Oh fi Love your choice of pinny. That would look great.

Love the swimming hats too. Can't wait to see all the pictures .

spangle Did you know the surgeons were wellies during C/S's?

SpangleMaker · 28/09/2009 23:03

I have to admit the photoshoot idea came to me last night when I woke up when H was due a feed at 4.30am and lay there waiting for him to wake up. It then took me ages to get back to sleep because I was chuckling about the housecoats

Right, must go, very tired and need to go and give an opinion on the 110th sample of flooring for H's room. Night all x

FiByTheSea · 28/09/2009 23:04

ok found something really worrying funny or the dog with attitude

Belgianchocolates · 28/09/2009 23:04

Lol at the French doggy outfit.

Whoops. 11 o'clock already. Time for bed for me and a dream feed for C.

Night night! Happy dreams about glamorous photoshoots to everyone

FiByTheSea · 28/09/2009 23:06

haven't found a smoking jacket but how about a bath robe?

Belgianchocolates · 28/09/2009 23:06

OMG fi have you seen the girly side of that doggy clothing site. at what people buy for their dogs. Poor things. Just as well they don't know how silly they look.

FiByTheSea · 28/09/2009 23:08

i know... and tuxedos!! rofl

FiByTheSea · 28/09/2009 23:12

right must dream feed g and head to bed too. i'll be laughing in my dreams of housecoats, pinny's and doggy fashions

night night everyone.

Momino · 29/09/2009 06:01

morning . been up about 4x wth harper. What does she want??!!! have now given up trying to sleep and sat with the light, radio on feeding her again.

luckilu my mood is lightened by reaading last night's posts. Fi, ROFL at the 'urban doggy' site.

Belgian, wellies? really?

ahh, the little ange is now falling asleep on the job. overtiredness methinks. will someone tell all babies that sleeep is the solution to tiredness and it's easiest just to give in?

ok, mood switched around to tenderness as i'm now holding a sweetly snoring exhausted babe. they are gorgeous even in the maddening wee hours of the morning.

ladyhelen2 · 29/09/2009 07:44

Just been reading the photoshoot idea. ROFL. God, you lot are farking hilarious. fi am embarrassed to say I was rather taken with the pink frilly number. Do you think the idea is that you wear that on its own???

momimo morning!

Momino · 29/09/2009 07:46

morning ladyH.
actually girls all awake now. I've set up the older 2 with milk all round and am about to get dressed.

Have a good day, all.

now, where's my housecoat....?

FiByTheSea · 29/09/2009 08:28

ladyh apron and nothing else! dh would get ideas

momino sorry about your tiring night & hope you get a rest later or a vat of tea..

Febes · 29/09/2009 10:20

Morning all. I had a terrible night with DD up for about 3 hours and DS feeding every 2-3 hours. Yawn. When will it end?????

Have been cheered up reading the thread from last night. Housecoats may solve my wardrobe problem. Smart casual underneath tatty house on top. I like it.

llareggub · 29/09/2009 10:26

Morning.

Sorry to those who had bad nights. Ours wasn't too bad but somewhere along the line DS1 ended up in bed with us so we were 4 in the bed!

DS1 has gone out for the day so I have a day to myself (well, DS2 is here but he is no trouble) and I have plans to do very little whatsoever. I'd planned to meet my friends at the gym and do something called stability ball but the creche was full. So I might as well clean instead.

I went to bed chuckling last night too. I'd love to meet up with you all, and it would be wonderful.

ReeBee · 29/09/2009 10:43

Hi all

Not been around much recently but have just about caught up and love love LOVE last night's photoshoot conversation. HilARious!!

Tummum · 29/09/2009 10:47

Morning all. You lot are completely barking, BTW. Dogs in smoking jackets indeed . Oh, look what I did there... references to barking and dogs. Oh dear !

Right, now I have gotten my housecoat on and the kitchen is (sort of) clean, I am using my free morning really constructively by watching homes underneath the hammer .

I think Llare's idea of meeting up. Would it be possible do you think ?? Might be the great excuse I need to leave DH with the DCs overnight .

llareggub · 29/09/2009 10:52

Ooooooooh, how about it?

ReeBee · 29/09/2009 10:55

I'd be up for it, definitely.

FiByTheSea · 29/09/2009 11:32

I'd love to but i don't think it'd be possible for me atm.. dh is studying in all his spare time for a course to do with his work he has to pass.. or lose his job! it's a 3 stage course with tests after each bit.

Belgianchocolates · 29/09/2009 12:22

I love the idea of a great big MN may 09 meet up. I've only met 3 of us all together and that was already lovely. I'm not sure what would be best for me though, I could leave the eldest 2, but C needs my boobs too much. I couldn't leave her.

FiByTheSea · 29/09/2009 12:38

I'd have to bring G as i've not managed to make the time to express and i'd end up with rock hard ginormous leaky norks! not a good look for our photo

Tummum · 29/09/2009 12:47

I'd have to bring G too - so maybe we could make it during the day at the weekend, so we bring our youngest so they can meet each other too whilst the DH/Ps look after the other DC?

Did that sentence make any sense whatsoever?!

sophietom · 29/09/2009 13:06

Love last nights photoshoot discussion- Just give me a shout if my hair straightening talents are needed
btw my hobby is embroidery which I think would fit well in the photoshoot- I could be embellishing one of your bed jackets perhaps?(although I embroider images from tattoo flash and the like not pretty flowers )

Sorry about my post yesterday and thanks for all the lovely comments- I think it is a mix of prebaby clothes not fitting and my confidence being on the floor at the moment. I used to wear little dresses a lot and so bought myself a lovely dress from fatface whilst I was away but when I wore it on Sun I felt very self conscious (sp?) about my mummytummy and thunderthighs, I weigh just over a stone more than I used to.

Jake didn't settle last night until 11pm but then he slept through and went back to sleep as I fed him at 8.30 this morning so I popped him down on the bed beside me and went back to sleep myself- we woke up at 11.45!!! I feel very rested and he is more than forgiven for being a little terror yesterday evening!

Am watching discussion re meet up with interest and would attend if I could, would depend where it was I guess (and whether cocktails would be involved )

FiByTheSea · 29/09/2009 13:16

daytime at weekend def more possible for me.. where'd be good for everyone though. that'd be the hard one?

can someone talk some sense into me.. i'm so blimmin BROODY! at the moment. I thought having G would make me less so but it's had the opposite effect!! Can't stop thinking what another brother or sister for ds&G would be like.. sigh.

SpangleMaker · 29/09/2009 13:23

Ooh I'd be up for a meet up, definitely. Fab idea! Would DH/DPs be allowed? DH is usually busy with his business but we always used to enjoy a little trip somewhere even if it was work related. He could drive and help look after H to ensure I could have my full quota of cocktails I'm guessing somewhere central would be best eg Birmingham area?
