Hi all.
Algach - so glad to see you back, and very sorry to hear about your Aunt, that is very sad, so sorry for your family's loss Very pleased to hear your DH has got a job however shit, it is testament to his commitment and determnation that he has got any job in the current climate!
Hi Rhinestone, Happy New Year to you!
Happy Birthday Annie, hope you had a good one? How's the head?
I am back at work in London today. Was very prepared yesterday, all H's school uniform ironed and ready, both boys bags in the car, my bag packed and clothes ready. Machine swung into gear at 6.30am when T got into our bed, but because he is 3 (3 DH, HE IS 3!!!) he wriggled and chatted, and as per, DH exploded with rage and literally through him into his room. I told him (not in front of Toby) that I thought he was a bit heavy handed, and then I got both barrels, so a lovely big row to start our Monday.
He did at least have the grace to phone and apologise when I was on the train, which I did appreciate, but jesus I really do think he needs some anger management.
Spin, your week in Syd etc sounds great, wish I could join you. Don't think we will be getting a summer holidya this year, as DH hasn't worked since we got back from Egypt - can't lay bricks and dig holes in snow and ice. He is at home again today as it is -6 here. Which is not helping his mood - nor is not drinking, being on a diet, starting running, and giving up smoking.....
A bit early I know, but already stressing about what I am going to do when T starts school. Becuase he will only be just 4 he will do half days until Christmas. How the frig am I going to cope with that? No way the childminder will pick him up at 1 and then go back for H at 3....plus I don't think she could cope with the two of them in her small houses plus her own 2 year old DS....oh the irony that once both my children start school it will be harder than ever to work.....
Anyway, perhaps a tad premature to worry about it.
Hope all are well.
Bloss
