Hello! Up days are good! Don't worry re Friday, if it wasn't for down days, up days wouldn't be half as good! Are the two of you feeling better now?

MisSalLaneous · 24/02/2010 13:19

Good morning.

Chipmonkey, poor ds3. I know prob inevitable, but will keep my fingers crossed that ds4 doesn't get it.

I'm still shattered and the mountain of laundry continues to haunt me. Now clean, but the iron looking at me rather accusingly. So far I've been strong and have triumphed on the ignoring front!

chipmonkey · 24/02/2010 16:01

Oh I never iron, Sal! I go for the unkempt crumpled look!

MisSalLaneous · 24/02/2010 16:13

I'm all for that too, but I probably should do some of dh's shirts. Most of the time I don't and pretend it's because I'm a Modern Woman (actual reason is I'm just too lazy and he doesn't actually care, he's happy to do it himself), but he's working from home today and R in nursery, so I feel guilty hanging around doing nothing...

SuperSoph73 · 24/02/2010 16:21

Hey Scorps I second what Sal said, and as time goes on you'll have more up than down days - honest

Chipmonkey - sorry to hear about DS3. At least if DS4 gets it next it's over and done with . Our DS1 never seems to get anything like that. In the past I've literally made him hug kids with anything remotely like that & nothing ever happens!! I would really prefer it though if he got it sooner than later LOL manically!!!

I'm really excited and annoyed with myself at the same time. I've booked our flights to England for our summer hols but they'd gone up by 200 euros since I first looked at them. I knew I should have booked them then and there but didn't have the money at the time. I could kick myself. May have to console myself with wine this evening However, like I said, I'm really, really excited . Mum's booked our caravan at Sandy Bay & now we've just got to find money for getting to Newcastle & back & a hire car - am using that as a frazzled look btw, ha ha!

MisSalLaneous · 24/02/2010 16:54

Ooh Soph, how exciting! Ah, don't beat yourself up re increase. Yes, it's infuriating thinking of the amount, but in reality - if you didn't have it at the time, you didn't have it at the time.

My tmi of the day - I survived the whole of Rajasthan without "Delhi belly", but is feeling slightly, uhm, er, unstable today... Could do without a stomach bug now, so am hoping it's just tiredness that's responsible! Urgh.

ThePFJ · 25/02/2010 08:20

It's my birthday today and I took a pg test...

ThePFJ · 25/02/2010 09:09

ThePFJ · 25/02/2010 09:10

SuperSoph73 · 25/02/2010 09:39

How Fab ... off you go now and be excited LOL

MisSalLaneous · 25/02/2010 09:48

Oh what wonderful news early in the morning! Huge huge congratulations, PFJ, both on birthday and baby!

MisSalLaneous · 25/02/2010 15:04

Where are everyone when I want to chat? Hey??

I have nothing interesting to add, so was relying on you lot. Since I'm ignoring the silent treatment, I'll bore you with my non-news... Hmm, what could I possibly tell? Well, R woke up at 5 this morning, so we're slowly but surely getting over the jetlag. I also feel more human today.

Bet you died to know that.

SuperSoph73 · 25/02/2010 15:32

Thanks for that Sal I don't know how I've managed to go all day without knowing that I haven't got any news either. Sam stood unaided for the first time on Monday & he's into pulling hair at the nursery. Apparently he finds it hilarious but will only pull the girls hair! I keep telling him that the girls that like the caveman treatment are not the type I want in my house, thank you very much!!!!

MisSalLaneous · 25/02/2010 16:42

I am to please.

Ooh, how exciting re Sam! (standing up, not the hair, but you never know, I've heard rumours of "old values" coming back, so The Caveman King might just be the guy to be in a couple of years, haha.)

Scorps · 25/02/2010 20:23

Pfj yay!!! Congrats!

Nice to see you back Sal

I would like some ass please. And thighs. And boobs. I seem to be a shrinking women

Lacey had postnatal check and first jabs today, all fine. having another good day even though I've seen him. Doctor asked me about contraception LOL (I wish!!) am going to be born again virgin

OP posts:
MisSalLaneous · 25/02/2010 20:38

Hahahaha re doc! Well, the way my energy levels are going this week I'll join you in the born again virgin line! (snoring not conductive to nocturnal activities...)

I've got plenty of all your requirements - hell, you can have as much ass, thigh and boobs as you want and I'll still have spares if anyone would like. Requests on postcards, please.

ThePFJ · 25/02/2010 21:03

Scorps you can have my ass. It's brand new, I only grew it a month ago lol.

Happyhappyhappy..... squeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

MisSalLaneous · 26/02/2010 07:16

Oh PFJ, you must be so excited!

Hey Scorps, does Ocado deliver where you are? I've got the perfect solution for you lost-ass-predicament: Burn Sugar's Chewy Caramels. They're on special now for 1.29 a pack, so I added one with yesterday's grocery order. It's to die for... My ass-sharing abilities are growing as we speak!

SuperSoph73 · 26/02/2010 12:01

Morning all.

Scorps - how much would you like? I have more than enough to go round Especially as DH & I couldn't decide what to have for dinner last night and promptly ordered Chinese! I say this to myself every week but I'm definately going to try & be good starting next week .

Lidl's has taken over Gran Canaria About four of them opened yesterday. I haven't ventured into one yet but I bet you all the ass-cheeks in the world it'll still be all the usual crap nutritously packed rubbish that we get in all the other supermarkets. Why couldn't it be a Tesco or a Marks & Sparks food court thingy

Scorps · 26/02/2010 12:39

Some things in lidls are ok... No bloody Ocado here. Tesco and Morrisons, M&S 8 miles away.

Another up day, though up means it isn't making me cry and I know I'll be ok, iyswim. Someone will love me again I'm sure, lol.

I have a period ffs. God just loves me. Toddlers is in a church and they keep god talking to me. It's not for me.....

Lacey didn't sleep well last night. Yawn. I get quite cross at him on nights like that.

OP posts:
SuperSoph73 · 26/02/2010 13:10

Scorps - pleased to hear it's a good day for you. I shall report back on Lidl's once I get a chance to go.

Hey, you never know (with the church thing) - every little helps I feel for you though as my period's due to start today & I just feel even more mahoosive than I do normally .

MisSalLaneous · 26/02/2010 14:45

Ooh ooh Soph - best ever thing in Lidl is the caramel wafer biscuits thingies (technical term). I can't remember the name, but it's a pack of ten round wafers, about 10cm in with soft caramel spread between them. It's like those ones they sell at Starbucks, except it costs about £1 for the whole pack in Lidl, and about the same for one in Starbucks. You HAVE to go search for them. Honestly - it's the only reason I go to Lidl. Oh, I'm lying - and the coffee yoghurt.

MisSalLaneous · 26/02/2010 14:48

Hey Scorps, have you noticed you have more up than down days these days??
Re the church thing - well, as a Christian I'm biased, but it's probably not as bad as you think! (Mind you, people that "spam" me with anything annoys me as well, so they're probably not doing their cause any favours by bombarding you, lol.)
