I don't own the far seer ones but I could post you the others to you if you want to borrow them.

missjackson · 23/08/2009 10:33

Hi everyone -

Have read through six pages of chat, struggled with various name changes, and forgot it all . Glad to have you back though MM - but can't believe you were so local and I missed you! Llangorse lake is about ten minutes away .

We are loving the Green Man festival this weekend - my BIL got us free tickets as he is playing, and it is literally just down the road - so we've been coming back here to sleep. Such a great festival for families - next year I need all you festival-goers to come, and we can set up camp together! The music is lovely too - sort of folk/ bluegrass-based but lots of different stuff going on. Thought of you news when I peeked into the Radical Midwifes Tent!

The mountains around the estate form a sort of natural amphitheater. We saw Bon Iver last night who was just brilliant. N has been having such fun - being played with by lots of beardy blokes all day (my BIL and his band!), and in the evenings we snuggle him up in the buggy and he just sleeps through all the fun .

Sorry for selfish post. It's hard to keep up with this thread if you miss a day!

Whoa. You ladies Chat!

So OH is home... Hurrah! For all of about 20 hours and its a 6 hour round trip! Bless him!!!

Am DESPERATELY trying to sort relocating asap.

So, we aren't prepared to have Esme in a hotel. Can't have own room, or space to place, etc. So there is this company who let flats (2 bed) for short times. So was thinking of taking one of those as they are fully serviced, linen, furnishes, the works. Perfect for house viewing from..... But.... they are minimum of £100 a night for 2 bed! Wow! Although OH has some relocation money- thats blowing it silly style.

So on the rental market there is NOTHING suitable. So i have email the agents of some new houses on the market for sale, with the HOPE maybe someone would be interested in letting theirs? As given our track record of 3 houses in 3 years not keen to buy. Luckily we rented here!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed please ladies!!!

Better go, OH back from his warm down run, so off for lovely lunch to teasure him up!!!!!

missj am super We went last year with DD and the weather was awful, despite the weather and having to pee/throw up at least once an hour we had a good time. Its a truely beautiful setting, the back drop to the main stage is breath taking.

Re-introduced weetabix and a rusk to DS yesterday....this morning his chest is covered in eczema and his poo is most odd. Would this be a wheat intolerance/allergy? Do they grow out of these things? Took hi m to gp about a month ago and the gp was v. laid back and said just totry reintroducing foods every 3 weeks or so and see what happened and gave us oilatum for the bath and some aqueous cream too. Poor ds is scratching away

Off to visit friend's new baby today....[broody emoticon]

120cms · 23/08/2009 11:25

hz, that sounds like a nightmare! are you putting formula in with the weetabix? I've a book that explains a good rate of introduction of 'difficult' foods. remind me and I'll bring it for you!

120cms · 23/08/2009 11:25

spotty thanks for the combos!

Have started a fb list

OK - Pebbles flintstone. Well, not surprisingly, it all cosy more than is idea. Matalan had pale turqoise fleecy trousers for £3.50, but the strong colour were better. Unfortunately they come with a truly awful tracky top, complete with diamente . £9 and she will never be let wear them anywhere outside. Ah well. If it's warm on the day I'll chop of the legs to create Pebblen style shorts.
Green tshirt with long sleeves from Debs, blooming £4.80. I'll felt tip the animal spots on. And chop sleeves off if its sunny
I found a white skirt - £10. It's quite nice actually and has a uneven hem anyway so that is top banana. I got a one arm vest off ebay. DH's costume is on it's way.

Just need to make a cardboard bone to go in dd1's hair and I think we are sorted.
I could do with a bit of animal print fabric for a small hat for Hatts.
Ooo and I got 3 plastic white foam balls in a craft shope - I have no clue what they are for. But they will make a fab Wilma necklace! Hurah!

I hope we look like the Flintstones, and not like utter loons.

So today my mum had all the children, so I went to town on my own. In a new Boden dress [summer sale blue flowery affair] that is not suitable for bfing, and a proper bra. Fab. It felt goooooood!!!

Am really trying not to be sleepy tired though. I hate this feeling!

The best bit was proper bra. For a whole 2 hours.

LenniAgain · 23/08/2009 16:27
