Bloss-welcome back, glad your DH got an insight to your way of life. Am hoping the same will happen when DH has his paternity leave.

Cold is much better but had contractions every 8-10 minutes last night until 4am when they stopped. Feel tired today.

Hope all OK and have not deserted this thread.

Lots of love!

Oooh HC! Anything since? I'm sure you'll cope brilliantly when it happens.

Bloss, welcome back, sounds fab! Bet your boys were glad to see you too!! Glad Harry is getting on so well and you are all settling into the new phase well.

Joey's third day this morning, he wanted me to come in and wave at him through the window, but I explained that Mammies and Daddies aren't allowed in, but I would wave at him in the line, so he was fine with that, so cute and so slow!! Waved all the way in... I think he's fine really, it just felt a bit in-at-the-deep-end expecting them to line up by themselves on their second day.
He seems not to know anybody at all, though I know a few faces now. But it's early days, I expect he's still a little overwhelmed, understandably. Am very proud of how brave he is!

Mimi had a shite night's sleep last night and woke us all up very very early this morning... but I think she's coming down with something, so I may have been a bit hard on her. It was nice not to have to rush actually!

Hope all you ladies are well

PS Kerry are the All-Ireland Champions again!!!

Hi laydeez!

Hope you're all ok. Sounds like you're nearly ready HC - so exciting!!! Hope you get over your cold soon.

Thanks Annie for your pix compliment! Your pix were gorg too. Cute kids. Glad Joey is doing so well. Ry was fine the first two days - despite being greeted by a classroom of screaming kids, calling "mama!!!" on the first day! But by day 3 he decided he'd rather stay at home so we had some tears (and that was just me ;-) Think he'll be fine but it does feel too young... oh well...

Glad Harry's doing ok too Bloss. The India trip sounded great. Hope your dh sticks to his promise to help out!

Go for another day with Queen Roshi, Spin - sounds like she's more than ready. Good for you studying again. I would love to better myself but am way too lazy to go down the studying road again...!

Hope SA goes well Flick. Hope work is going well CB. Hard to go back, isn't it? I've reduced my hours to two-thirds (company requested volunteers from our department to help with the credit crunch) and am really enjoying working less. Fits in well with Ry starting school too.

Wave to everyone else too, Bead, Algach, Pixel...

Hugs Impy x

AnnieOneForTennis · 22/09/2009 20:11

Impy, Ry is so little to go to school! If that were Mimi I would be in tears too!! Just about handling it with Joey. He announced this morning that he didn't want to go to school, but he was in the middle of a Scooby race. Then this evening, he asked if he had to go to school AGAIN tomorrow, and when we said yes, he said 'ah, not again!'. But he doesn't seem unhappy... and he always 'forgets' what they did today.

Anyways. Thinking of you HC

It will, it will, HC, I'm sure! There must be a law about not going overdue with your third, mustn't there??? Fingers crossed for you it happens sooooon xxx

Glorious day here, been on the beach this afternoon, I think Emma's finally overcoming her fear of the seaside She still doesn't like waves though, bless her.

She's also developed an aversion to going 'too fast' in the car (ie anything above 10mph) - sigh...

Ceebee74 · 27/09/2009 20:13

Evening all

HC - I really feel for you but it is only a matter of time! Try to keep as busy as you can.

Pixel - lol at Emma. Josh went through exactly the same a few months ago - hated going on motorways as they were 'too fast' and had a tantrum everytime we had to go on a motorway....now he loves them His current 'thing' is that me or DH have to have both hands on the steering wheel otherwise he shouts 'hold on tight' from the back!

Work going ok - tis very boring though as I actually haven't got much work to do so the days are dragging! Ah well, only got this week to go and then having my operation and another 3-4 weeks off

Josh is very proud of himself and keeps announcing to us that he is a 'pre-schooler' now - but he did tell me that he didn't want to go to big school until he is 5. Guess he is going to be in for a shock then

HC, hope you are enjoying your last few days of heffalumpiness!! Plenty of choc, and get that BH in the fridge chillin'!

Spin, take it easy, enjoy the holiday - they're for relaxing aren't they? not stressing.

CB, lol at Josh!! Hope work perks up.

Pix, lol at Emma too!! Good to hear from you x

Bit of drama on Friday, DH went to pick Joey up from school with Mimi, and Joey fell over and cut open his head . DH phoned me and burst into tears couldn't talk, so I left work straight away and went to A&E, which took me over an hour, being on the other side of London! Anyway, got there, and the doc was just seeing him, he had a huge gash on the side of his head, just on the hairline, and though I couldn't see it, DH said you could see white in the hole! But they cleaned him up and glued him and he's absolutely fine, thank God. He will have a scar, about an inch long I'd say, but it's on his hairline so won't be very noticeable. He was so brave, although he did cry initially, he was so good when the nurse was cleaning him and gluing him, and when the doc was shining lights in various places.
It was the not knowing what had happened, how bad it was, was the worst part - for me. For DH it must have been the huge amount of blood! The school were great, took him in and stopped the bleeding (mostly) and put ice on it and looked after him while DH went to get the car.

PHew!

Mimi has been very very good at doing her wees and poos on the toilet the last week or so. Fingers crossed we have finally finally cracked it!

Hope everyone else is ok.
