Your DP is truely great! Hope you are feeling less stunned. A summer baby, very very exciting. A abd B have a close gap don't they? So this will be the perfect play mate for I.

hackneyzoowithbellson · 27/12/2009 17:03

I meant your DP is truely great as in he is very calm and supportive and chilled (I wasn't referring to his super sperm )

stripeywoollensantahat · 27/12/2009 17:04

dog -

woohoo!!! first thread little bro/sister!!! hurrah!! congratulations!

[beside myself, need a sit down emoticon]

stripeywoollensantahat · 27/12/2009 18:16

hope shock settling now, dog, sorry for explosion of exclamation marks earlier...

120cmsOfSnow · 27/12/2009 18:54

OMG Dog! Congratulations! I got pregnant with DS when DD was 11mo and I definitely had milk problems. She was teething during that time too, but milk defo went a bit strange, so could be for you too. Lol at HZ with the super sperm.

Wow . Now that's an amazing Christmas present!

We had quite a chilled post Christmas, thought the day itself was pretty stressful. I hate all that buggering about with the turkey cooking for hours and chopping loads of veg for the sake of a 30 mins scoff. Oh well. Over for another year!

HZ let me know if you can escape with your friend and we can take just the babies to the museum.

DD driving me mad. It has all been so exciting that she is up and down like a yo-yo. We got loads of books as presents which is fab as I don't think we could have fitted anything else into their room (the new easel is standing in the living room!).

Nice to be back home, even nicer once DD goes to bed.

SherryMerryLennipillar · 27/12/2009 19:33

Dpg yay! Wonderful news, I hope you are all getting your heads around having number 4! 4!!! Wow! Makes me think 3 must be a doddle... I'm weakening, but still the thought of being pregnant fills me with far too much dread to want to have another. I'd do the birth tomorrow, rather oddly.

We've had a lovely few days but DD still not well. She's barely eaten for a week now and has lost 1.5kg which isn't so good. Her skinny fit jeans looked like loose fit on her today, blinking flu. Back to the docs Tuesday by the look of it, still hope that she might pick up for her birthday tomorrow, but she is very coughy and wheezy so think she might have a chest infection. Although she has just eaten a little petit filous, which is more than she's had all week so I have hope. DS still wheezy too, but better with his inhaler - which is a bloody nightmare to administer.

We're taking the same approach to the huge quantities of food we've got in the house Stripey - consume quickly hence minimising the amount your body can possibly absorb am sure that's the best approach scientifically

No noisy toys here, but most don't yet have the required batteries so there is still time. Am looking forward to normality returning, but not to DH going back to work - it's been so lovely to have him around, like old times.

Poor dd, I hope she can enjoy her birthday

So you have one of those spacers for ds, with the teddies on the side, and a tiny face mask?

Agree no looking forward to dh going back to work. I miss his shift work. Before redunadancy he worked 6-2 or 2-10. It was great, it was 10 mins away and he was here for really big parts of the day. Now he is 7-5 and has 40 mins commute each way. So misses nearly everything. I could really do with him in the mornings.

DD is currently trying to scale the stair gate, and is trying to stand on her own

Yes, we've got a teddy spacer thing - but he won't have the mask on, doesn't like it. I have to do 2 puffs 4 times a day so can do 3 lots with him sleeping if I remember but I haven't today and have had to do all with him awake and much protesting. Any tips?

Have a fab night out Books

Just the usual stuff really lenni. We gave it to just about every teddy in the house, mummy and daddy, then dd1. It did work, but dd1 was like that. She just did stuff you wanted her to and was older too. So no pearls of wisdom I'm afraid.

Maybe set alarm on your mobile phone to remind you? During sleep seems best plan.

moosemama · 27/12/2009 21:06

Just popping in to say CONGRATULATIONS DOG! You mad, mad woman you!

Haven't read much, gather lots of poorly children about. Hope all are better soon.

Lots and lots of poorlies here too, far too many and persistent to list and bore you all with.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

Dog Congratulations, that is amazing news! What a Christmas present! I can't believe you are barely out of nappies yourself and will have four gorgeous children before the summer is out - lucky lady! .

And moosey, great to hear from you. we have missed you! Sorry to hear about poorlies though - we are always here to offload on.

Lenni I'd bet lots of money that you'll have another one sometime in the future... you're a natural .

We went to N's first birthday party today - one of his little friends from mum & babies turned one yesterday - so, so sweet - and we even got a party bag!
