That Dizzy is because you have taste! Imagine something you wouldn't mind the public dropping food on, sticking gum under, kiddies being sick on etc... now go and look again

I have two small ebay-sourced Argos sofas in my front room, and a nice Heals one.

Guess which one the children like to sit on with snacks.

Have you got a link for us to drool over Dizzy?

How are things with you, Oops? Are you any further on with your plans?

Lovely presents for DD by the way.

dizzydixies · 24/08/2009 20:55

is £380 per armchair REALLY a huge amount though??!? someone please slap me if it is - faux leather for ease of cleaning and made to order - ikea have very similar ones in fabric for >£200

ah now sorry I should have mentioned that, you can have it any colour, its the shape and size of the armchair I was looking at - apparently the white shows up best on the webpage for people to browse!

I love it, now A. I have to get it past the grant funding bodies and B. it will be at the detriment of all other furniture as there won't be any room for anything else lol

yeah, i reckon you should order a dozen of those dizz!

my fav soup is potato and hmm can't remember, is it leek? hate tomato, allergic to chicken (unless its all 100% natural, its chicken flavouring that makes me sick but you didn't need to know all that did you!), i love a thick veg soup with chunky veg ooh and a jewish type clear soup with thin noodles hmm no idea what flavour the clear stuff was though. i'm not being much help am i! ignore me, sazz speaks sense!

Miamla · 24/08/2009 21:42

ikea had a lovely chair and table set. i actually designed it a few years ago but forgot to tell ikea and now someone else has come up with the same idea... off to find a linkski... here you go...

Miamla · 24/08/2009 21:43

oh and i hate tomato soup, can't sit near anyone eating it either, the smell is vile!

oopsacoconut · 24/08/2009 21:46

Dizzy - I am a big chicken doodle soup fan, sweet potato and butternut, good old fashioned cock-a-leekie. this is my type of sitting drinking tea, eating cake, reading a good book, watching the rain pass me by sofa

dizzydixies · 24/08/2009 21:47

am 99% certain am having these for the seating at the high tables but we're having two lower coffee tables in the big harbour window that I wanted some comfy seating for - hence those deep seated armchairs

Miamla - tomato soup shall be banned for your visit

oops that's lovely but it looks alot like costa's sofas. dizz personally i reckon you should go for something a bit different, like a bright flowery pattern or at least a bright colour. brown is lovely but boring. its the new black dontchaknow!

you'll ban tomato soup for me? ahhh its definitely love i've just had a crazy idea...when roughly is it due to open? i'm v tempted to plan my edinburgh trip around the opening
