty ones if there's any left. Thats crap about the leak

SherryMerryLennipillar · 04/12/2009 21:30

DS fits in his 12-18month snowsuit atm HKZ but not sure it will last right through to March/April. But then it was too big about 4 weeks ago, the swine had a growth spurt at just the wrong time

Pat - things sound crappy atm. Hope they improve soon. Maltesers are my favourite, sure you can't spare just one???

Just been trawling the old threads for a couple of bits I wanted to save for posterity. Have come over all broody, off to slap self now and finish last bits of xmas shopping care of amazon.

treedelivery · 05/12/2009 20:18

Hi all. Boo for the leak, yay for the hairdo.

Lenni - Hope dd is better? Less wett-y? Is t hat a word?

DD1 had a 5th birthday party today. H has hardly eaten. Just settling everyone [my mum is up and is with dd1, I have H here on my chest.....as always......]

Eating Nigella malteser cake as each page loads

We are supposed to be blitsing downstairs this eve, making space, clearing crap, putting things away ready for getting a tree tomorrow. Sadly I have a mad headache and would rather eat cake.

Never watch TV, except for Battlestar Gallactica [geek] when it was on, and 24 when it's on. So never have a clue what to say when people try engage in converstaion about it. Everyone looks at me like I am a loon

missjackson · 05/12/2009 22:18

Oh you've all been busy on the new thread I see. Great title! Yey for Christmassy stuff!

Xmas tree sounds cute hkz - our family trees were always a total mess with all our school-made decorations from years ago. It's only when you are child-free that you can have nice tasteful trees! Senco stuff sounds great, although a shame you have to go back ft - 4 days working, 3 off sounds just about right to me!

We have the same snowsuit as Lenni in 12-18months and it's looking a bit tight already! Have been buying 18-24 months size from baby gap and it's just about right with a bit of space to grow into. N seems to have levelled off somewhat but is still comfortably podgy and yummy-scrummy. He loves being chased naked around the bedroom before his bath and it's just the cutest sight ever... to me anyway .

Was supposed to be commuting back to Wales this weekend, but OH and N both have colds, so we stayed here - was secretly pleased as now I get them both to myself all weekend. Last weekend we had to spend Saturday with one granny, and Sunday with the other one, just to be fair - so were knackered by Monday morning!

Hope you all having lovely weekends.

Afternoon,

Yay, Dog! So pleased you are feeling better at last. We have all been really worried about you.

Supposed to be doing trees here today as well (one in the living room, one in the boys' room) but have two very overtired boys, as a result of two family get togethers yesterday (one from each side of the family). They have been very good and tidied their room ready for vacumming and dusting though and dh has everything down from the loft, so maybe it will happen - who knows!

Tink, you are making me feel so disorganised and crap. I haven't so much as written one card or wrapped one present as yet.

Have been frantically searching around for Christmas Eve pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers for the boys. Can't seem to find anything I like at the right price.

HKZ, not sure if you will like it, but Next have a cute red snowsuit in their winter stuff. They have it in stock in 12-18 and 1 1/2 - 2 as well. Its not as nice as the Boden one, but looks cosy and has a funky lining.

Tree, did you get Harriet weighed the other day? I have been waiting to see if dd is the only miniature baby left on the thread. Will definitely feel less like a bad mummy if H is in the same ballpark.

tinkerbellstinkerbells · 06/12/2009 18:50

evening

dog - great you r sounding better & chirpy again!! happy tree decorating

mm - bless boys

hackneyzoowithbellson · 06/12/2009 19:51

Moose thanks for th elink...am bidding for the ebay one, but I do like the next one too, so if I don't win(am sure I won't as those snowsuits are sold out so will probably go for a silly price) I will point my sister in the directionof the next website.

Dog, saw your FB update, hope you have survived you outlaws...grrrrr.

Miss J hope you have had a lovely london weekend and your boys are feeling better.

Evening Tink!

120...no more dance classes til the 8th Jan now, but up for meetin gup, maybe Thursday depending on how DS is after his biopsy.

Stripey, love your Stripey picture. I love stripes big time. Your house looks lovely in all your FB pics too. C is gorgeous.

Tree, malteser cake sounds heavenly, can I have some?

Had a quietish weekend, DH was working yesterday , so I made christmas decs with DD and mooched around, was very relaxing really. We are taking DD to see the Grufallo love on Friday, so lookng forward to that and to having J's biopsy out of the way.

SherryMerryLennipillar · 06/12/2009 22:21

Any ideas anyone? Please rescue my family Christmas trip

Am suitably fed up.

We saw the Gruffalo a few weeks ago HKZ, it was good. DD really enjoyed it.

Dog!!!! Great to hear you are feeling better.

I'm getting broody. Have listed my last bits of baby equipment on ebay and given away my nursing bras (except for my underwired one!) and suddenly feel very sad at the idea of not having anymore babies.

OP posts:
moosemama · 06/12/2009 23:50

Have answered on other thread Lenni.

I know where you are coming from with the broodiness, I was just the same a few weeks back, but since then my boys have kept themselves busy reminding me why we don't want to have any more. You can borrow them if you like. Although to be honest they are lovely for everyone else, its just us they save their antics for so it might not help.

MsSparkle · 07/12/2009 10:49

Hi all, can't believe it's that time of year again!

Pat i feel for you, we had a leak in our roof and it leaked into dds cealing. It looks a mess because it made a big water bubble then popped

Tink you are super organised as usual!

Moose i get broody then dd reminds me why i don't want anymore children too

It's been a bit doom and gloom here over the weekend. Finley is teething and he has a cold so he is in pain from his teeth poor man, plus he is snot central! He is unsettled and sleepy

tinkerbellstinkerbells · 07/12/2009 12:00

sherry - hope u sort something out !!

hi mm and sparkle
