Annie it was absolutely brilliant! I go so pissed.....whoops. Fell like hell on Friday. But it was great, loads of my friends came, and all bought shed loads, altogether she sold £680's worth - and as I got 10% off my things I got 3 pairs of boots for £60. Really pleased with what I bought apart from the fact that I haven't got any of it yet as she needs to deliver them in my size this week. All the food went, most of the wine, really fun night.

Felt ok by yesterday, really tired still though, and had to go out to dinner last night which neither DH not I felt like doing. But as it was entirely my friend's treat including the taxi we felt we had to go and it was a good night. Totally over being hungover though...feel like I've been hit by a truck. Very sober and dietary week in front of me this week.

Spin your weeks sound bloody impossible, you are going to turn around in 4 years time and wonder where the time went! Sounds fun and interesting and busy though, good luck with it all.

Love to everyone. Slow and steady today i think....

Morning all!!!!

Hope things are ok with everyone. Been soooo busy with work and stuff again.

Busy today,Ds1 is doing a sponsered Ariel Assault to raise funds for dd2's nursery. Some mums and dads are doing it too but dh and i are both terrified of heights so ds1 is doing it in our place lol.

Younger cousin is viewing a house in my area and is popping in this afternoon then we have promised the dd's we will take them swimming. It is my least favourite thing to do with them arghhh!!!

Gave in about a month and read the Twillight books and am hooked Watched the dvd last night,DH not impressed at the amount of swooning lol.

Stinky I am in Scotland too!!!!

HC you know i love having my 4 lol. Only thing i would do different is have them a little bit closer. There are advantages to having a live in babysitter but the age gap feels huge at times!!

DH still in crappy job making shit money. There is to be a tribunal at some point before summer with his old workplace,6 managers dismissed unfairly so heres hoping

Better move my arse girls, have a good day all xx

HumphreysCorner · 21/02/2010 21:43

Evening all

Has been quite a busy half term so it will be nice to have a rest when Em goes back to school. Yeah right!

Have got this stray cat miaowing at our door. As soon as I open the door to shoo it, it tries to run inside. I went outside and it then rubbed around my legs. DH has banned me from feeding it.

agalch, if I ever have No4 then the gap would be quite narrow. Big step to take though......

Bloss, that sounded like a great night. Bet you don't stay off the vino for long.

Dancing on Ice results then bed ready for the mad school rush in the morning.

Love to all!

Hello everyone!

S'been a puke-fest in our house for the last few days, only me and FIL have not affected. Inlaws gone back today, Mimi still not herself, Joey sent home from school after an 'accident'... DH still on crutches, but allowed to put weight on it now.
It's only me left!

Besides all that, managed a few lie-ins over half term, no rushing off every morning. Nice.

Bloss your night sounds fab! I want one...

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 22/02/2010 17:16

have not been affected. Infected even...

HumphreysCorner · 22/02/2010 20:51

Oh Annie, that was a nasty bug. Hope everyone feels better soon. Your poor DH still on crutches.

My DH has now received an £80 for not doing a SORN declaration. Never got a reminder.

Big wave!

Oh no, HC, how annoying.

More puking - Joey last night. He's off school for 48 hours now (they won't let him back!)

Come on summer...

Indeed, roll on Summer!

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 24/02/2010 12:29

Another episode last night. I got there just in time to be spewed on... nice...

Hope everyone else is well...

TheGoddessBlossom · 24/02/2010 12:50

I was the only one not to get it in this house. Too busy to be ill!

Blissful day at home today, after 2 in London and back into london again tomorrow.

Did I tell you that Harry won player of the WEEK on the last day and got a trophy!! I was very proud of him indeed.

Played squash this morning, and BF's little boy's birthday party this afternoon, hopefully work won't get busy and we can go.

Loving my new boots - wearing pair 2 today, big ugg style black furry ones. Annie do you want her details? She lives in Andover but travels all over to do these parties....honestly, if you can get enough people there they will all buy something, it is lovely stuff.

So work is going well, big pipeline, but am discovering that we don't actually have any consultants left to deliver anything I do sell. Brilliant.

Hey Spin, how's Uni, have you had Fresher's week!

Should find out on Saturday morning if T has got into H's school, bloody hope so...

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2010 20:20

Hey everyone I honestly don't know where time goes as this thread seems to disappear off my 'threads I'm on' very quickly

Annie - we have had a nasty sickness bug aswell! Sam got sent home from nursery on Friday as he kept being sick and then DH got it on Monday Me and Josh have so far escaped it (touch wood!) Honestly it was like I had 3 children at home on Monday with all 3 (including DH) clamouring for my attention - DH got short shrift as you can imagine

Bloss - I definitely like the idea of a bag and boot party Am sure there is nothing like that up in the 'unsophisticated' north We don't find out about schools until 8 March - I am dying to find out and am sure I will be checking my e-mails every 30 minutes that day!!! My first choice for Josh has an excellent reputation so I am desperately hoping he will go there.

Spin - I feel exhausted just reading what you are upto. I struggle with time now and that is before Josh and Sam do any activities (apart from Josh's swimming lesson but that is on Sat mornings so not that difficult to accommodate).

I got a strange pre-entry record from nursery last week which they wanted me to complete for Josh - they said that all the things on there wouldn't be expected to be achieved until they finished Yr 1 of infant school but some of them were so basic, DH actually checked whether I was talking about Sam or Josh Do schools have low expectations??? Anyway, out of the entire list, there were only 2 things Josh can't do now and he will be one of the youngest in the class and is still over 2 years off finishing Yr 1

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 26/02/2010 11:33

Everyone seems better now TG! Except Mimi's friend from nursery who spewed all over our living room on Wednesday. I'm torn between guilt at having perhaps passed it onto her and complete sympathy with her mum!!
There are some rumblings in my tummy today, which I am pointedly ignoring...

Bloss how was London? I saw a lady this morning I thought might have been you, the hair was like yours and she was walking like I imagine you walk and she was wearing pink polka dot wellies!! Congrats to Harry, what a star! Yes send me the bag and boot lady details (via FB mail?) you never know!!
Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure Tobes will get in no problem. Another two week or so wait to hear about Mimi, but it's so unlike the stress of last year waiting for Joey that I'm not even thinking about it.

CB hope your lot are better and you and Josh have still escaped! Know what you mean about having three kids to look after!!The pre-entry thing sounds about right, I think they're just checking that the children will be able to cope, dress themselves, feed themselves, go to the toilet, that sort of thing.

And I would like to announce... Mimi is finally finally (touch wood shouldn't really say this will probably jinx it) TOILET TRAINED! She's been a week without any accidents at all, dry at night, no night nappies. Please GOD let this be the end of it. I think it helped that she got a new Peppa pyjamas and didn't want to get that wet. She got her prize yesterday, a tiny mini Barbie thing in a pink car. She was chuffed!!

Right so, best do some work x

TheGoddessBlossom · 26/02/2010 12:45

Annie - hilarious. I can imagine work's faces if I turned up to work in those boots! Although I do own a pair that sound quite similar! If you saw a woman power walking past the Bank of England and disappearing down past the building works, fighting her umbrella, and narrowly missing being flattened by a taxi then yes that was probably me.

Work is crazy busy. I appear to be the new Retail guru, and have opportunities with Primark, B&Q and TKMaxx! Not too happy about the meeting i have at Flybe on Wednesday in, wait for it, EXETER of all places. Nice 7 hour round trip in the car for an hours meeting. WTF? [gmm]

Right off to Tescos with Tobes and my Mum, should be interesting, wonder which one I will actually come back with? Just TROUNCED my sister at squash!

Love to all

Bloss

Lol Annie at imagining how Bloss walks, have had the image for years. Well done Mimi, I am thinking that Sophie will be in pullups forever. She has such heavy nappies in the morning and wet the bed yesterday through a nappy. She then pooed her pants for the 2nd time this week and I cannot describe how badly the poo was spread on her clothes, the toilet and the bath. Hope you avoid the icky bug.

Bloss, hope you are all OK too.

Anyone know why I keep getting pins and needles in my arms day and night. Worse at night and it wakes me up. I am thinking it may be a) caused by me lying down to feed M then falling asleep avoiding falling off the bed, have to keep my arms out of his way or b) carrying M in his carseat as it weighs a ton or a combination of both.

It is sluicing it down here and I am supposed to be loading the caravan ready for a quick getaway tonight. DH is coming home at lunch to wash the car.

Massive wave.

Today, in a cafe, Josh kept asking for a 'meerkat' - turns out he wanted a kitkat How cute is that??

TheGoddessBlossom · 28/02/2010 08:38

CB!

Totally paranoid about how I walk now...

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 01/03/2010 10:53

Sorry Bloss! Elegant power walking is how I imagined if that's any better!? Did you get Toby's school?!?!?!?!?!??!

CB, v v v cute!!

Hc, how are the pins and needles? I found that for a while, I think it was when you have to lay on your back (pg and bf) my hands would be on my tummy so all the blood runs out of them. Don't remember what I did, just try and keep them moving I guess (difficult when you are asleep though... )

Now, where's Impy...

PixelHerder · 01/03/2010 16:37

Hello ladies - sorry I've been so rubbish at keeping up...

Has everyone (who's in England) heard about schools yet? Am on tenterhooks today waiting for the email to find out which school Emma has got into. She should hopefully get into the primary which we're in the catchment for, that she's at the pre-school of... but apparently for this year only (grr) it's oversubscribed as there are so many 3-4 year olds in the area. There's another one nearby which is not at all oversubscribed, but that's the one with the really crap ofsted report

We're still trying to crack no-nappies night-times - it's a bit hit and miss, but we only ditched the night nappies about 3 weeks ago so it's early days I guess. We stick her on the potty at about 11pm, which seems to help. She's pretty good during the days (fingers crossed).

Hope all the sick bugs have buggered off - it's gorgeous sunshine here so hopefully this really is the start of spring!
Big wave to all xxx

HumphreysCorner · 02/03/2010 10:22

Morning all

Can't remember when I find out about Sophie's school place.

Took this at the weekend but it is a tad blurred sadly. In the caravan.

Hope all OK.

Yes Toby got in, yay!

No the fun of finding a ChildMinder to have both of them starts...

T still in night nappies....lift him when I go to bed and he wakes up to do some wees, but still has a wet nappy in the monring...

PixelHerder · 02/03/2010 14:02

Yay Bloss

Sweeet pic HC, the girls are so alike in looks aren't they? Matthew is a cutie, he's looking all solemn bless him.

Still haven't heard re school, aaargh. Supposed to get an email yesterday which hasn't arrived, and no post today either. Have emailed the admissions people but heard nothing back yet. Oh well, at least the weather's nice!

HumphreysCorner · 02/03/2010 14:26

Great news Bloss. Have found my E-Mail application that says I find out on the 15th March.

Pixel-M is often overwhelmed by the girls' cuddles.

Damn car failed its MOT so had to cancel M's 16 week jabs so he is now having them on the 23rd at 25 weeks. MOT ran out last October so car neither MOT'd or taxed.

Laters!

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 03/03/2010 11:17

Yes, great news Bloss! Think we find out about Mimi around the 15th as well, HC, but I'm not fretting much, she should be in safe enough, being a sibling. She did have a huge tantrum on the way to nursery this morning though...
Any news Pix? It's nerve-wracking alright when it's your first one!!

Gorgeous photo HC, definitely one for the wall! Don't go driving that car, you!

Missed yoga today

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 03/03/2010 12:47

oh, it's the 30th we find out about Mimi's school. Crap I've been telling everyone it's the 15th...
